I’ve been a customer since I got my first pet. They always took care everything perfect. Recently I got some difficult situation to prepare flight trip with my dog. They helped me everything they could do. I really appreciated it. I was almost panic but they made me calm and gave me solutions. Thanks alot.

I do not have enough kind words to express how pleased we are with finding Stone Oak Vet. Dr Hall is wonderful, caring and has an amazingly warm heart! After many fails we found the vet for our little ones!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The front desk were nice, but the vet tech was extremely rude. For one, she tried to guilt trip me for denying the vaccines for my dog that weren’t necessary at the time. I called prior to my visit to get a price estimate for everything needed for standard routine 2nd puppy vaccine visit, which was around $100. When I got there, the price was estimated to be $240. Luckily, I ended up only paying the price that was mentioned over the phone, but unfortunately not all of the vaccines were administered that I was told over the phone. Secondly, I heard the tech gossiping about me behind the door that only staff have access to whenever I was in the room; which as you can imagine - was super uncomfortable. Lastly, during the whole appointment they kept trying to add more things onto my bill, so I was constantly having to repeat that I was only going to do what was discussed over the phone. Sucks cause I had high expectations based on the reviews I read, but I should’ve paid more attention to the 1 star reviews. Reading them now, I see a lot of similarities with my personal experience.

Dr Fernandez and staff have provided absolutely outstanding care for our two mini-poodles for over 10 years. The quality of care, compassion and expertise are unsurpassed. When I first started to go to the Clinic I was a new pet Mom with lots to learn. Dr Fernandez and his team were never too busy to help. Dr Fernandez was always prompt in returning phone calls and providing results of labs. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fernandez and his team. I would also like to commend the groomers they have had, especially Kelli who unfortunately no longer works there. I have not had the pleasure of having the new groomer beautify Izzi. It seems there is a new policy/procedure with the new groomer and ownership. About a month ago, I took Izzi in for her appointment. As I have done for years, I was first in the parking lot before the clinic opened. I have always been told that it is first come, first serve. I called from my car and advised Joanna that we were ready. She said the groomer had not arrived yet. I thought they were still in Covid mode and we had to wait until a tech came to the car. I saw people going in so I went in and handed Izzi to the groomer along with instructions. I was told they would call when Izzi was ready for pickup. I returned in about 1 and 1/2 hours and waited in the car for about 15 minutes. I then went in to check on the status. I was told that the groomer was working on another pet and Izzi was in the dryer. I was told that the boarders get priority. I had also scheduled for Izzi’s immunizations. I was told that it was lunch time and it would be another hour or two before she would finish grooming and get immunizations. I asked for Izzi who was already dry. Who knows how long Izzi had been under the dryer. I expect the groomer to start and finish with one pet before working on another as has always been done. Joanna and Sara told me that boarders come first even if I am there first and there are no scheduled times. They said there is an additional fee for the groomer to abruptly stop what she is doing and take care of Izzi. This seems unreasonable and detrimental to the pet on the table. I was told that special accommodations had been made previously for me. I never expected nor do I want special accommodations. This has never been an issue before. I left the Clinic very Disappointed. I took Izzi to another Vet who is actually a lot closer for us for her immunizations. I have been using another groomer but prefer a groomer in a Clinic where a physician is present in the event of an injury or concern. This morning I spoke with Joanna and asked if the policy/procedure has changed back to the way it was, first come, first seen. She said it has not. She did offer the option to pay an additional $30.00 to have the groomer drop what he is doing in order to take car of Izzi. Again, this seems unreasonable and unfair to pet on the table. Joanne was very gracious and said she would discuss my concerns with the office manager and would call me if the policy changes. Please let me reiterate that Dr Fernandez his team are the best of the best!!! I regret having to post any negative comments. However, it it only the policy/procedure that I have an issue with. Please call if you want to discuss this further. Thank you. Sincerely, Marti Buchholtz

Great staff ! Dr. Hall was amazing with my dog. Back in March thru June my dog was basically terminally ill. Dr. Hall was very comforting and did her absolute best to help my doggie out! Sara was awesome during our struggles. Amazing Folks there who truly care about pets!! Thanks

The staff at this clinic have helped my pets many times, through sickness and health. Most recently, my handicapped cat was sick and needed care ASAP. The receptionists were helpful with working her in that day for evaluation as a drop off despite the short notice, and the technician was gentle and handled her as if she were her own pet. Within a couple of days, my cat was back to her normal self after treatment, thanks to the wonderful, caring, and compassionate team at Stone Oak Vet! Soon, I will be boarding my dog here and know he will be in the best of hands!

I've been bringing my pups to Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic for 15+ years. Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Hall are the very best. They take the time to explain any issues with your pet in easy-to-understand terms. I can honestly say that they treat my doggie companions better than I've been treated by some human physicians. To wit, my family have relied on Stone Oak Vet Clinic to care for the following critters: Doberman, Beagle, Mini Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, and a Brussels Griffon mish-mash. I can't recommend them enough.

In January my 10-year old puppy became very sick. It turned out that the vet I had been taking her to was horrible & missed the obvious warning signs for over a year, and now she was in kidney failure. I immediately took her to Stone Oak Vet - Dr. Hall and her team worked diligently to save her life. Thankfully, they were able to help her recover well enough that I was blessed with 7 extra months of quality life with her before she passed away in July. When it was time for her to go, the staff was so comforting and compassionate. They allowed me as much time as I needed to say goodby and stay in the room with her as she passed. Had it not been for Dr. Hall, Sara, and the team at Stone Oak Vet, I would have lost my precious puppy, Gia, in January. I only wish I would have been going to them the entire time, as I could have had more years with my baby girl. I have a new puppy now, and the ONLY vet she goes to is Stone Oak Vet!!! <3

A very upsetting and unsettling experience for a family that considers our pet to be a loved and cared member. We had a sick visit walk-in appointment and our pet was taken to the back and evaluated. After the evaluation, the office told my elderly Father that they would not give him our Dog if he did not complete all the medical forms at that time. He was helping out by taking her and did not have access to this information. The office staff, including Christine, the manager, was unapologetic, argumentative and threatening over the phone. If we had known, my Father would not have taken our loved pet if he knew that ahead of time. I hope nobody else ever has to receive a call at work stating that their loved pet is being held hostage. It is unbelievable that such a policy is not disclosed to the owners. If you have a pet you love and care about, like us, this is not the clinic for your furry family member.

We have used Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic for several years. Our dog was rescued from a shelter and has extreme fear and anxiety issues. The doctors and staff have always been very patient and considerate of his needs. We have been pleased with the care that our pet receives at each visit.

We took our fur baby in for a nail trim after not being able to find someone in this area who could actually trim our ‘Nervous Nelly’s’ nails. They did a fantastic job and picked up a lifetime client.

Dr. Fernandez and his staff are the best! They have taken care of my miniature dachshund for 13 1/2 years. Lulu was a pound and a half on her first visit with Dr. Fernandez. We don’t trust anybody but him to look after our baby! Thanks Doc!!!

This was my first visit at Stone Oak Veterinary. I’ve been to two other clinics since moving to SA and by far this clinic them! First, making an appointment was very easy! I was able to chat with someone immediately via their website. Followed by a phone call from Front desk to schedule my appointment. Joann was able to accommodate us first thing in the morning! That morning, we were greeted warmly by her and told me that our exam room was set up and ready! There was hardly any wait at all…Dr. V examined my baby and very attentive to her needs and administered her flu shot. I was in and out within 30 minutes! I had asked about Pet Medical Insurance so, Jo had information ready for me upon checking out. I’m so glad I made the decision to bring my baby to Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic.

Both the Vet and Staff are amazing! Vet tech Sarah is exceptional! Her customer service skills are superb and her friendliness makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Her extensive knowledge of products and procedures made me feel confident that my Pooch was in great hands. The Vet is very sweet and personable as well, she explained everything in great detail and genuinely cared about administering quality care... She also knows the value of a buck, she saved me $40 today. Thank you Stone Oak Veterinary Clinic.

I am looking to switch my vet and need to get an appt mass ASAP bc I know there isn’t going to anything open for weeks probably, as it is. After reading around and looking at reviews I decided I wanted to go with this practice. That was short lived and honestly I am glad to know now than after a few visits bc I want something stable for my dog and for him to feel comfortable with the same vet and this place is not it. Can’t be bc they are completely unreliable and literally won’t be reached. I have been calling for 5 days- every single day at least twice. They must be at max client capacity or making plenty of money off their existing clients not to care. Just say in your IVR system we are not accepting new patients bc you aren’t and have been waiting my time. And they leave the voice mail box full so you can’t leave a message either. Are you even real? The number is in another state as well. Shady something is going on here.

Dr Fernandez took care of my dog at a time when she was diagnosed with cancer. The compassion of the hospital was phenomenal. Their service was impeccable. I am beyond pleased as to how I was treated during this difficult time.

Dr. Fernandez was amazing. My dog gets very stressed when getting her nails trimmed. So I have to take her to the vet to get it done. Not only did Dr. Fernandez did the nail trimming himself, but he also held her in a way that was less stressful for her. Doctor came out to the curbside to talk to me (not the experience with previous doctor) and passionately addressed all my questions regarding her picky eating habit. Staff was also very professional, friendly, and carrying with handling my dog.

We’ve been bringing our pets here for 2 1/2 years. The vet techs and doctors are amazing. I wish I could give them 5 stars;however, the receptionists there could use some training on proper customer service. They always seem rushed scheduling appointments, collecting payment, or providing additional information about services. Overall they seem overwhelmed and annoyed.

Best office ever. Friendly staff, superior service, and best veterinarian in town. We wouldn't take our fur babies anywhere else. Our 4 legged children give then 2 paws ???? up. Thank you all at Stone Oak Vet for being available during this pandemic. Your front-line service is graciously appreciated. Know that our animals are equally thankful.

DO NOT bring your pets to this clinic!! We have brought our pets to this clinic for less than a year and will not be returning ever again. Not only is the staff rude towards both pets and their owners, but full information was not given about what was to happen during checkups and treatment. False information was given about pricing of shots and medication which ended up costing us an extra $300 for each of our four animals. A friend of mine brought her dog to have an infected toe amputated, unfortunately due to the incompetence of the staff the wrong toe on the wrong foot was amputated. Needless to say there are far better quality veterinary clinics for a better price that will take better care of your animals.

I have been bringing my two dogs to see Dr. Hall for about a year. During that time she and her tech have been great. The front desk, not so great. A little over a month ago my senior dog was prescribed a food that would be easier on her kidneys. She is my fourth dog so I have had plenty of experience changing dog foods and know to gradually make the change over several weeks. On day two of introducing the food she started to throw up. By early afternoon she had thrown up three times. I called the clinic, it was a Sunday so I didn’t expect to actually speak with anyone, I knew I would be leaving a message. I had to call six times before the system stopped disconnecting me and let me leave a message. I told it what had happened and said I was looking for some guidance and advice and to have Dr. Hall call me. I never received a call. Three weeks later when I had my dog in for a follow-up vaccine I told the receptionist what had happened. She never apologized but said she would pass the information on to the manager. Still no call. My dog has adjusted to the new food and we have moved on to another clinic. I knew she wasn’t going to die, but she is my fur-baby and I really wanted to know if I was doing the right thing continuing the new food or not. I don’t know who listens to the messages left on their machine, but it’s obviously not anyone who cares about my dog, maybe it’s the manager who didn’t seem to care about my experience. Sadly, I bet Dr. Hall has no idea this has happened.
