My dog loves staying at Pet Suites Airport, San Antonio, Texas! All of the staff are so responsive and professional!

Never Returning. We have used PetSuites to board our three Pups over the years excluding the height of the Pandemic. Unfortunately, the quality of care for fur babies at PetSuites has taking a downward spiral. On our last visit, walking up to the entrance, there was vomit by the front door. We walked in and we’re not greeted friendly by the staff. They seemed bothered to be interrupted by having to check us in. I reported that there was vomit at the entrance to the building and replied “we’ll take care of it”, however, no one ever went out to do so. Staff does not seem happy or as though they have a passion for what they do. Three days later we returned to pick up our pups and walking in, the smell was atrocious. We were given our Pups by staff and they wreaked of urine and feces. Again, no smiles on staff and they reported no concerns and this should always serve as a red flag for any business as employees carry the reputation of a business. This speaks to how pets are cared for or in this case lack of care. We left and 20 minutes later walked our pups only to find out they had diarrhea. 24 hours later, one of our pups was still not eating, was vomiting and continued with diarrhea. We took her to the Vet who provided two medications and an injection. When unpacking our pups items, we found their bowls filthy; disgusting, and an atrocious smelling blanket. Brought this to the attention of management. Received email back that they do not use personal food bowls and instead us their own. Really???? Did not offer to reimburse our Vet bill and did no follow up call to inquire about our Pups. Instead, just the one email without the name of manager with a canned apology and to let them know if there was any way they could help. PetSuites should have called us for a follow up not the other way around. Very disappointed with PetSuites; no integrity, no pride, poor management and no compassion for pets or pet parents. This type of service is what gives boarding a bad reputation. Will never return or recommend.

My Enzo absolutely loves PetSuites at the Airport. He is eager to get out of the car and go into the building. The staff knows him and treats him like theirs. He’s stayed for Day play and for overnight care. It’s honestly the best place to take your pet. They’ll be loved and have a blast.

Just boarded my husky here for the first time. I don't normally board my dogs but I had an event I couldn't bring her to. As a first time, of course I was nervous! The price was a bit more than I was expecting for a weekend, and I was told the bath was only $20 more (it was 63 for the bath)... but the bath is a full service bath with nail trim so I'm not going to complain. I did a classic 2 night stay with silver+ package and bath and my total (including deposit) was $205 from fri-sun. I have a super happy, smell good pupper, and I will definitely take her back!

Stella, our Beagle, wags her tail every time we approach the doors to enter PetSuites for her stay. Honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better review than that. ????

I heard good things about this place and had several references. I spoil my 6 month old puppy and wanted her to board in luxury. It was our first time boarding her for the weekend and from trying to make the reservation we had communication issues. The person I called just told me to book online. I booked her the luxury suite with extra playtimes, etc., money wasn’t an issue I just wanted her to be comfortable. When I checked her in, they told me there were no luxury rooms available and she was put in a classic suite. Fine. I asked for additional playtime package for extra attention as she has separation anxiety. I was told I could call for updates - midway through her stay I called and didn’t receive a call back for 24 hours to see how she was doing and of course she wasn’t eating. They gave her some chicken broth as an add on charge which gave her diarrhea on her blanket and bed. They gave me back the bed when I picked her up but kept her blanket to wash. Then they lost it. Not that big of a deal, but still. I asked for a tour of the facility at pickup (they were too busy at check in) and they could not let me go back for a tour… just look through the glass. The worker took a photo to show me what her room was like. Overall, too expensive for the basic boarding and poor communication. I expected better. To top it all off, it’s 1 week later and my dog has kennel cough. I called to let them know and they said many other dogs parents called to report the same thing, and good to know…. We will never board here again.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PET HERE...I have been sending my dog here until a mix-up caused by their groomer removing my dog for a bath before he was allowed to pee (this somehow cancelling his morning potty session?), resulted in him not going to the bathroom until I picked him up at 1pm. Watching my dog strain to pee and shivering caused me to phone only to find out that they had forgotten to let him out all morning! Meaning he had been holding his bladder for 15+ hours. Will not be using this service ever again and would not trust them with any pet.

They took such great care of my baby while I was out of town. Will use the services again.

They've taken care of our girl a few times now. She is always happy to go back so she must love it. I love their prices compared to other places that aren't as nice.

We have taken our pets here a couple of times and could not be more happy. The staff here is very friendly and the facilities are clean. The prices for boarding are very affordable and they do offer different discounts. We are very pleased they offer a military discount as well as multi pet discount. They also provide spa treatments, aka nail trim and bath. I really like that you can upgrade your package and get your pets play time and get photo updates while they are boarded here. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to board their pets and know that your pets will be very well taken care of.

Best place on the planet for your pets to stay.... Whether boarded, or playcare ???? for pets, its a fantastic, attentive stay where the pets are truly given individual attn & love!

Fantastic grooming and wonderful staff. My dog is always so happy to get his hair done up here and we are always pleased with the service. Thank you PetSuites!!

Had no worries leaving our 2 dogs here at all they seemed perfectly happy as they always are when we picked them up (this was their first time ever being away from us) friendly staff, clean environment, we have no family here to watch our pets for vacations so this will definitely be our go to spot!

Great Staff one minor issue

This was our first time using them and we had a great experience. Rockett our pup is only 8 months and we trusted them fully. The facility was very nice. The staffed always answered all my mom questions. They have a text service and that was helpful. Thank you guys! Will use them again.

Not sure yet I want pick Ollie my cat up til tomorrow morning from pet suites. Ok picked Ollie up staff nice but Ollie was very upset. Not sure why seemed to be sore staff had to have me to get him. Because he would not allow staff to touch him. Iam also upset that fur babies being left alone all night after 8pm also they are closed on Sunday. Who feeds them if they are closed.??

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Needed an overnight, last minute, housing for our pup. Went to two places to walk and this one is by far the best. It was the cleanest, most spacious, indoor and ironically the most affordable of them all. You will not be disappointed. Our pup had a great time and we were very thankful they had availability to have him. Definitely recommend for daycare also.

Conveniently located across from the airport. Friendly and courteous staff who dearly do love and care for your pets. Our cat has stayed here several times she loves it. They offer playtime, each pet has their own room and TV (Animal Planet) Just to say your pet is in good hands.????????????

The place is super clean and staff is friendly and warm. When i picked up my 2 babies they had just had a bath and looked happy.

The gal that answered the phone today should probably work on her customer service skills. -- I was calling to inquire about bringing our dogs there for doggie day care and possibly boarding, and I felt the lady I spoke with was short with me and not informative at all -- I even mentioned to her that a friend had referred us to them (didn't seem to matter). Without even knowing specifically what I was looking for she decided to open with "......Well we are booked this week and next week...." She didn't even ask when or what I was looking for, what types of dogs I had, nothing. She quickly spat off that there was information and forms online and what they required of the dogs before they could enter doggie day care. She seemed annoyed that she even had to take a phone call. Sorry that I'm trying to give you business and spend my well earned money on your services. Will definitely be steering clear of these guys, and looking for other options.

We are the owners of 4 dogs, and, after hearing the fantastic reviews of Pet Suites San Antonio Airport, we boarded our dogs for 4 nights here. They told us they would give our dogs an examination to see if they were eligible for "all day play" and then call us if they didn't pass. Since we didn't hear anything from Pet Suites, we assumed everything was good. Wrong! Turns out, none of our dogs passed, and they didn't bother to call us and let us know that our dogs had been locked up in fecally stained cages for 23.5 hours per day. Fecal stains, you ask? Yes, dry and wet fecal matter and bile covered our dogs upon pickup. Our dogs were trapped inside disgusting, excreta-filled cages all day, for five days straight. But that's not all! Oh no! The adventure continues thus: we had provided four beds for our dogs' use. Upon pickup, not one of them was used. They failed to keep us updated, they did not allow our dogs playtime, they did not use the supplies we provided, and they failed to keep our dogs clean. So, I urge you, if have read this far: please, for the sake of your dogs and your dignity, do not board your pets here. They will overcharge you, lie to you, mistreat your pets, and ignore your requests faster than it takes them to hose the excrement off your pets on pickup day. Before Pet Suites San Antonio Airport responds with their canned apology and request to speak personally with us about our issue, I shall make clear to them: we have spoken with Gabriella and the other vile, managerial surrogates in your employ, and do not wish to hear their excuses and rationalizations. Use the time it takes to respond to this review to go wash off your revolting dog cages.

I booked for my dog to be boarded almost a month ago. I added the Works grooming to his reservation and scheduled it to be done on Friday (8/6). I came this morning to pick him up (8/9) and have to wait an hour for him to be done with his bath since they decided to wait the very last minute to do it for some reason. Very inconvenient and annoying. Don't add any extras to your stay since they apparently can't handle it even when scheduled a month in advance.

The folks that work there are very friendly. Most importantly, my cat appeared to enjoy his stay. Didn't notice any odd behavior when I picked him up. Kudos to the staff and thank you. ????

Asked for too many vaccination papers.Decided to go with inhome care instead with Rover.com

Just dropped Misty off for her 7 day stay. Easy to get into, hard to get out of due to traffic from 410 blasting by on Frontage Rd. Folks were nice and very helpful. May update this post after I pick my baby up next week. Heads up, they the dogs to get a shot to protect them from canine flu. My vet couldn't give it for three weeks, so they had me sign a waiver.

Staff was very professional and helpful. Dogs coming in seemed excited to be back, always a good sign. I would have liked more feedback when I picked my dog up on how he did and if he played well but I will know when I go back the next visit to ask more questions. A great facility and they care about the animals.

After he stay with Pet Suites our sweet girl was happy and excited to see the kiddos we have always have pet sitters before and boarding was definitely a change for our family but we were pleasantly surprised. So much so that we plan on bringing her back regularly for puppy preschool!
