I love everything about Petco!

Usually have a great time with this store. Unfortunately the last couple of orders we have had were incomplete and we recently had to wrestle with a refund situation. All worked out in the end though ????

I took my Shih Tzu to be bathed and get her facet, feet, and fanny cleaned up. I specifically told one of the female groomers that I only wanted my shih tzu's lip line trimmed on her face because Robert was busy with a prior client and she said she would pass along the info to him. I have been growing her face and top of her head out so I. Can comb her into a ponytail. I am hairdresser. So I know there is an ugly grow stage, but Robert cut her whole face and top of the head and under her neck which was not what I wanted. So I am not sure what the groomer (wish I knew her name) I spoke to relayed to Robert. But im upset that for the past 4 months her hair growth process was cut off. So needless to say I will not go back. Robert did a good good but it was not what I asked for.

Came to this store because website, app and google said the store was open. Called a young woman answered and stated that the store closed at 8pm. There was no sign at the physical store to reflect of this was indeed the case.

Closed at 8pmeven though online said 9pm. Never have what I need always out of stock.

It is a great store.

Clean store and lots of Pet stuff....? Cats, Mice, Ferrets, snakes and other reptiles (fish too)

This place is a "No". Brought my 25 pound labradoodle for a grooming and they shaved her. They cut her ears flat across, they cut her muzzle to 2". She is also uneven everywhere. They managed to trim some of her nails...but not all. She looks like a large brown rat now. They explained that my dog did not like getting her nails trimmed. She has never had issues before. The cost for this service is shameful.

Horrible customer service The female manager on duty I don’t know her name due to no name tag The item I was looking for was out of stock I had to ask her if she can check if another location has it in stock she checked I drove all the way to the location and had NONE in stock ! If it shows one on hand it’s common sense that more likely they will be out Lack of training or just plain ignorance

Good selection of quality dog foods. My online order was processed fast and pick-up made available with ease.

Staff here is always on top of there game

I appreciate the help I got and the prices are pretty good. Quantities on the shelf were low but during this time every business is suffering from the same thing. I would take advantage of ordering online and delivering to the store unfortunately every item I need does not qualify or it cant be done. Ill be back this store has always been great with their service, definitely better than competitors.

This is the only store that has the brand of food my dog eats. They always have it in stock.

Best place to acquire all of your pet paraphernalia. I come in for the cute dog toys. Staff was also super friendly and welcoming. Plus there’s a really good looking guy at the cashier. Might ask for his number.

I only came in because the staff in the THRIVE vet, inside Petco, was so awesome! Turns out the Petco, retail side, is cool too! Great selection and super friendly staff. Thanks to a team that seems glad to be at their jobs!

Fast and easy buying online at reasonable prices. It was also a quick and easy experience to pick up my item at the store.

This location had a vet strongly urge us to schedule a surgery for our elderly husky. We did and completed the lab work ahead of time as suggested. Day of surgery, we were told he would be ready for pickup in the late afternoon. At lunch time, a different veterinarian at this location called to say it was a complicated surgery and that she thought the surgery was not necessary at all. She said it was in fact only cosmetic. When I agreed, she offered me multiple other services that were unneeded and she said he was ready. I told the vet that based on my conversation at drop off, I was heading into a meeting. She told me that of course this was fine and not to worry about it. Then she told me to pick up our husky when I had originally been told to. At pick up, I realized that we were being charged for boarding our dog. The receptionist laughed when I questioned the charges. It took speaking with four people and calling the manger who was off to remedy the situation. We have used this location for both vet and grooming services for years, but will not choose to go back in the future.

If I could give a zero, I would!! I took my puppy for grooming, I literally showed her (Carmen) a picture of how I want him to be trimmed down NOT shaved!! And we spent quite a bit of time explaining and talking about it! When I saw him all I could do is cry!! She shaved him completely down, and even the shaving is not even all over! His name is Fluffy, honestly we didn’t even recognize him!! If it’s your first time, take my comment serious if you love your puppy! I’m adding before and after so you can judge!

Took my Yorkie to get groomed. She had long hair. Groomer had instructions to only trim her hair. Groomer took it upon he/she self to cut my yorkies hair very short.

Petco (Bandera Rd. Location) has the specific dog food our puppy needs in order to maintain a good urinary system. Not even the Vet's office has the selection that Petco has. I ordered online, got notification my order was ready and I picked it up. Super easy and quick.

Location is very helpful and manager is genuine. Even though they couldn’t help the way I wanted, they helped to give me solutions.

Too many employees, too little supervision, no concept of customer service, stacked up at registers without calling for help. Surprised they are still in business

Long lines. Need to open up another register for speedy check out . Clean facility .
