I was looking for a vet for my new puppy a friend recommended this hospital and I was very happy yesterday when I took him to for his visit

I appreciate the persons that answer the phone to setup the appointment. They are pleasant and really take an interest in why we need to come in. Under covid we weren't allowed in but the assistants taking our pet in were very careful and loving My (personal) veterinarian, I can't pronounce his last name, is Dr Eric. He is very thorough. Takes the time to explain if that then this scenarios. He to me is the best. (I suppose the rest may be close seconds)????

If you care about your animal do not go here!!In the end they really couldn't help my cat. No one was sure what was wrong with her. I was disappointed there was no sort of follow up call or care. I feel the state of today's veterinarian practices is more of a cash grab, seeing how much money they can squeeze out of caring owners till a pets end. There really is no more care.

My dog was attacked by a neighbors dog due to huge negligence on the neighbors end. The entire attack could have been avoided had the neighbors taken our concerns about their dog seriously. Anyway, I walked in carrying my dog and visibly shaken up. The staff was kind, and responsive. I was very pleased with the time and care they put into my beagle. I am now a client of theirs.

I absolutely love bringing my fur babies here! They are very polite and caring.

They are usually really good at getting back to you, and I love the care that my animals got here. They did forget to give me back my cats insulin twice, but that was a bit of a fluke, and they were very apologetic. Otherwise my pets get great care and are treated very kindly and with compassion.

Had to wait over an hour to get service. However, interaction with Vet was excellent as always.

I have taken both my cats and my dog here for over 15 years! I have always had a good experience. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but the staff is always friendly and communicates. The techs and vets communicate with procedures and walk you through what’s going on. Even with tough times like when it was time for my cat to be put to sleep they communicated options, gave the family time to say goodbye and eased us through the procedure.

My son's dog ???? was treated with great care and was keep up with details on his progress. Felt like family

Jenn is the best groomer…..please don’t get rid of her

O'Connor Rd Animal Hospital gained a wonderful asset when they hired Jen! Jen is the only groomer allowed to touch my babies. Thanks Jen for the many years of love and care you've given to my pups!

Great care for our pups!

Has always taken such great loving care of all my furry family members. I love Dr Schmelzer and his staff. He is so kind and compassionate and all staff n techs carry out their job tasks with a smile!

Very expensive, but good care.

My puppy's do very well with my vet and they have great survice . They are awesome with taking the time to answer any questions I have and not trying to push thing I'm not interested in. Clean and caring, great staff as well as Dr. They're online pharmacy has great deals on meds very easy to use guarantee their medicine.

Our cat had injured himself and pulled 2 claws which were bleeding. We were able to get the bleeding to stop but he was very uncomfortable. I called O'Connor Road Animal Hospital and was able to get a quick appointment. He didn't like being in the carrier and went nutso. He ended up pulling out both of the claws on the way to the vet. They were able to clean it up, stop the bleeding, and calm him down in no time. He's now doing just fine and almost back to normal. Two weeks ago I had to take an elder cat in with kidney disease that we had to lay to rest. The compassion and care from this vet heartfelt!

I had a very good experience with both Sammy and Little Dog.

My cat Herman had hair balls in his stomach. They did not make me feel guilty although it was my fault for over feeding him. We worked on a plan together to help him lose weight and medicine to help with his nausea and getting rid of the hair balls. They even let me get extra anti nausea medicine in case it happens again. The exam and medicine were not too expensive. I felt so supported by the three staff members who worked with me. They remind me of the clinic I went to in Wisconsin before I moved here. I love my 2 cats a lot so this is important to me.

Grooming is great! Jennifer is an awesome groomer!

We finally had someone listen to us. We knew something was wrong with our office kitty. The vets listened and figured it out! Finally some relief for our kitty. Thank you for helping her, relieving her pain and communicating with us.

I took Cubby to go see Jennifer the groomer and she had him looking fabulous. From Booking the appointment with JT and checking out with front desk it was smooth and easy. Highly recommend!

They care about your pet.

Absolutely wonderful staff and amazing service, despite not meeting the vet, I know she had the best interest of my cat at heart. They were very thorough, and I appreciate them greatly!
