Saw my dog within an hour of calling them. Was only in the office for about 30-40 minutes and I was already on my way out medicine in hand! They were kind and sweet to my pet and very informative and friendly when speaking with me. It was a relief as the place I went to prior sent me away because the staff was on lunch.

Had to look for a new Veterinarian after learning that our old vet was closing their doors. A few people mentioned Northwood AH. I was impressed from the start. Super nice and friendly as they got our information about our two dogs. Price of service was reasonable and Libby (my mom-in-law's dog) was ready to come home almost to the minute of the estimated time. Check out was fast, professional, and informative as the staff made sure I understood the diagnosis. Well done to all at NAH!

Cared for my dog well but sold me an overpriced Wellness Plan that is not worth the cost. Now I can't reach them..

Very nice environment and the staff was very nice. I was very happy with how they took care of Sadie. I had questions which they took their time with me and answered. They explained that she needed a vaccination that I wasn't aware of and why she needed it. I was very happy with the care they gave Sadie....highly recommend Northwood animal hospital!

Took my dog cause she had lumps. Worried that it might be tumors. Got meds and updated rabies. So far meds working and lumps going down. Attended to me and my dog. They said my halfpit was a sweety. She is a big sweet lap dog ????

Thank you very much! Northwood is the best facility I would recommend. So when its time to take your kids For medical or grooming this is super cool.

I came to Northwood because of a recommendation about their groomer. She managed to do a great job on my 5 month old large breed puppy - who was such a wiggle worm that another groomer could not give her a haircut a week ago (and charged me anyway). She was also aware that she needed to be careful so that my puppy would not have a negative experience - since the puppy will be groomed regularly throughout her life. They were also the source of referrals for several great trainers! I'm impressed and will come back for grooming.

Havent had a pet in some time. When i finally did get a couple pups i wanted a vet that was familiar with my breed of pups (cane corsos). The vet and staff here are awesome. So helpful and friendly. My pups love them.

So incredibly happy with this vet and the team! Everyone was wonderful and I’ve never received such thorough care for my fur babies. Brought an abandoned litter of kittens and mom here for their checkups and vaccinations, but will definitely be transferring our other two cats here as well once they’re due!

After dr woods retired, the practice went downhill. They don’t seem to care about their patients, borderline negligent. The bedside manner is atrocious, giving bad news in a completely nonchalant manner.

The new location is fantastic. The dogs love the techs and vet so that's saying a lot with my picky pups. Every expense is always brought out before anything begins, with each line item accounted for so there's total transparency in the billing. If only human medical offices practiced something like this.

We loved how well our Dobermans crop came out and how well they treated our pup through the whole process. He was like family.

Dr Wood retired and sold this practice. God bless him. He was a wonderful man. The new corporate owners are not. Do not provide them with your email address or you will receive endless spam from them.

My family has been coming to Northwood for many years and we have always loved Dr Wood & his staff. Sadly, that all changed for us due to a very bad experience and I felt compelled to share it. We brought my 4 year old Yorkie in for a dental cleaning this past week. We’ve always paid between $400-500 to have this done. When I picked him up I was told he had his front 4 teeth pulled and the total bill was $845. I was astounded at the price but reluctantly paid. When we called to question the high bill we were then told Dr Wood had to pull 12 teeth. 12 teeth on a 4 year old dog! And why was I told they only pulled 4?! We were very upset, to put it mildly. We complained to the director and were told they would see what they could do regarding reimbursement and call us back the next day. Still no call back. I really hate that we have lost faith in Northwood & Dr Wood. Their prices are not only ridiculously high but we have a lack of trust now and will be taking our precious pets elsewhere. ????

I came here to get my doberman puppy's ears cropped. I saw the great reviews this place had and decided it would be worth the pricey surgery of $925 for a reputable vet. I am sadly very disappointed with this vet office, not because of the surgery but because of the lack of attention and communication. At first my fiance scheduled an appointment weeks in advance for Monday Dec 7th for a consultation. When he called to confirm the appointment they had no record of the appointment at all! They said they could squeeze us in for a consult on the following day the 8th because the doctor for ear crop isn't there on Mondays. This was a bad sign from the beginning but we decided to proceed with this vet. Every time we go it seems that they forget to tell us important details such as a medication or when the next appointment is or where specifically. They are moving offices and made our appointment for December 28th, 2020 to get our pup's ear sutures removed and ears re-posted at the new office. We received a call a week before the appointment saying they are cancelling our appointment due to COVID reasons and told us to go to their sister-clinic called Town&Country Animal Hospital at the same day and time. This made it sound like everything was taken care of/scheduled. When we asked if this had already been scheduled they said that no we need to call them ourselves. When asked if it was going to cost us anything because the suture removal and the reposting is included in the $925 price they said no it would be taken care of since it's their sister-clinic. Yesterday on the 28th we arrived at Town&Country and the service was horrendous. They said they couldn't remove the sutures because they needed proof of when the surgery was done from Northwood. They tried contacting Northwood and couldn't get ahold of anyone. I had even tried calling Northwood on the day they called me to reschedule and no answer. No way to even get ahold of them. The service in fact was not all taken care of, we were charged a fee for a technician to see our dog at T&C. This was very unprofessional that nothing had been relayed to T&C about any of the services or that the Northwood Clinic had been shut down, supposedly because of COVID. At T&C they reluctantly removed my dobbie's sutures only because we recognized the vet that did the crop was physically present in the T&C office. Also at T&C nobody was trained or willing to post my dog's ears. They posted them and within minutes the post came out completely. Overall my experience with Northwood Animal has been bad. Maybe for other services you'll have more luck! Just make sure to ask lots of questions because they do not give you all the information you need. Also good luck getting ahold of them now because nobody is answering the phone.

Northwood Animal Hospital have been taking care of our family pets for years. From routine office (some not so routine) visits, surgeries, medications, and finally sadly, saying goodbye to a loved pet........ The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I decided to get my Dobies ears cropped here at Northwood after weighing out my options. The aftercare they give for my boy is excellent and I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else for another ear cropping. At first I was just coming to Northwood for my boys ears to be reposted every week or so, but then I saw the amount of patience they have with my Koba and how HELPFUL they are with everything. So my boyfriend and I decided we should make this our permanent veterinarian office because the staff here is just wonderful. We want to give our boy the very best and that is what Northwood gives!
