About a month ago they were supposed to groom dog which takes about an hour and when I got her back after 10 minutes all that had been done was her nails were cut but I had other things to do so that weekend I messaged about my concerns. Her paw pads had not been shaved and she had not been bathed, they had not brushed her or deshedded her. When I addressed the issue I was told I didn’t make the ‘complaint’ soon enough and when I asked them to come groom my dog this weekend. The woman messaged me in a most unprofessional manner saying that due to complaints she would not be grooming my dog anymore. First of all it was one time, and I had not had any issue before then. Secondly, if every person that brings up one issue is banned from using this service they must turn away a lot of people that have used their service in the past. Third, there are too many mobile pet services in San Antonio to want to use and pay a service that doesn’t want my business.

I was quite pleased with the service. My large dog needed her nails trimmed. They had gotten quite long, so I expected it to take longer and cost more. The groomer was polite, kind to our dog and got done faster than expected. He even trimmed the hair around her nails. I will definitely use this service again.

First time client and we were very pleased with the outcome. Shared a picture of what we wanted to the groomer and she executed it flawlessly! Price was fair and they honored the appointment window. The groomer even took the time to teach us how to brush Nuggets teeth! Thank you and see you guys again when it's time .

First time client. We have an elderly pooch that has bad anxiety. Monica was gentle and calming and my dog looks awesome! Thank you so much for loving on Woody! Monica called 45 mins prior to coming just to let us know when she'd be here, which was very helpful. We will definitely be scheduling another appt soon! Thank you, Monica!

First we used them at our old house and they did an okay job. Better than I could do. Second time rolls around and I made sure they knew I had a new address they did not up date it. I have the texts to prove how many times I told them I was at a new address. Luckily the groomer texted me and was communicating well where I told her that I was not at that address right down the road. She shaved my dog too short and didn't cut her nails like they needed to be.. but again better than I could do. Last time I booked and appointment and they gave me a time between 12apm to 4 pm. And I ran to the store to get my child some food and I received one call from a unknown number. I do not answer numbers I do not recognize but keep a voicmessageing system to call numbers back that leave me messages. The groomer called and did not leave a message or text to identify who they are and never called back. They got to my house knocked once and left. to me this is extremely poor communication effort i called them back several times once I found out no one called or left a message thinking they never showed up 12 to 4 pm is a large window to wait around and never get a phone call or messaging identifying who they are.. There are several other mobile groomers who can provide much better service and communication. To me this just shows they have little value in customer service and makes me wonder of the quality they put into their work. I see no pride in their work or effort in communication and creating a good rapport with customers. I would use a different service.

We have used them before, but they messaged me saying they now charge $20 travel fee on top of the already high prices. We really did like their service, but I'm not paying $20 more.

I am extremely pleased with Happy Scrappy mobile pet grooming. Monika was the groomer that worked on my dog. She is very personable, professional and does an outstanding job. I plan to call on them the next time my dog is in need of grooming services.

Our golden doodle and mix mutt were in bad need of professional grooming. Its been hard to find a reliable mobile groomer, but Happy Scrappy came to our rescue. Both dogs done on 1.5 hour and they look awesome! The mix pup is timid from his life b4 adoption and sensitive to strangers. Dogs were.content and relaxed in your groomer's care.❤️????❤️

Not sure who the male is who works as a groomer, but he is the rudest and most arrogant person there is. We have had a young lady visit 3 different times and groomed both dogs with out any issues and now my dogs are blacked ball by this guy one visit. If you decide to use this company do not let him near your babies.

Wow!! Monica did an EXCELLENT job on my two special babies. I have tried numerous groomers and nobody could do my Yeti’s head or feet until today!! I have finally found the one! Plus, the van is cute and QUIET , unlike some other mobile groomers that you can hear the generator down the block. I highly recommend! By the way we have one 75 lb dog and one 7lb dog.

Poor customer service. Upfront: I am not speaking about their work on my dog as they did not show up to the scheduled appointment. I feel that customer service speaks VOLUMES on any company. I do not expect any company to run perfectly. Mistakes happen. There are miscommunications, technology/scheduling errors, etc. I am forgiving of that. However, when you do not work to correct the error that was made on your end and find a way to "make it right" with the customer and instead, reply to negative reviews by placing the blame or excuses back on the customer, I stay far away from that business. Again, I know that mistakes will happen. If I am a lifelong customer of any business, it is not because "they never make a mistake." It is because, "they treat their customers right", and that includes correcting a mistake and making it right. You did not show up for your scheduled appointment. Instead, I gave up chunk of my weekend to stay home during the 3 hour window that you stated you would show up in. You did not show. I reached out (I did appreciate the quick response on a weekend and your apology.) You offered to reschedule within two days (I also appreciated that). However, no offer to compensate for your mistake. In going back and reading other reviews, it is obvious that you do not work to make it right with any unhappy customer. Maybe your dog groomers are great and do excellent work. I don't know, and likely won't have the chance to know. I do know, however, that you don't strive for customer satisfaction when it means admitting fault and making corrections.

I have a sweet little timid yorkie who was looking like a mess until Monica came to our rescue. I must say, my hopes weren’t high, as my sweet boy has shied away from any “stranger” groomers and was terribly scared by clippers. Monica was able to work her magic and make my boy look amazing. Me and my boy couldn’t be happier! Thanks y’all!

Very professional mobile grommet.came out and grommed my pet in a fast and safe manner. Great service that would recommend to others. Will never go back to places like petsmart ever again .

They first did not do what I wanted, which was a trim not a shave down completely to my dog. To top it off they injured her by cutting her when they shaved her.

Probably the worst grooming service in SA stay away and save your money!! Owner will probably call this a fake review a long with every one of the several other bad reviews but read all reviews carefully.. these people do not care about you or your pet they are aggressive and seem to rush their work which looks to harm the poor dogs.. so many injured dogs on Yelp .. is the same aggressive man everyone mentions grooming all these dogs? Spare your dogs safety and go to Woof Gang or Happy Hounds... they will not mistreat your dog and will appreciate your business.. thank me later Edit.. wow this is no Mr./Mrs Rangel... my last name is Johnston as stated..I was interested in switching to a mobile service as it seemed like something convenient.. but seeing as this is how you treat your clients all I had to do was read reviews to realize this was not the business to go with for me. I guess when you react to your customers and potential customers in the horribly unprofessional manner that these people do you can see how it affects your business. You must have me confused with an actual customer of yours that you have delivered poor service too. Lol “public” if you’re reading this I am not a poorly treated customer seeking revenge on this business I was an actual potential paying customer that is trying to bring awareness to how horrible this business as they are making accusations against me in their review replies.. all people have to do is read how you people respond to your reviews.. clearly have no regards to how you treat your clients or how you make your business look. Sad. Also a real business owner would know google does not let owners alter, change, or remove reviews.. neither does Yelp.. the truth lives people give it up!

Our first time with Happy Scrappy Mobile Pet Grooming Services was great! Demon was awesome and did an amazing job with our German Shepherd. She looks and smells great, the best grooming appointment she’s ever had!! Shea is a rescue dog and shy, Demon did great with her. We are definitely using Happy Scrappy for our go to grooming services. Thank You for taking such great care of our fur baby!

Says “here’s our dates/times, which works best for you?” I give them my selection, they say “sorry we can’t accept appointments for large dogs at this time.” Should’ve led with that. Unimpressed. 4/5 star average must be for the chihuahua owners. Embarassing.
