My little Shih Tzu was poked in the eye while rough housing with my other Shih Tzu. Her eye was watery and swollen, my concern was that she had a serious eye injury. I first called an urgent pet clinic near me and they were indifferent and a bit inconsiderate. I found Night Watch while researching other urgent pet facilities, they were not near my house but decided to take my baby there. They treated my fur baby with love and they were gentle with her (and with me), they were very, very nice and understood my concerns and didn’t make me feel like my fur baby “was just a dog”. They explained everything to us and the price was extremely reasonable. I hope I won’t need to bring my babies in to any urgent care clinic but if I do, I will make the drive to Night Watch. They are simply phenomenal!! Thank you for taking care of my little Sophia!!!

Even when busy they were efficient and thorough. Great staff too- very kind. Worried bc I had never heard of this place and now I’m glad they were accepting patients when no one else was. Highly recommend when an unfortunate pet emergency arises. Brandi is doing good!

We were impressed with this after hours vet clinic. The wait was not that long and staff were efficient. The final cost was very reasonable (emergency vet clinics aren’t cheap).

The staff at night watch were amazing, the wait was short ~30-40 min, they explained every step of the way and gave me estimates and financial resources for all cost. They were amazing... unfortunately, they couldn't save my River, but they worked really hard to give him the best possible outcome. They were compassionate and sincere, and i thank them for doing all they could and giving him peace at the end. ❤

This was the only place accepting patients at the time I needed to take my dog in. They were so nice on the phone & in person. My dog ended up needing surgery. They took care of it that night & I got my dog back early next morning. They are so awesome. I definitely recommend them if needing their services with your pets!

My two dogs were recently attacked by loose dog in the neighborhood. He punctured one of my dogs. Night Watch was quick, responsive, and very supportive. The doctor was calm in his report and next steps. It is hard to know how much it would have cost at other emergency rooms, but based on past experiences with other dogs, Night Watch seemed to be very reasonable in pricing. It is nice to know there is a go-to spot if anything happens to my dogs!

I brought Benny in three weeks ago to be euthanized I still have not received his ashes from his cremation. Update: Picked up Benny's ashes today. Name was misspelled, urn was wrong color and missing name plate, included paw print that we did not order. Horrible customer service. Been on hold 20 minutes to find out what happened.

Amazing ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ No words can express how relieved I was upon calling and arriving to this ER .. We had to leave ALLURE after waiting 6 hrs to be seen and asked how much we were willing to spend or how much money we had because it was stated " MONEY IS THE ISSUE HERE BECAUSE WE WANT OUR PAYMENT !" after we paid for the exams and test they still called expecting$3000 .... unbelievable!! NIGHT WATCH UNDERSTOOD CHIQUITA WAS OUR DAUGHTER NOT OUR PET !! They took her in immediately and treated her with love us with compassion and we were on our way home in no time !! I would give 100 ???????? plus ⭐s if I could !!! God bless you all and thank you all for helping us with our baby !!! Night watch staff are truly a blessing !!! We are so very thankful with a heavy heart to you all GREAT JOB GUYS AND THANK YOU TURNING OUR NIGHT AND HOPES AROUND AFTER A BAD START !!! KEEP UP GOOD WORK !!!!

Took my Sammy last month and it was the best decision I ever made. They not only were so kind and compassionate, but the vet was so funny too! He did such a great job explaining what was going on and made sure I was comfortable with the price before proceeding. I will also say they are adorable as well, the bill was what I expected due to the nature of my dogs problem. I will 100% recommend and return if need be, I’m so glad I went with my gut and brought my Sammy here. They made him feel so much better and treated him as if he was their own pet.

Awful experience here. Brought my kitten who had just gotten fixed and was having complications. Staff was incredibly slow and overall insensitive. Each time I needed to sign an estimate and treatment plan, it took 40 mins for them to come out to the car with it, then one of the techs had the audacity to snap back and tell me that they were the ones waiting on me after I asked if they were triaging and if any treatment had been done. Long story short, my baby went into cardiac arrest and passed away; the vet admitted that they didn’t triage properly and didn’t run diagnostics as soon as they should have. So he sat for hours with just a blanket and fluids when he needed so much more. To make matters worse, when I went inside after he was gone to say goodbye, they slapped the $1800 figure on the corner of the sheet for me to choose an urn as a nice reminder of how much I had to pay after their negligence.

The best care, loving workers who really express their love for animals and sympathy for owners. They work with your budget, explain everything and work to get your fur babies taken care of quickly and efficiently. Really felt like they genuinely care. Extremely happy that we came across them. Porkchop sends his love and thanks as well as my husband & myself. ????????????

I came home from work yesterday (Friday) to find my almost 14 year old dachshund, Morpheus, with a swollen snout. I suspected an abscessed tooth so I called Night Watch. Jessica was very friendly and helpful on the phone, I got him checked in online and headed to the clinic. He was taken in and examined much faster than I anticipated based on current shortages in the veterinary profession. Dr. Manning called me to discuss his treatment and while discussing Morph’s medical history, I told him he had bladder stones that we recently discovered that needed to come out. Understanding that anesthesia multiple times at his age isn’t ideal, Dr. Manning offered to resolve both the tooth abscess and the bladder stones at the same time. While it was certainly not how I expected to spend my Friday evening/weekend, I am so grateful that Morpheus was able to be treated and is recovering from both health issues. I am beyond impressed with the level of care, compassion and communication that I received from everyone at Night Watch. I have used many emergency/speciality services over the years and this was one of my best experiences. Thank you to Miguel for taking a little extra time to talk with me this morning and ease my mind at the end of a long night. While I hope not to have a lot of emergency needs in the future, if the situation should arise I will certainly be returning to Night Watch as well as recommending them to my other pet loving friends.

English and Spanish below: I found a 4 month old kitty and took her in just so they could rob me. They didn't do ANYTHING to her and WITHOUT telling me the COSTS BEFOREHAND they put an IV catheter for $55, plus $8 to throw it away because they didn't use it and $80 for "checking" her and tell me that she won't survive another 45 minutes and to euthanize her. Unfortunately I am no bank to pay for anything you charge without notifying me first. They came out and gave me 2 options. #1 pay almost $1000 to check her throughly because the $80 that I paid were not enough and they still had no idea what she had (even when I told them she had just been trapped in the sun all day) and gave her no more than 45 minutes to live OR #2 pay almost $300 to kill her. At the end they just offered an IV bag for another $55. I took her home and 24 hours later she's getting better NOT thanks to them. Sad that these people are unreliable and just there for the money. They don't care for the animals! SAVE PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY AND DON'T GO THERE! **If you feel bad because I said you don't care about the animals imagine how I felt when you told me that either way she would most likely die within 45 min. FYI she is very much alive and happy now!

I'm so grateful for everyone there. They were all very knowledgeable and made a very vulnerable and hard situation much easier. I had to go to a previous emergency vet, and they overcharged, didn't explain what was going on, and I was in the dark and scared for my pet the whole experience. At Night Watch, Samantha was calling to me give check ins and cost estimates of treatment, Dr. Manning gave me a thorough rundown of the tests, their purpose, and whether it was actually needed or something that would be really helpful just to know. They're patient with difficult decisions, and really have your pet's best interest at heart. They're transparent with their pricing and practice and treat everyone with respect and understanding. I hope no one needs an emergency vet, but if you do - come here. You'll be in good hands.

I am absolutely and so incredibly grateful for this Animal Hospital! My fur babies were so sick vomiting and with uncontrollable diarrhea! It was a nightmare and was so very stressful and emotional for me. I went to 3 other “emergency facilities” that turned me down due to lack of staff or not accepting walk-ins. I felt hopeless as this was my last stop and 20 miles away from home. My first encounter was with a tech Miguel and he just had so much compassion and knowledge about my babies. He calmed me down and gave me peace of mind. I thought my babies we’re dying as there was bloody stools and vomit. He assured me that we will figure out what’s going on and they were also short staffed but didn’t turn me down. They let me know upfront about the wait. The staff was friendly and the facility is clean. Thank you is just not enough to the weight they took off my shoulders . Prices are VERY REASONABLE , it’s care over cost here. I will never go anywhere else for my babies urgent care. Thank you thank you thank you! <3 Be expecting some cookies this Friday! Love love!

I love night watch! My sweet baby belle was suffering this past Friday after wearing a hartz flea collar. She was declining in health within an hour of having it on and I knew I needed to get her help immediately. Every vet in my area was at 10+ hours of wait time, night watch got my belle in within 2 hours! They took care of her and made her feel all better, I will forever be grateful for them for saving my girls life.

They are a professional and caring group. They were able to save my dog after it poisoned itself eating a mushroom from the last rain. I definitely recommend going here if you have a pet emergency.

For some reason, Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital was closed last night and our dog was having an allergic reaction to a bite (not sure what it was). They referred us to Night Watch. The staff was extremely attentive and the veterinarian took his time to ensure all of our questions were answered. Today, our dog is just about back to normal and the swelling has subsided. I highly recommend Night Watch!

Oh my goodness I don’t even know where to start. Our furry baby had a heat stroke a few weeks ago which then caused his liver and kidneys to begin failing. We were then informed that he needed a few blood transfusions. When we took him to Night Watch, they immediately took him in and the entire staff there went above and beyond to take care of him. When we initially took him in he was taking a turn for the worse but they stepped in right away. We just can’t thank them enough for providing our furry baby with the absolute best care in all of San Antonio TX. We most definitely would recommend this vet to anyone we come in contact with. It is just extremely hard to find that type of care when it comes to your furry babies. Our animals truly do become our family and we are just behind thankful, grateful and blessed for the care that Night Watch provided. Thanks to Night Watch and their amazing staff, our Grumpy is doing much better.

We brought our 1 yr old labradoodle. Excellent care, Excellent staff. You can tell they really care for the animals and not just want to charge you for service. They gave us options to choose from and recommend even non medication alternatives. We drove across town for this place and no matter the distance, we will be back. I highly recommend them!

This "elite" emergency center does not triage their patients. If you have a life threatening emergency, you will want to avoid this place! It was going to be an hour before they would even look at our dog who was showing all signs of a GVD, twisted stomach. That is unacceptable!

I took my dog here after calling about 10 other "emergency" hospitals only to be told everywhere was full and not taking in any pets. I showed up about 30 min before this place opened and my dog was the 2nd one to be seen. They came to get him shortly after opening! I can't express my gratitude enough for Night Watch. I would of been so worried if I couldn't of gotten my dog in that day. The staff was SUPER nice and Dr. Manning would call and give me updates. Dr. Manning is very personable and you can tell he has so much experience. I felt like I was talking to a family friend whenever he called. The staff would call about treatment and payment plans and make sure you gave the okay on everything, they also will work with your budget!! Prices are reasonable taking into account this is an emergency hospital. My dog is doing a million times better thanks to Night Watch! I don't hope to ever have to come back to this hospital but in the event, I will be coming here again. Thanks everyone!!
