You don't want your dog dead or hurt!!! They Lost our trust!!!!!!! PLEASE READ I have an older dog with a serious yet treatable condition. We made an action medical plan with Dr. LILI and they disregarded it WITHOUT CALLING ABOUT THE CHANGE. Our senior dog received a serious shot that would make it very difficult to walk, the action plan was: he would get his first vaccine he stay the night and then pick him up next day: and in 30 days he would get another vaccine and the stay another night and then 24 hours later he would get another and then stay again to be observed. After starting the process he received his first shot and stayed the night and my husband picked him up next day and at that time he was told that he had received a second vaccine. He came home and conveyed what he was told. It was so upsetting to both of us that they did not follow the medical plan we had discussed. Dr. Lilis' approved stand-in veterinarian without consulting us, chose to go out of our agreed medical plan and took our senior dog and gave him another shot. I had signed paperwork that I do not want them to move forward on anything aside from any pre-plan we worked out prior to any actions. We were to be called prior to ANY changes. They did not call either of us to discuss any new recommendations. After all this our senior dog has not recovered and struggles with walking and seems to be ill. After we communicated that we were so upset with what they had done, we brought up getting money back to take him elsewhere to get treatment wasn't done the way we were told. We were told after telling them we wanted our money back they didn't communicate and did not get approval from us his owners that the third shot had not been included in the large price we had paid after discussing the medical plan of the 3 part vaccinations, as well as apparently it was a discounted plan even though that had not been discussed either so we received nothing back. We are so upset by this that we will never take our 2 dogs to them. This veterinarian office lost our trust!!! I'm so upset and hope none of you go through an experience like we have at any veterinarian office. I will continue to share our terrible experience until I feel others really know what that do behind their closed doors everytime they take your dog and put them at risk. They have to be held accountable for their wrong choices! So by writing this I hope it helps hold them accountable and make huge changes. Also a side note: you wait so so so so long to get into you appointments. My husband waited well over and hour to just pick up our dog from the back.

Love Lili Vet! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. If I have an emergency they don’t hesitate to get Hank in right away! Dr. Okafor and her staff always takes extra care to make sure Hank is healthy and happy! We’ve been coming here since Hank was a puppy and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have so many great things to say about this vet clinic. Firstly; I was panicked and needed emergency services because my pet was very ill after getting them from the ADL, and they took us in last minute and provided the best care and saved my baby! We continued going there since for all her regular care and they’ve been just amazing. They’re also affordable. Rest assured your animals can be trusted in their hands, whether it’s for vet care, routine, grooming etc. wish I could take them with me when we move ????

I highly recommend DR OKAFOR at LILI Veterinary Hospital. I’ve been going to her for 3 years. The staff is incredibly helpful, but most importantly they care! MANDI who is now the office manager deserves great praise! She follows through and will help you with all your needs! NICK is the best tech I’ve known! DR OKOFOR is compassionate! She will take the time to listen and will do the very best for your pet. I’m a bit shocked at some of the negative reviews. People you get what you pay for in life! You need not question quality over price! If your pet is not worth that then don’t have one! It’s that simple. But if you want a vet or staff who cares go to Lili Vet!!!!!

Todays visit earns Zero Stars. I have been faithfully visiting lily vet for several years with my three pets needs. Today’s appointment was a follow up for one of my dogs. Nothing significant, foot bandage removal, checking foot status for infection and get some annual booster shots. We sat in the lobby 25 minutes past the start time for my pets appointment waiting to be placed into a staging room. While there we watched other pets get placed into rooms for their appointments; for people who arrived after we did. There were also open clean rooms available. When I finally inquired about our status the front desk personnel said that today is Saturday and they are busy. They are short on techs and my appointment did not require us to see a vet, only a tech was required to help us. Personally I found the comments to be insulting and dismissive. From every visit I’ve ever had at the vet I’ve always been seen by a tech prior to the visit from the vet - as a protocol for patient prep. The fact that we were never informed or communicated with while ultimately being placed aside from being seen because our visit would only require tech support says volumes about customer service. By the way, I was returning to the clinic that day by request from Dr O herself so she could unwrap bandages and see my dogs condition. It’s all very unfortunate. My dogs condition is worse and he needs to see a vet but I’m extremely hesitant to return to Lily Vet because of situations like I shared above. This is not my first episode of poor service.

My Frijolita has a character of her own. Every veterinary clinic I take her to, they ‘flag’ her file. The staff and Dr. Okafor at Lili VeterinaryHospital treat her with respect and care which makes her feel comfortable and trusting of the staff. Her experiences there have been positive, relaxing and enjoyable as all the staff makes sure to greet her. I recommend this hospital with the utmost highest star. Kudos !

I got my pup from animal defense league and a few days later she was showing symptoms of parvo. Lili vet hospital and staff worked FAST to make sure we handled this very aggressively to ensure survival! They SAVED my puppy!! She is happy and healthy and thriving today thanks to their intervention

Worst vet experience ever. I took my puppy there for a possible UTI examination, the urinalysis was 130, DOUBLE the price of anywhere else. While they also recommended an x-ray exam for 200 at the very beginning, the puppy is less than 10 weeks, the risk of bladder stone is super low since we just had her wellness check.  I rejected. ALSO, they prescribed the most expensive antibio, which is not even a standard medicine for UTI!! so my puppy DID NOT get anywhere better after 250 dollars spent! There was no followup call at all. I have to call back and they just told me to bring her in and they will run another 130 dollar urine analysis plus antibio. All these happened in less than 5 days!! I have to go to another vet for a 2nd opinion. Don't bring your pet here, they just want money.

Excellent care and honest pricing! Took good care of our cat when she had kidney stones that needed removal and genuinely care about the pets they see daily.

They were very respectful and very caring for my pet cat. All the staff is very professional. An over all great trustworthy place.

I absolutely do not recommend them. They sutured my puppy’s paw twice and when we came for a follow up they tried to charge me for the visit after I was told at the last visit there would be no charge. They then left my pup with a gaping open wound on her paw because they removed her bandage and wanted to charge me another $50 to re-wrap her paw. Sutures were left hanging from her paw. They do not care for pet’s well-being, they only care about getting paid. This is after I have already paid them close to $1000 to take care of her injury. The sutures were not done well and are still not holding. We will be looking into reviews to find a vet that actually deserves our money and cares for the well-being of our pets.

Dr. Okafor and her staff are very helpful and patient. They were so compassionate when helping our senior pup cross the rainbow bridge. Now that we have a puppy, they’ve handled all of her youthful energy and issues very well.

I really love this vet. The place is clean. The staff is friendly. I like that they don't try to push services on me. They really care and are so great with the animals.

LILI Vetenary is the best in San Antonio. We have been through hell with our cat and were all ready to give up. I found out about them and they were able to diagnose my cats stones no problem. There are no words for how much this place means to me.

Great care in an efficiently run office.

Dr. Hamad has gone above and beyond what is expected of a veterinarian! My dog was experiencing an urgent health issue a couple of days ago and we felt very fortunate to be in Dr. Hamad’s care. Not only was he very professional and thorough, he was also extremely kind and able to put me at ease during a time that was very difficult for me emotionally. I really appreciated his patience and the time he took to answer all of my questions. I left feeling very confident that his treatment plan was the best option for my dog. Yesterday, I’ve already started to notice that my dog is responding positively to the meds! Will be going back in a week for a follow up appointment with him. I would also like to thank and highlight the other team members of Lili Vet Hospital who made our experience comforting in my time of distress. Nick, the lead technician was also there to assist during our visit. He was very caring and knowledgeable with excellent communication skills. His genuine concern made me feel like we were in this together. Miranda at the front desk was extremely kind and made checking in and out a breeze. I could go on and on about how great they all are. Bottom line, if you’re looking for veterinary hospital that is honest, knowledgeable and compassionate -Go see Dr. Hamad and staff!

Dr. Okafor and her entire staff are wonderful! They are very knowledgeable and extremely compassionate. We recently visited this practice with our elderly dog. The news was not good and we made the hardest decision ever. Dr. Okafor took extra time with us and talked us through the options. We were never rushed to make a decision. When we returned to say goodbye to our sweet Buddy, again, everyone was amazing! I believe any pet would be lucky to have Dr. Okafor.

I will never use this hospital or this vet ever again. We took our dog there on two different occasions, the second time the medication we were given seemed to fix the problem and we were told when we needed a refill to just call. I called …

my parents had taken my dog to the vet because he had a bad leg.. they had given him some medication and said to call and let them know when he needed a re fill.. we left multiple messages and they never returned any of them.. the final message left, they said they had to wait until the weekend was over and that the doctor would be in on Monday, and they said they would call us back. over the course of the weekend, my dogs condition got worse because he didn’t have his medication.. it got so bad that he was chewing on his leg, and it had swollen up so bad that he couldn’t walk on it anymore.. it had gotten so bad that we had to put him down because he was suffering and in so much pain, and there was no way we could possibly save his leg, he had practically chewed it off at this point.. I feel the negligence of Lili to return phone calls played a big part in the passing of my sweet dog... we will never be coming back here again, I refuse to bring any of my sweet animals here and have them suffer the way my dog did.. I’m very heart broken.

Once again I’m very pleased with this vet. I have worked with my big ol’ baby jack and he has never liked going to the vet. He met Mel and it was love at first cookie for him. Thank you Mel for being patient and calm with Jack. He’s just a big baby and needs a little extra love and cookies when it comes to anything medical with him.

A waste of time and money. Waited 3 hours and paid $800 for them to tell me "We don't know what's wrong with your cat" they claimed to be better than the last place I went to but just charged more for the same results.

I personally love this vet office! Dr. O is amazing with our bulldogs and doesn’t push unnecessary treatments on us. What I am not happy about is every time I refer someone to to this office and they call to make an appointment, the person answering the phones has been extremely rude to them. I understand new patient appointments take some time but I have had several friends call to get their animals in and have been told it would be months to get in or the woman answering the phone was so rude, the decided this office wasn’t for them. It stinks that they have lost business over the attitude of the front office staff. If it hadn’t been for that, I would have given them 5 stars.

They helped me so much emotionally and did everything they could with my cat’s emergency, the staff are super sweet and have a great clean facility ❤️
