Have used Lauren from Homey Hounds on several occasions and she has always done a great job with the pets and has helped take care of little things we while we were gone (put our dog gate up on the stairs we forgot to do and water the plants on the back porch). Would definitely recommend.

HIGHLY recommend Homey Hounds. We have used them more than a handful of times and each time I was overly impressed with the service and dedication AND love they have shown to my fur babies. I trust NO one else to take care of them when I am away.

We have been using Lauren and homey hounds pet sitters for almost two years. They are very responsible and dependable. Lauren always responds promptly and always lets me know if there are any concerns with our dogs while we are away. We always receive pictures and updates while we are on vacation. Our dogs are part of our family and when we have to leave them at home it's nice to know we are leaving them with someone we trust.

My experience with Homey Hounds is amazing. The pet sitters really take the time to get to know your pet and their surroundings. For the consultation visit usually the primary and the backup sitter will both come over to meet your animal. You will rest assured knowing that if something happened to your primary sitter the back up sitter will know just what to do. Along with meeting your pet and getting some play time and cuddles in the sitters are extremely thorough in learning where food water and all the necessities are and take great notes on just how you and your pet like things. They even will open your blinds, turn lights on and off and water plants for you. I got pictures and updates daily and felt at peace knowing my pet was happy, healthy, and cared for. This is way less stress on the animal rather than kenneling. I came home to a very content and happy animal. No stress is involved :) I would highly recommend Homey Hounds and their wonderful staff to anyone!

We really appreciate the services that Lauren and her team provide. It is stressful for our animals when we leave home for any period of time, but they handle it much better when we are able to leave them in their familiar surroundings. We enjoy the messages and photos that we receive while we're gone. I have also appreciated the convenience and the support beyond pet sitting. I like having the mail collected, the security of having someone at the house routinely, the smell of a litter box that is cleaned while I am gone and the ease of not hauling my animals to and from a boarding facility.

Homey Hounds is amazing. We don't have any family here and are new to the area so it was hard to find someone to trust watching our family members, but the minute that Lauren entered our home I knew she would be the right caregiver and she has proven me right. We are at complete ease now when we leave town or are just out for the day that our two dogs are well cared for and that we have the best pet sitter in San Antonio!

I started using HHPS in the Spring of this year when I had a sudden business trip come up. Lauren was responsive quick and kept me posted the entire time she was visiting and/or staying the night. She is often available for daily visits when I am in a bind or in a pinch. The dogs love her and I am completely comfortable having her stay the night. This is way better than kennel and the dogs are definitely more at ease.

Lauren and Homey Hounds were recommended to me by a coworker that had a neighbor that had used the services in the past. After checking out the website, I was thrilled that this was truly a professional service. I called Lauren and left a voicemail to which she promptly responded. We set an appointment for her to meet my four legged baby and myself. We discussed the specifics required and the rest is history. Lauren sees my baby 3-4 times a week and has been my saving grace with my crazy work schedule. I come home to a pup that is always happy to see me and I truly trust Lauren to take the best care of him. I would highly recommend Homey Hounds for any pet needs. Homey Hounds was my life safer over the holidays! They came to check on our dogs during Christmas (and Christmas day for no extra charge!!). They even came 2 extra days at the last minute because we were stuck out of town and couldn't get back. The price was incredible as well. We have 3 dogs and the price we paid for them to check on our dogs for a week was the same as about 2 days at a kennel. We will definitely be using them in the future!

Lauren is great and you can tell she loves her job. We used this service for the first time a few weeks ago over a 4 day weekend. Lauren was very professional, she came over prior to us leaving to get all of the detailed instructions needed, food, medicine, etc... I recently relocated to San Antonio and was in search of someone to look out for my dogs out when I was working long hours. I was so thankful to find Lauren with Homey Hounds. I am very selective over who I entrust with caring for my dogs but when I met Lauren the first time it was evident that I was leaving my dogs in the best care possible. She works as a professional and she is knowledgeable about animals and clearly loves them too. And best of all, my dogs LOVED her. She goes above and beyond what is required of her so I have peace of mind about my dogs while I'm away and best of all my dogs are happier when I come home!

We used Homey Hounds for the first time this summer and are so pleased for the discovery. We called Lauren to see if she was available to dog and fish sit for us a few days before we headed to China for a week, she was very professional and super nice and we felt really comfortable with her. BEST PET SITTER I HAVE EVER HAD!!! We used Homey Hounds for the first time a few weeks ago. We treat our 3 dogs as if they are our children, so leaving them with someone else is always a little stressful. However, Homey Hounds came highly recommended, so I called and spoke to the owner Lauren. She was very professional and asked great questions about my pets and their individual/ medical needs. We opted for the overnight service, that way our babies could still sleep in their own beds and have their own toys. We were gone for 3 nights and 4 days. Lauren was so great about keeping us worry free with text updates and pics. I even hopped onto Facebook while we were gone and there they were...all smiles...I'm not even sure they missed us. When we came back they were just as we left them. We made our way around the house to check for potty accidents or chewed up shoes from boredom, but there was nothing to be found. They had food and water in all of their bowls and the house was exactly as we had left it.
