So the vet here is not going to make you feel all warm and fuzzy about your pet, necessarily. Is that what a vet is supposed to do? I want my vet to be experienced, knowledgeable, able to prescribe the best course of action for my pet. That's what you get at Brandos: consummate professionalism. Love her.

My 19 yr old Sasha was so sick and ready to pass over The Rainbow Bridge. Thank you to Brandos Animal Hospital and All Paws for excellent and compassionate service.

I requested several times to sent a detailed invoice of the services for my two pets. I did not receive it, and they were not specifics about the charges. Also, my pets got a vaccine that was not notified. Lack of miscommunication is a major issue. I’m very disappointed with their service and they charged me 400.00 for two nights.

Excellent care and very nice clinic. Great prices. Five star vet hospital! Geordie was treated for ear infection and dental care. She is doing fine!

The vet does not explain anything and she is very rude. The first time I experienced this I thought she was just having a bad day but I’ve gone several times since and she is not friendly at all. I will not be coming back. Time for a new vet.

Dr. Defex and the staff working with her are amazing! They all help keep my little girl stay in top notch shape. I always feel at home and have consistently received amazing service at Brando's.

seems like they hire anybody off the street lately all usual staff is gone I thinkthey were always very nice and welcoming so employees are never consistent or have any interactive customer service skills now they're kinda just there and make clients feel awkward like it's not really a clinic they just take your pet but don't say much to you or ask anything like 99 percent of other assistants do vet seems to do all the talking even at that it's vague. Also I feel in regards of tcurrenthe staff they don't have professional knowledge in this field so I'm gonna look into another vet

Great people and friendly atmosphere. Very clean environment inside and out where the animals go to play or do their business! LOL! The one issue is road construction on DeZavala Rd.!! Check your HEB receipt for coupons! I found one to Brandos, 3 great offers!!

Do not take your pet here. The staff is rude. The female Veterinarian is worse. They over charge for unnecessary procedures. They do not care.

we took my dog and they didn’t even see him more than 8 minutes before they “ diagnosed him” she didn’t even give the infection a name . They charged us 340$ for vitamins and anti “bacterial medication “ he didn’t get any better they clearly overcharged and the vet didn’t seem like she really knew much vs the other veterinarian I know go to :)

Very rude. Not friendly at all. Doctor had no eye contact what so ever. They took my dog from my husband while I was filling out paperwork and took her in a exam room with the door shut. They failed to explain that I couldn't go into the room with her when I tried to ask questions they were very rude. I tried going to differnt vet to see if there was a better one, a more convenient one but Im definitely going back to texas veterinary hospital I'd rather drive the extra miles then come back here.

After my babies veterinarian retired, we were on the hunt for a new one. Brandos came recommended because that was who my grandmother/uncle had used for years when they were in the original location off West Avenue like back in the 90’s. (they weren’t aware it had changed hands) Despite also being recommended Affordable Pet Care on Basse and Deerfield Animal Hospital (should have listened) I decided to go to Brandos due to new location and because when I originally called to make the appointment, I was told that they would price match the heartworm medication to Chewy. Thought, great! So an appointment we scheduled. The appointment went like this, took dog from me and into the room they went and closed the door behind me. Came out and not once did the Vet never made eye contact with me. She was void of any personality!! She refused to match the heartworm medication to chewy despite being told that. Fine, then I asked if she would discount the heartworm test a bit if I bought a years worth of heartworm medication from her (prior vet would at times do this or would call into H‑E‑B) she flat out said no. So I paid the bill. I was told that if H‑E‑B called in for the refill for the flea medication Simparica that they would approve it. Then was told no because they RX Bravecto. Since I alternate between the two, I had H‑E‑B call in the refill for Bravecto. Got a call from the office originally telling me that they were not going to approve it after all because they couldn’t confirm that H‑E‑B was an approved vendor. So they price matched to the manufacture cost. Bought the medication from them as my dog needed it. H‑E‑B had forgotten to stop the request so last week the office called me again and now I was told, the vet wouldn’t approve the refill from H‑E‑B because the medication was too cheap. So no longer was it about making sure H‑E‑B was an approved vendor it was now about the price H‑E‑B sold it for. How about stop caring about the cost of what other platforms have it for and practice for your patients. Making sure that even if they can’t get the medications from the office because hey guess what there are people who have been laid off and are trying to still maintain the care of their animals and just call the medications in to other platforms such as Chewy or H‑E‑B. They would have kept my business had they just called into chewy at least but since it’s all about profit, I’ll go where the number one concern is the animal. My business will be taken to either Affordable Pet Care on Basse or Deerfield Animal Clinic at Blanco/Bitters where both will send RXs to chewy or price match to them and Affordable Pet Care will call rxs into H‑E‑B.

My dog of 13 years was very sick with a broken jaw and arthritis which left my dog just writhing in pain towards the last days. Made an appointment and was there in a couple of hours. Even though it was very traumatizing the staff made the process very smooth and was very considerate to my emotions in regards to deciding to euthanize my beloved dog. Would definitely recommend to someone with pet needs.
