Doctors are informative, thoughtful, knowledgable, and kind. Dr. Kyle Crowley has been our vet for many years now and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been extremely satisfied with him. Some of the front desk employees could be reminded to be more efficient and thoughtful when it comes to interacting with clients.

New to the area and when the vet I had started service with, as our little fur baby’s go-to vet, refused to see her in a time of urgent concern, Acres North did not hesitate to welcome her in, same day. Acres North is a well-structured operation with many caring and knowledgeable individuals. I am grateful to have found a reliable trustworthy new go-to vet. On a side note, I have been to a few vets in the last decade, and Acre’s prices are very fair and right in line with my last favorite vet who charged cheaper prices on many services, but did not skimp on recommending the treatments that would lead to the best possible outcome.

Waiting area is small. Wish they had digital ways or interface to manage pet care.

Acres North Animal Hospital is awesome, the staff to the doctors take great care of your animal. If they don't have the answer they will go the extra mile. The vet has called to follow-up with me after they have closed that shows their dedication to the animals health

My sweet pitbull Luca is 7 years old. We found some odd concerning warts on her belly that Dr. Crowley suggested might be a form of skin cancer. Dr. Crowley immediately addressed the issue, ordered labs and pathology, rapidly arranged for surgical removal, and was aggressive about removing as many of the warts as possible. She had several, so mid-procedure, Dr. Crowley took them all off, even though it meant a nasty zippy surgical scar. We are now about two months post-op and Luca is doing great. Her pathology returned normal results. Her scar healed beautifully. I am so thankful for his aggressive approach to her surgery. Dr. Crowley educated me about the risk of skin cancer in dogs and cautioned me to use baby sunscreen on Luca. If you ever find yourself facing a health crisis with your beloved dog companion, I suggest you connect to Dr. Crowley. His calming and compassionate guidance was so helpful. Luca and I are very grateful to Dr. Crowley and his staff! God bless you, Dr. Crowley.

Today was a very sad day for us. We had to make a very difficult decision to put our Angus to sleep. I want to thank Jeremy, the young lady he was training and Dr. Jones for your compassionate hearts. From the moment we arrived Jeremy took such great care of Angus and us. Young man thank you, you were amazing. You have the heart and who we all need in times like these. You were a blessing and helped us along all the way through this tough time. The young lady you were training, I’m sorry I did not get her name, she was so so sweet too. You took such good care of our boy and us. You’re going to be perfect, your animal patients will love you. Both of you have such caring hearts. Dr Jones thank you for your honesty and kind compassion. You are an excellent veterinarian. Sometimes we just need your help to help us make a difficult decision. You were gentle and so caring. Thank you all again for your kind, loving hearts. I’m certain Angus will know how well he was loved by us and you all in his last moments. God bless you all ???? — Jeff and Denise Talbot

Been going here 8 years now for all 5 of my babies. My only request is if you go here stay away from Dr. Maclean. Worthless. Doesn’t explain anything, shotguns diagnosis, and is never wrong or concerned. I will actually wait days if needed to not have an appointment with her. Either than that I will always come back. Great doctors! Well most of them. Edit. Went back for another appt. 6-26-21. Once again got the wack, Maclean. And once again couldn’t do a fecal float. Think she is 4-0 for me. Wants to have surgery on my buddy to see if he has a heart issue. 800$. Well are you sure? Said there could be a problem. Will be calling to make sure this doctor is never allowed to see any of my babies. Don’t need drama and once again, more shotgunning of diagnosis with no assurance.

So far. I like this vet. Most of my interactions have been over the phone, but everyone has been friendly.

I have an elderly dog who has separation anxiety and does not like loud noises. We moved here to SA and because of that I had to find a new vet after 15 yrs with the same vet. Dr. Tomasini at listened to me when previous vets here in San Antonio wouldn't about what worked, what did not, and what we had already tried. He explains everything to you and listens. Great vet!!

Staff is rude, on the phone and in person. Consistently, every time I’ve called and or come in. You can hear the sighing when asking questions. And I had to wear a mask, outside, just while dropping off. I was told—rudely— they couldn’t even talk to me outside without a mask. They love to do extra tests and treatments too, this is clearly a business operation to maximize profit. Will not be coming back.

Kind, knowledgeable, and understanding staff - and our furbabies love them most too! They have taken care of all of our regular checkup needs, emergency issues, and boarding. Highly recommend.
