Dr. Stephanie is the absolute sweetest! She treated me and my fur baby with professionalism and she was so gentle as well. Even the technician that helped us did a price check and went through all the vaccinations and asked if I wanted to do them, instad of just taking my dog to the back and giving him whatever, like some clinics do. Dr. Stephanie KNEW HER STUFF, my dog ended up having an ear infection and she knew exactly what was going on, cleaned out his ears for me, I expressed that he doesn't like things in his ears, and she even offered to do the first pump of the ear medication for me! Dr. Stephanie was so wonderful that she's made my dogs (and me) a forever patient!

Dr a Josh isn't seeing animals anymore, he's supervising the vet in the clinic. Dr Kirsten has moved to far away to see her. It's begun run like a production line now with higher prices than other bets with more experience.

Easy to get an appointment, office staff is top notch, the vets are great! Time is taken when there is a problem, portal online to check your pet's records, its a busy office but very caring.

My dog injured her neck last night and they worked her in first thing this morning and took great care of her. I've always had such a great experience with this practice, from the front office to the vets. I would highly recommend them.

This place is amazing, I don’t even know where to start. We had an emergency with our dog and went to our vet that we’ve been going to for years only to hear that they won’t see us because they’re booked for the day. We called multiple vets and Premier Vet was the only one that would see us very last minute. As soon as we went in it was already a much better experience. Way cleaner than our old vet and front desk employees were amazing, great attitudes. Very thankful to Dr. Troy, he actually listened to our concerns and our dog is doing so much better. Definitely moving my other two dogs and two cats here to Premier Vet.

In response to owner. No! I never made an appointment. At all. I called for pricing and the lady whom answered was so rude and short. Not to mention your clinic pricing $400 over what my primary quoted me and they referred me to y’all! And when I ask what y’all did special to make get those numbers, she simply said “idk sir. That’s just how much we charge”. When I proceeded to ask if that included pre-surgical and post-op care, she again responded “uhhhh I believe so”. What!? Get off your high horse and research who you respond to before making false claims of me having made an appointment and not showing up. Besides, you cant possibly know that-not having my phone number, the name of my pet etc.... Had your staff been nicer and answered my questions in an appropriate manner I would’ve gladly taken my pet to you, until then, continue to expect to loose business.

Worst customer service ever. young girl behind the desk is rude and Dr. Josh also only cares about money and not the well being of the pets. There are a couple of nice people here but overall, they operate wiht poor customer service. If you care about how you and your fur baby are treated then STAY AWAY FROM PREMIER VET CARE.

The veterinarians have always seemed gentle and caring with our pets, even though the veterinarians here have not always agreed with each other about our pets' needs. They had disagreed about the treatment for our asthmatic cat, but through trial and error I think they had finally found a good treatment plan for him. We had continued to bring our cat and dog here because they did seem to care. We have tried multiple times to rectify the names on our pets accounts with them. Sometimes they email me and sometimes they email him. For most people who are married this is probably not a big deal, but as both of us are divorced it causes huge problems. At one time they gave me a login to a pet portal online that only has my name, our address, my email address, and my phone number, and both pets' names and all of their previous appointment dates. This last issue with the names was while I was trying to get an expensive prescription filled for our asthmatic cat. I always order and pay for the cat's asthma inhalers. I uploaded Premier's prescription to my account with the pharmacist online. The pharmacist called to say there was an issue because my name was not on the prescription. So, once again, I was calling Premier Vet to get the whole name thing fixed so we could get the prescription for the cat. The first receptionist who took my call seemed to help me (but I accidentally disconnected when trying to answer the pharmacist again). Then the 2nd receptionist asked for 'the last name' on the account and became very quiet and less forthcoming when I told her there where 2 last names. I asked her if she wanted mine or his. She then accused the pharmacist of wrong-doing by even filling our prescription that was written by one of their own veterinarians. She said she did not see my name anywhere on the account for our cat and that she was 'making an exception' in approving the prescription refill over the phone with the pharmacist because she did not see my name on the account. She said that in order to add my name that she would need to speak to 'the actual account holder', who happened to be in a meeting at the time. Talking to her made me feel less than unimportant...it made me feel like I was under suspicion. And when I vented about having to pay for all of these visits and medications and being treated this way there was zero empathy from her. 'The account holder' (who doesn't pay the vet bills or prescriptions or even pet food for that matter) called them back when his meeting concluded and then spoke to the first receptionist I had accidentally disconnected with. She then told 'the account holder' that I had tried to remove his name entirely, even though the last thing I had said to her was to leave him as a secondary before trying to place her on hold to talk to the pharmacist. I guess my venting about paying for everything for the pets and him paying for nothing equated to - 'take his name off.' He told her we had tried to rectify this whole name thing several times, and asked her to list my name as primary and himself as secondary. He also tried to talk to her about the 2nd receptionist's accusatory demeanor. She apologized for any 'misunderstanding', but defended the receptionist's behavior, saying that she is 'good at her job and knows what she is doing'. I guess being good at your job means getting the person who actually pays for pet care to look for veterinary care elsewhere. Because I really couldn't see myself going back and paying them yet again only to continue to be treated like a stranger every time I call them.

They provide a excellent care to the fosters for Friends of Rowlett Animals. Their staff is always willing to explain how to address any issues a foster may be having.

Really disappointed in this place this morning. Called ahead as we entered the parking lot (normal). No one answered, so we left a message as instructed. We sat and watched others being serviced for 30 minutes. I finally knocked on the door and reported my displeasure at the wait. We were told we did not check in as required. I responded that, yes indeed, we had, and had left a message. "Well, we don't check our messages", was the reply. "So, if you'll wait a while longer, we'll try and fit you in". By then, I was more than a little upset, so I told them I planned to leave. "Well, we'll have to charge you as a "No Show"". Beyond mad by then. We'll find another vet that's more responsive.

Dr Josh, Dr Troy and Dr Kirsten, as well as the rest of staff at Premier b are all more amazing than words can truly express.( Dr Anna was terrific too!) Meagan(previous office manager and so gentle and sweet), Meredith (an angel on Earth, LOVE her!),Linda(one of the kindest people ever), Dee(a true sweetheart),Ms Dianne (so compassionate, she cried with me when I had to return a rescue dog (of a week) because another rescue ( of a yr) we have started to revert),Ms Savannah ( always makes the time to listen to whatever you have to say so patiently and sweet)as well as ALL the the others just make you feel as though you are not just a chart number, they make you feel as though you are their ONLY patient and part of their family. We(my husband and I)rescued a young Chocolate Lab girl about 18 months ago and having her in our house for just a few days,we realized that EVERYTHING we were told was not actually the truth. She had no emotions, VERY aggressive not only to humans but other animals as well and we were almost at the end of our rope. Dr Josh and I talked and talked and came up with a game plan together for her. Today, she is 360° different. She has personality, she has manners and she is SUPER loving and friendly, a totally different dog, thanks to Dr Josh,Dr Troy and A WHOLE lot of patience on mine and my husband's part. Being a 'people' Nurse for 34 years, I have worked with MANY physicians and wish even half of them had the kindness, trust, knowledge, compassion, patience and positive outlook that this entire office exhibits!!! I can assure you that this World would be a much happier, better place to live in. As long as I have furbabies I will NEVER go anywhere else. I actually even stop by with treats now and then when my dogs aren't with me to express my utter and total appreciation just for them being them. If you care about your animals and want the best for them, please do not take them anywhere else other than Premier Vet Care, you will not regret it.
