Our pupster loves going to Shady Acres. Everyone is super friendly and helpful whenever I have questions. I like that we can check-in on Archie throughout the day via the cameras and always see him having fun. The online system is nice so I can easily schedule daycare dates. I do hope all day play is an option for us to consider in the future although the frequent playtime with some breaks is working well for Archie. He’s always excited to hop in the car first thing in the morning to see both his human and furry friends. We certainly appreciate everyone!!!

Been taking my dogs since we adopted a couple of years ago. We average a week several times a year. They love it. Also, and this so adorable, they give you a report card. I love that and it to my friends and family. They also have grooming. I have them bathe my dogs on the last day. The staff is very friendly and are genuinely interested in the dogs. They don’t have a lot of turn over, so when we drop them off our dogs recognize the staff. I feel totally secure about their well-being and happiness. UPDATE: Sadly one of our dogs, Bear, got hit by a car and passed away. Riley took it really hard. About a week later we traveled and left Riley with them. I felt terrible about it, but they sent me photos of doing fine. I very much appreciated their thoughtfulness. We’ve boarded him many times since. They always send report cards and photos.

My dog looked like he loved every bit of it. And that's saying alot considering he is very shy to people. But when I picked him up he was licking this care taker witch was a unexpected surprise. And the best part was he even got acquainted to some of the other dogs witch was even more wonderful. It was amazing 5 stars.

I am well pleased with Shady Acres. I have a German Shorthaired Pointer and he has been attending Shady Acres for over 4 years now. I can’t imagine my dog to be in better hands. He is well taken care of. He started there with just grooming and then eventually Daycare. And now we even Board him there. He gets well groomed here, he loves Daycare! They wear him out with play which is what we love about Shady Acres. Our dog is a High Energy dog so, they help us out with that. Shady Acres love my doggy and he loves them. I am one of those dog moms that absolutely refuses to leave her dog with just anyone. So, I like that when I drop my dog off here, I am leaving him with a team of people who cares, who love him and will treat him well. Thank you Shady Acres for all that you do! Thank you for your dedication to our Prince.

So grateful for every part of my experience with Shady Acres. They do an incredible job grooming my labradoodle, but, more than that, they are kind people who somehow manage to be great with animals AND people! They are always very responsive and give great customer service.

Love this place! Cheyenne did a wonderful job answering my many questions on the front end!! Dash was completely exhausted Sunday evening after a couple days with the gang at SAPR!

Today was Hope’s first visit with Fur Kids, they were fast, professional and very caring towards her. She readily went behind the scenes to get her new doo and she looks phenomenal with her little gremlin ears. Will be using again! Thank you!

The staff was nice and answered all my questions. However you cannot go on the property due to COVID-19 so you can't see the play years or kennels. They advertise having 3 acres but from pictures it looks like the play yards don't allow for very much use of that area because they have so many fences. My dog did fine but I'm needing a place that has more space for my dog to run around

The only place we can take Lilly and she doesn't shake. Any place that treats my baby like theirs is a keeper! Definitely order the bath before you pick up your dog, they have way too much fun here.

I am a long-time customer that will be looking for another place to use for daycare and boarding. Something has changed at SA. Customer service used to be spot on. Now approvals take days (not hours) and sometimes I've already arrived only to be told that they are full. You can imagine how much stress that adds before a long day at work. Great people but the level of service has dropped off, therefor so am I. Good luck, I hope this gets corrected.

No one wants to leave their dog, but these people make it easier. The best in the area.

Staff care about my pooch. He is always happy to go there. Love how they give a report card with how his day went whether it was good or he needed corrections.

I've been boarding my dog with Shady Acres for several years now. And now a second dog as well. You could go as far as saying I'm a regular customer, and with more travel now required in my job, frequency of boarding has also increased. However I will no longer be using Shady Acres after this previous weekend's boarding experience. Unfortunately we had a rush emergency trip and needed some help getting Poncho to the facility. A friend was helping us so we could get on our way as needed, and unfortunately things were a bit disorganized on our part, and Shady Acres was not very helpful. We had tried numerous times to contact Shady Acres early that morning before our friend arrived, but could never get a live person on the phone and could only leave a voicemail to which apparently they never bothered to listen. When we finally did connect on the phone, it was with an interrogation of questions; the same questions we answer every time we drop him off. Which leads me to believe they take zero notes on your animals. I can't imagine that is true though in this day and age, and would think a very simple question for a regular customer might be, "Have there been any changes in your pet's diet, conditions, or medications?" Nonetheless I answered all questions. When I returned from our trip I discovered an email that was sent from a Danielle who stated I told her my dog was on an organic diet; not true. She further stated that no one provided food for my dog upon drop off. I can't verify that perfectly since I was not handling the drop off, but rather a friend was. However I know we gave that friend the separated bags of food along with some dog treats, and I know that I was never charged for food on the backend receipt, and I also received back the same bag we packed the food in with his dinner portion uneaten yet. So he apparently DID have food provided by us, as always. But the primary reason I will never be boarding my pets with Shady Acres is the hostility and attitude of said email to me. It contained false statements, along with a threat that they will no longer board my dog as I don't answer the phone when they call to provide answers to questions they already asked me, but didn't bother to listen or take notes. It was stated in said email that I was called on Friday, September 24th to get answers to the questions she already asked me Thursday morning but didn't listen to, yet I cannot find a single missed phone call from Shady Acres on Friday nor a voicemail. If this is who is caring for my dog, I have zero faith he is actually being cared for. Best of luck Shady Acres. You just lost a long time customer.

Our pup has been going to Shady Acres for occasional boarding and doggy day care for a few years. I mention the sporadic nature because it’s not like she is there EVERY day - Even still, the whole staff at Shady Acres knows her by sight and they treat us all like family! They love what they do and it shows!

My three dogs were boarded here over the weekend and all three seemed to have a blast! I have a Chorkie who is afraid of everything and I was worried he’d be nervous when I picked him up, but he was actually in such a great mood. I also worried about my pittie who can have some selective aggressions towards other dogs especially female. I assumed they’d not let her play with other dogs but she was able to socialize in a small group. I am so thankful for that! The trio are now currently sleeping off a very fun weekend. I highly recommend shady acres!

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They truly love dogs and give feedback on how my dog is doing. Coco enjoys her visits and is learning to socialize with other dogs. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that I could not access the web cams. I know they are updating them. Not sure if the problem was on their end or mine.
