Petco Round Rock, Texas

Went here because I wanted to sign my dog up for dog training classes. I had called prior to speak to Ashlynn. She seemed to be very nice, told me she’d leave a note for me to sign up, as I don’t get out of work until 7 and she said she wouldn’t be there after a certain time. I ended up forgetting to stop by Thursday and dropped by tonight to try and sign up and was spoken to very rudely by a red head. The red head made it seem like since I wasn’t there Thursday and she said “ashlynn left one of her classes expecting me to be there” I couldn’t sign up. I told her, “ashlynn said she’d leave a note and that you guys would help me because she said she wouldn’t be here after that time” and the red head was so rude and un caring. I’m so shocked at how I was treated. I have an hour drive to work an 8 hour work day and another hour drive home, my dog comes to work with me and it was a long day. I didn’t mean to forget to show up Thursday after 7 so the fact I was treated this way just makes me so sad. And the red head said in a rude tone “Do you want me to get the manager?” After trying to make it into an argument. She could have just said, “would you be able to come back another day to sign up?” This is so cruel and I can’t believe the customer service I received. My dog really just needs a dog trainer and I really thought after talking to Ashlynn on the phone it seemed like a good fit.

People are nice and same whit the staff. Great store

Very friendly staff and very clean and covid aware. And y'all be nice to the people who are working there please! They are short staffed like everywhere else. Appreciate what they do!

Ash is an AWESOME trainer and had done amazing things with our trauma suffering dog. She is a gift.

This particular Petco felt erie, like a ghost town with too much stuff laying around. Maybe they had just received inventory, I don't know. I had to hunt down an associate to ask them a question, and she had no idea of the product I was seeking. Plain and simple grain free wet dog food for small dogs.

If your looking for good pet food and a hufe varity of other things for your pets this is the place to come !

Called twice to see if they had something restocked yet. First time they answered but placed the phone on the counter. (I could hear talking in the background) Second time, they told me they don't carry it at all. (???)

Do not take your dog to get groomed here! We took our dog in for his usual grooming (haircut, nail trim) and he was anxious when we dropped him off, which isn't normal. He usually loves people and is super friendly. His appointment took much longer than normal, and I got a VM saying he wouldn't let them trim his nails and that he had a wound on his back paw. He's never been weird w/people touching his paws before, and he has had this groomer before. I spend a lot of time w/him, he didn't have this wound before. It was a perfect, raw circle taken out of his back paw. When he got home, I touched it, and blood came off. It wasn't an old wound, it was new. They lied and did not take accountability. The groomer was Sebnem. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PUP HERE.

Very easy and convenient. Had exactly what I needed.

Love their grooming staff and the fact that they have a separate entrance to grooming. The grooming staff is always kind to our dog. We've brought our dog here a few times door a nail trim and file.

Such friendly staff. Everyone always makes me feel so welcome.

We go for crickets and they had plenty. Good size ones without any parasites.

Good selection of dog foods and accessories.

Helpful staff. Small but great store.

They single handedly were the reason my friends snake died. Petco bought a snake from California and it was shipped to their store without a heating pad, which made the snake very sick. When my friend went to go buy the snake, he asked them if the snake had been eating. Even though the snake was unable to eat because of how sick it was, they said yes, the snake had been eating. My friend took the snake home and tried to feed it and when it didn’t eat, he took it to Petco and had them check the snake out. He repeatedly called Petco and asked them how the snake was and they firstly told him that they didn’t have his number (even though he had given it to them) and the second time, they told him that the snake had died. They obviously weren’t even planning on telling my friend. This Petco is awful and has no respect for its animals nor it’s customers. If i could give them 0 stars, I would

Better fish section than other big box pet stores, but not as many small animal supplies as other stores, in my opinion.

Store manager could care less that she has Outdated sale signs on the floor that have covered expiration dates. (False advertising) Dog food isles were flooded with over stocked of product could barely walk with more then a few Tripping hazards. Told me I had to download app to get discount then decided it was expired. ????

Looked up something online then went into the actual store and it was almost 3 times as much money. So I bought it online from the store I was at and took my item to the the cashier. I told her what was up and why and she was cool and said it was a common occurrence and helped process the order through the system and get me on my way!

Low inventory last week. Hope it is temporary.

Every staff member is MORE THAN HAPPY to help you with anything you need and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you find whatever you're looking for! Honest and really nice employees 100%! ,????
