Our 18 month old puppy likes this place and gets tired by playing with his friends all day. Easy sign up, referral program, flexible reservations make it easy to schedule. Web cams are a big plus as we can check in on him whenever we feel like.

We have kenneled our dog here multiple times, and we have never had any issues. Our dog tends to play hard and come home tired.

I've brought my dog for daycare and boarding for several years. The staff is friendly and great with the dogs. My dog is always excited to go so I know it's a good place. I've actually got my dog boarded there this weekend!

Best kennel in town. They always take such good care of our two dogs. The dogs are happy to go and almost sad to come home. They have Webcam so you can check in on your pup and see how much fun they have playing with the other dogs.

Took my dogs in for a 10 day board. Due to various disasters they wound up staying 28 days. Michael was great, able to contact as needed and couldn't have been more relieved that they were in a safe place.

I dropped my dog off here for about 5 days and she really loved it! They were offering a great special at the time and it was very affordable. The only downside was that the dogs are locked for around 12 hours at night with no supervision, so i was worried about my dog having to go to the bathroom, but it was not too big of an issue.

We recently started taking our four dogs to Hip Hounds for boarding and occasional daycare and have been so incredibly happy with them! At previous boarding places, I always worried about my dogs not getting enough play time but at Hip Hounds I know they are playing almost all day long which they love! Being able to check in on them on the webcams is big plus too. My dogs have always come home happy and tired. Michael and staff are always friendly and welcoming. They also make it super easy to book our dogs stay. We highly recommend Hip Hounds!

My dog enjoys hip hounds! Michael and staff do a great job offering affordable day care options at a great value. We can drop our dog off before work and scoop him up in time for dinner after his busy day playing. They offer web cams to check up on your pup through out the day which is always a nice perk to see how they’re getting along. We keep coming back and hope to continue to do so.

This place is our pet's home away from home. From doggy-daycare to boarding for vacations and family events, this place is the only place we ever use. Michael is great and knows our pets by name when they enter which gives you a serious sense of appreciation and trust that your fur babies are in caring and capable hands. This is his favorite part of the day! We love watching him play with others on the webcams. He really loves the owner and you can tell who his favorite friends are during the day. He loves it so much we started taking him every day!

My dog Jax has been going to day care at Hip Hounds for 5 years. We both love Hip Hounds. When I work from home Jax thinks I am here to entertain him and wants more attention than I can give him while working. And when I am in the office, of course he is bored at home alone. I take him to day care at Hip Hounds a few days a week to work off his energy and save my sanity. Hip Hounds has a fantastic day care setup with both indoor and outdoor play areas. Indoors is heated/cooled as needed and dogs can go in and out as they please. Michael and his staff are great dog people. If you need some place to board your dogs or just want them to leave you alone and burn off their energy, give Hip Hounds boarding or day care a try.

Pretty dope spot. It took me a while to commit to a place and after tons of research I landed on Hip Hounds. First and foremost, they don't do rotations of the pups. They roam and play ALL DAY.. minus a 2 hour mediation period in the middle of the day. My spoiled brat of a son hates kennels and I didn't want him cooped up while seeing/hearing other dogs play. Literally.. what would be the point of taking him? I could just put "playing puppies" on YouTube and torture him -- for free -- that way. Secondly, the staff is caring! They know their clients and greet 'em as such. They also provide baths for an extra charge and.. my gawd if that isn't perk amongst perks. Very reasonable pricing along with webcams to check in all day. Couldn't ask for a better place to have My Heart play.

My dog has been going here for over 10 years. They have always been good to her and they are always are first choice when leaving our dog when we go out of town for a few days.

I couldn't imagine boarding my dog anyplace else.

This is the best dog daycare we've been to!! We moved out of TX 6 months ago and we talk about how much we miss Hip Hounds at least a couple times a month ???? Pflugerville and Austin folks, take advantage of this place while you can!

I have reviewed this place before and I will review it a hundred times over! I could not recommend this place more. The people here are so nice and the webcams always make me feel so much better about leaving my babies. I love their sense of humor and how charming everything they do is. Most importantly, my dogs LOVE this place. By the time we turn onto the road, they start to notice where they are going and they cannot contain their excitement nor could they get inside fast enough. They’re almost always too excited to say goodbye to me! My dogs cling to me for everything and usually when we board them, they stand in between my legs and look up at me like I’m about to abandon them. But not here. My dogs love this place just as much as my husband and I do. Please take your dogs here!!!!!! They are phenomenal and you will fall in love with them and so will your dogs!!! ❤️

Absolutely ADORE hip hounds. It's so nice to be able to just think "Dog, you're acting CRAZY today" and drop her off almost any time of day. She plays hard, while being constantly supervised. If you're wondering what it's like, just go to the website and watch the webcams. They're open to the public to see, so you get a really good idea of what your dog will be doing all day. Mine is one of the rowdiest of the rowdy group and she's always happy to go!! (I go to other crate and rotate type places, too because I don't want her playing HARD every day... but it sure is fun for her once a week or so! and you can't beat the pricing!)

My neighbors always bring their dog here whenever they go out of town and swore by it. …
