Dr. Lee is one of the hardest working and most compassionate veterinarians I have been able to work with. When none fo the other shelters in the area or veterinarians in the area could help us with providing medical care to some stray cats in our neighborhood, he stepped up and helped us. He is genuine and his staff is wonderful. The hospital is clean and impressive. We are so lucky to have found this veterinary practice!

My service dog had to have surgery today, staff was very caring, gentle, and comforted me when he had to go back. This clinic was amazing. South 40 Vet, you rock. Thank you

Absolutely top notch service! Dr. Richards is a loving, caring, and extremely friendly vet. Everyone at South 40 is wonderful. It is clean, reasonably priced, and they do care about your pet. I would recommend them 100%.

Dr. Lee helped our family come to the most difficult decision a pet owner can make in a professional, candid manner. He doesn't just do the technical part of his job well, his "bedside" manner is unlike any vet I have ever met and he puts a personal touch on his services. He and his staff were so warm and accommodating and made us feel very comfortable. We will be taking our other dog to his clinic without a doubt. I HIGHLY recommend South 40.

Dr. Lee was wonderful in an emergency and we will continue going to him. Our tiny puppy ate a very poisonous flower on Sunday morning. I called our regular vet and another vet for guidance/assistance but was unable to get through to anyone due to the day and time. In contrast, Dr. Lee answered the phone immediately and offered guidance via the phone and offered to meet me at his office even though they were not officially open. He and his staff were amazingly kind and helpful. All turned out fine for our puppy and then he did a full check up and I also found out that he had two types of intestinal worms (I even got to see them on the microscope!), despite having a very recent check up at another vet. The facility is brand new, very clean and set up in a way that you can be more involved in your animal's care than other vets that I've gone to. Highly recommend!

So frustrated by this place! Booked it over a month in advance when I saw a promo online. Their kennels are already super expensive for not much space (compared to competitors) but I figured with the promo and a camera it would be worth the extra cost. When booking they told me that they require the flu vaccine (which many vets don't routinely give or carry, including A&M) so my only option would be to get it from them. I agreed because she quoted the vaccine as being around $40. I paid a deposit to hold the reservation. Fast forward about 2 weeks and I receive a letter in the mail from them saying I have an outstanding balance. I figured it was a mistake because his visit hadn't even happened yet. A week later I get a voicemail reminding me about my balance. Again, the visit had not happened yet so I ignored it. The day of the visit I called to ask about drop off/pick up times because it occurred to me that no one had gone over that with me. I then find out that I would have to pick up before 11am in order to avoid another night's stay. We would not be able to do that due to being out of town, so now their already expensive boarding cost is doubled. She then goes on to tell me that he can't just get the flu vaccine there but there are also exam fees (understandable but also not relayed to me originally).. By the end of the call she had quoted me $298 for ONE NIGHT at their facility. This is over $200 more than Waggie Pet Zone where he usually stays so I cancelled the reservation. But, go figure, they would have to keep $25 of my deposit because of the late cancellation. You know, the cancellation I made because they were not transparent when they originally booked it. Super disappointed in this new business.

We have been to South40 twice in the past week with a puppy with diarrhea. The entire staff has been friendly, very professional and thorough. Unlike our previous vet, we have been allowed to be with our pet throughout the entire visit, which is very reassuring for both us and the puppy. In addition, we have seen the same vet on each visit, which we think is important for continuity of care. We feel that South40 has provided passionate care, which is what we want for the newest member of our family.

I can not sing their praises enough ! We had a true emergency and Dr. Lee came to the house and then Dr. Richards with Dr. Lee met me late that evening at their hospital! They saved our Keeper. They are hard-working, ethical, honest and have phenomenal communication skills... truly outstanding professionals. We had several days of overnights , touch and go but I was kept in the loop the entire time. Well Done South 40!
