Dr. Ray is amazing! He has helped 3 of my animals and it didn't break the bank. Super friendly too. This is my permanent vet for now on.

It's not easy finding an affordable place to trust wholeheartedly with you pets but I'll make it easy on you, Dogwood Animal Clinic is the place. They are competitive in price with the major franchises yet have been able to maintain the title of hometown favorite. They made me feel comfortable through the sweet goodbye of our beloved 15 year old Boston Terrier, I wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you to the entire staff at Dogwood Animal Clinic for staying true to the roots that founded the original practice nearly 50 years ago.

Inept, unethical, and dishonest - these are kindest terms I can use to summarize our experience with this facility. So, run (don't walk) away as fast as you can. Sorry this is a little long... but this place just screwed up so bad, it's obscene. We had a very sick 7 year old miniature pit mix named "Roo". She suffered a seizure on a Sunday evening, so we called Dogwood first thing Monday morning (7/19/21). They were very accommodating and allowed us to bring her right in. They whisked her away and said the vet would call us as soon as she could. Unfortunately, there was another couple in the office facing a similar situation. They too had a very sick dog. Here's where things went really wrong. THEY MIXED OUR DOGS UP. They thought our dog was the other couples' and vice versa. Throughout the day my wife was in communication with Dr. Riddick many times. We authorized x-rays and other treatments for a dog that wasn't ours. We were told that "our" dog had medical issues and would need prescription medication costing $100+/mo. for the few months that she had left to live. Needless to say we were surprised and devastated. Finally they called and said we could come pick her up and take her home. We arrived, called the number, and they said they would be right out. WE WAITED FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. Finally Stephanie Betancourt hobbled out. Stephanie is the "practice manager". She began to explain what happened - dogs mixed up and that our dog hadn't really even been examined yet. She was very apologetic. Then Dr. Ray came out to apologize some more (stall?). Dr. Riddick then came out to talk. By the end of the day, they voided the ~$427 charge for the treatment (for the dog that wasn't ours). But then, I was a little taken aback when they wanted to charge $169 for this GIANT dumpster fire - but I was like whatever - we get our dog back, she's not dead, and we get to go home. By 7/31/21, Roo had become progressively worse. Not wanting to chance a repeat of the last debacle @ Dogwood. We opted to go to another Vet. We contacted Dogwood and requested a copy of the blood work (which we paid for on 7/21). The receptionist said she would email. Never received. Vista Vet on A.W. Grimes requested it several times that day. Dogwood then disavowed ANY KNOWLEDGE or RECORD of Roo and REFUSED to cooperate with Vista Vet. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT DOGWOOD RAN BLOOD WORK ON ROO. This is why they would not send Vista Vet or me copies of the blood work. Knowing Dogwood took this stance, I disputed the charge with my CC company. All of the sudden Dogwood can produce all sorts of receipts regarding that day. NONE of them were given to me at the time of service. The signature they provided the CC company - NOT MINE. They never emailed me a copy of the invoice. They claim I signed via their "clover device" - not true. The invoice emailed to me has a picture of the wrong dog! (see attached) I also received a copy of this scathing letter that Ms. Betancourt sent my CC company. Saying "The attempt at a chargeback from this cardholder is just obscene." and "The cardholder is attempting to get 100% free services". Obscene. Really. After everything your office did wrong, you consider my action obscene? Unfortunately, Roo did pass away on 8/2/21. Had Dr. Riddick listened to my wife and not rushed Roo's exam, perhaps she would have suffered less. TO DOGWOOD: please don't respond with one of your insincere "We are so sorry to hear that" fill-in-the-blank canned responses. They are simply the worst.

Been there twice and loved it, Staff are very friendly and the service was great.

They always treat me and my dog right. The staff is always friendly and their cost is always reasonable.

Dr. Riddick is awesome. She's my favorite vet yet. ???? They're reasonably priced and don't charge for unnecessary things like some vets do. I love it here and so do my fur babies.

I do really enjoy Dogwood! The doctor is so sweet and nice. They aren't perfect but are definitely willing to fix it if something happens. And it was a minor issue. I thought that didn't exist anymore. Most places seem to blame you when they screw up. Like the guy turning into my lane without looking and screaming and flipping me off for minding my own business in my own lane. That's how it's been feeling at most companies lately. Anyway, I feel safer bringing my babies here than elsewhere. I feel listened to here. They also are big picture people. This was the fourth place I had taken my cat for an issue and in asking and talking with me they were able to help her! Finally! And they are reasonably priced! I can actually get my pets treated here because every single visit isn't going to be a mortgage payment or the price of a small car! I was even able to get surgery for my dog very close to what I've paid several times for just checkups!

They did so good with my husky, Luke yesterday, even though he had his husky behavior turned onto 100. And they even remembered treating my sweet German shepherd last year when she had cancer before she passed. They are really good people and just really great with animals. I'll always use this vet.

The vets, techs and staff are very friendly and helpful every time we go. They know our critters by name.

I have never experienced so much passion and empathy any office these people really care about your pets and about you. The Vet actually call me and talk to me as my beloved Corgi was passing away ???? I was and still am so hurt over my dog passing, but I will Never, Never forget the love and strength shown by this staff especially the Vet. ????????????Thank you all❤❤❤ V and Jasmine ????

I maintaining being a customer for a while one aspect I will say is that it has shifted some since new owner took possession of it. Less inclined to work with you on big vet bills less understanding as they use to even if you were a loyal customer that constantly reimbursed them. Furthermore, one of my earlier stop to them a year ago, for my older dog was giving too much flea medication and still is retaining dilemmas never plays anywhere just for the most part just lays around even though they claim it wasn't then even though the first person I spoke with said it might have been actually. The dog never had previously dilemma before that. Be cautious if your dog has even means of liver issues or is old or small. Be aware of this.

Best vet clinic I’ve ever been to! Kind staff, always helpful and willing to answer any questions about my pet. Never pushy for any extra services or overly alarmist. Wonderful place to take your pet - so glad I found them!
