I have 3 experiences with Daylily and all were bad. First time I went to get one of my pups some shots. Had an appointment but still waited over an hour. (1st world problem so gave them another shot) 2nd time I took my other pup for 1 shot and they gave him that shot and a Bordetella shot that was not asked for and had ordered heartworm test that was also not asked for. We have a primary vet but we came to support local business and get discounted vaccine. Today I woke to my pup yelping because his dew claw had broke and was bleeding. Took him to Daylily because it was Saturday and primary vet closed. My wife was upset and crying because her furbaby was in distress. They took him back and brought him out a couple minutes later and said he is stable, so she needs to wait her turn. Then a few minutes later the manager told her 2 techs in back were in tears because of her and they would not treat our dog. Completely unacceptable.

I have been there 3 different times. The first time was for two vaccines and came out with $150 bills because they tacked on all these other things. Same thing happened 2nd visit. Came in for one vaccine. Told them I just need the one …

I've always been treated with professionalism and courtesy at Daylily. They've kept my dog Shisha in good health since day 1. I love that they're close to home, and they always do their best to work around my busy schedule and get me the earliest appointments when I need them. Very happy with their service all around 10/10!

My 3 dogs will now be going to this vet. My boxer had a hematoma on his ear that got infected, they saw me as a walk in on Christmas Eve. Very fair priced and amazing with my older boxer.

The staff at daylilly are always professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They always follow up the next day with a courtesy call to check on your pet. I have 5 dogs and would not take any of them anywhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised by Daylily! I will 100% be coming back here. My dog was having mild stomach issues and we got an appointment within days. Dr. Knight was EXTREMELY patient and caring with my dog - considering he genuinely hates going to the vet. My dog Bear rewarded her with many kisses after the appointment. Which he has never done before… if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Bentley loves his people at Daylily! The staff is very kind, and they made sure my boy got plenty of attention. These people saved his life when he got parvo as a puppy, and now he lives an active life full of mischief!

Dr. Driscoll is sincere and compassionate. My son Rokke was ready for Heaven's Dog Park. It was a heartbreaking time for us. We were treated very kind and lovingly. I received a sweet condolence card, signed by everyone there; along with an autumn bouquet. I'll never forget how well Rokke was taken care of from his first visit, until his last visit. Forever grateful for Daylily.

I recommend Daylily to every pet owner. They went above and beyond to help me in every way possible during an extremely stressful day full of tough decisions. Thank you to all the Drs and assistants for all of your compassion. You helped me more than you may know

Had an amazing first experience at this Vet! The front desk staff were helpful, professional, and provided great communication. The tech was friendly and gentle and helped make the visit quick and painless. The doctor was fantastic. Very calm, collected, knowledgeable, and relatable. He spoke to me clearly and concisely and was very down to earth. We will definitely be back and will refer friends and family to this business. Thank you Daylily!

The entire team was phenomenal in my pets need and he eye. From the wonderful front desk team, to the vet tech Jade and the vet, everything went soooo smoothly! My husky Jade was very pleased with her service and i even got a follow up call today checking on her. I was in and out within an hour when every other emergency clinic was 6-8 hours in Austin. A”paw”lause to the entire team!

Over the weekend, we noticed our puppy had bloody stools. We were unable to take him to our regular vet due to their weekday hours, so we visited Daylily in Hutto. According to the doctor, Dr. Driscoll, our puppy tested positive for parvo. Unfamiliar with what this entailed, the doctor seemed sympathetic at first then slapped us with 2 dreadful options- $3,000-5,000 bill for a stay in the clinic for 3+ days no guarantee of survival, or surrendering our puppy to the APA organization who would pay the bill and put him up for adoption. We were extremely anxious and sad that these were our only options. We felt the doctor neglected informing us on other options such as offering us a home kit which we then inquired about. She looked disappointed that we knew there was this option and seemed completely stoic after we asked. We left seeking another place that would treat us better and offer more reasonable and affordable options. We arrived to another location who was very empathetic to our concerns and told us our puppy’s case was not severe and we could wait until Monday to visit our regular vet. We then returned to Daylily to see if we could pick up the HomeKit just to administer over the weekend. They came outside to tell us that option was no longer available, turning us away. After driving home for 30 minutes, they called us back and said they could give us some components of the HomeKit but we would have to return in 10 minutes or the offer was off the table! We were horrified with this treatment and vowed to never return! I would hate anyone else to go through this experience especially as new pet owners who are not informed. We ended up going to our regular vet who said our puppy only had worms, NOT parvo, and charged us $30 for a vaccine. It has been over a month and our puppy is alive and well!

My little dog got very sick. After being hospitalized it was determined that she was not going to make it. It was handled with empathy and compassion which I really appreciated.

Wonderful office. I called Friday morning very concerned for my dog, who wasn’t doing well. They told me they do walk-in visits, but let me know that they were booked and it could potentially be a 1-3hr wait. I agreed and was there in about 30min and was seen right away! All of the staff was so kind and upfront about all the costs before proceeding with radiographs and lab work. Thank you Dr. Driscoll for helping Odie! She was very informative and compassionate and I could feel that she truly cared. Dr.Driscoll even called me personally to check on Odie throughout the weekend. He’s doing so much better, thank you!!

I brought my injured dog in on a Saturday morning without an appointment. I was given an estimate of 1-3 hours wait and chose to stay. Within the hour, my dog was called back and given such great care from start to finish. The ladies working the front desk were prompt and helpful, the technicians were understanding and patient with my stubborn boy, and both of the vets I spoke with explained what was going on with him in detail. The vets and technicians were very thorough in my dog's exam and caught an injury that requires surgery that my dog's normal vet had missed. I received phone calls after each of his appointments just to check on him and see how he was doing. The cost of services are very fair in comparison to other places, and I appreciated them giving me detailed quotes as services were needed for my dog. I truly believe they put my dog's health first and are not out to make unnecessary money off of me. I highly recommend Daylily and will absolutely continue using their services.
