Action Pack Dog Center - Round Rock Round Rock, Texas

I had used Action Pack in the past, and this would the first time boarding my new sweet baby. They were my first choice, and fortunately, they were able to board her over New Year's weekend. The staff is genuinely caring and very friendly!!

We have used all three of the Action Pack locations for our sweet pup Bogey and we have always been very impressed. We’ve use the overnight lodging, doggy daycare, and grooming services. Our dog always leaves Action Pack happy! Groomer Nicole grooms our small dog - a Bichon frisée - and she does an amazing job. I showed pictures of our sweet Bogey to our breeder after his last groom and our breeder commented on what a very good groomer we have. We’d highly recommend Nicole to anyone!

I’ve had my dog groomed at Action Pack for three years now and I have never been disappointed. The people at the front desk are always friendly and happy to help. The groomers do a consistent and professional job. Highly recommended!

My dog had a fantastic time at daycare! Edit: I returned to edit my review after my dog was attacked by another dog while in their care. I definitely understand that dogs can be reactive, however when I was called about the incident, I was flat out lied to. The person calling began with, "all of a sudden we noticed that Rocky was bleeding." I asked what happened. She said she didn't know. I told her that he was fine when I dropped him off, so something had to have happened. I don't remember how long it took her to finally say that they thought another dog might have bitten him. They sent me pictures of the injury. It was not good. Two inches over and he would have lost his eye. Fortunately, I was able to get him right in to see our vet. When I asked about reimbursement for the vet visit, she said they MIGHT pay for it depending on their insurance. I basically said you WILL pay for it! I canceled the rest of Rocky's stays and demanded a refund of what had been prepaid. I did receive reimbursement, but no one even bothered to call and check on Rocky after this incident occurred.

I drive 40-50 minutes round trip 2x a week to bring my dog to day school and it is well worth the investment of both time and money. He is always so excited when we get here, and he’s really learned so much! All the trainers are kind and sweet, and I really love their training philosophy which makes learning fun and exciting. We also board here regularly and even though my dog is high energy and always wants tons of attention, he always has a great time and is excited to come back.

I wouldn't board my dog anywhere else . This place and the staff are great !

Love these guys. So kind and professional. I can tell they all love what they do which is take care of my pups. Plus I can tell my fellas enjoy going because they get so excited. I would recommend 100%! The only thing I wish they had were cameras so I could pop in to see what my pups are doing through out the day. I do love that they post on their FaceBook group pictures from the group play dates. I really look forward to those. Thank you guys for being so wonderful!

I’ve been grooming my Golden myself for years. Over time his coat has become very difficult for my amateur capabilities to keep up with. I was told by a client at my vet hospital about the grooming her dogs get routinely at Action Pack. I decided to give it a shot. I don’t like leaving my dog places that crate them all day so I’ve been hesitant to drop him off anywhere. I did the 25 minute drive to RR and dropped off my boy where I was promptly checked in and went over grooming instructions with his groomer. I basically left it up to her after I told her what I wanted. I left and ran a few errands then walked in the door of my house and got the message he was ready. I figured something went wrong. There is no way he was groomed and bathed so quickly… I asked, did he get a bath? She assured me he was. Ok… I drove 25 minutes back to get him and I was blown away at how good he looked. He was also dry!! It’s been a week now and he is still so soft and ever so handsome! His groomer did an amazing job!! It was less than I had expected as well!! He will definitely go back every 6 months for a grooming. He would go more often but I’m pretty good at the bath part and minor feet trimming. Thank you all at Action Pack Grooming dept.

I trust this place to take good care of my pooch. I mentioned once to my vet that I boarded Penny at Action Pack when I was out of town. She responded, “They are great.” I live next to a national chain boarding place. It would be convenient to leave my dog there but the superior facilities and staff make the drive to Action Pack more than worth it.

our doggie just love going there. And the staff really loves him too. He has been going once to twice a day since he is 5 month old. Because we neutered him at 9 months, they couldn't take him for 2 months as they require males to neutered at 7 months. Since then, he is going regularly, and loves it so much, it's a joy for us to see him so happy! I would love to use them for boarding, but then one must pay the night fare (about $45) and add the day fare on top of it (about $35) to have the pup play with friend rather than being alone in their rather comfortable kennel. I wish they had a more accessible fare for 24 hours of care.

Cassie and Elvis both really like their daycare experience at Action Pack Dog Center in Round Rock. They get a lot of attention, play, exercise and come home tired. The staff at Action Pack are fabulous - always remember us and super friendly.

The facility and the staff are fantastic. Took our girls right before our move and on moving day. They started getting really excited when we turned down the street. We took that as a great sign. :)

When I called the facility and asked about their boarding pricing. The representative informed me about the different boarding packages bronzes, silver and gold. So I assumed it was the different boarding fees to include activities. The representative told me your total boarding price would be $148. When I came to pick up my dog, I was told my total was over $600. They need to provide better customer service and clarification of pricing.

They do it all and my dogs love it here! Everytime we turn the corner they go nuts.

We took our dog to Action Pack for his first time being boarded and he was so excited to get out in the yard to play with the other puppies. The staff was so friendly and loving towards our little guy and they put me at ease knowing that our pup would get the best care and love that Round Rocj has to offer :) we will definitely be back

Roxie has been coming here for ten years now. We’ve always been welcomed by staff and we’ve never had a complaint with our dog or other dogs. The owner is always choosing simply the best employees to care for your pets.

After one visit for daycare, Action Pack is my puppy's favorite place to be. He is super excited when he knows he's going and is super happy and tired when gets home. Staff is also super friendly. Highly recommend for anyone with high-energy pups!

Wednesday was my first experience with Action Pack Dog Center. I'm a first time dog owner and this was my puppy's first time getting groomed. Crumpet seemed to enjoy his visit. The reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because his ears weren't touched they still had hair in them. Overall, I had a positive experience. I booked my second appointment before we left.

Staff is so friendly and caring and genuinely love pets!

They are always available to watch our Rocky. I never worry about him while we are away.

Our hairy daughter has been going to Action Pack for over 3 years. She has gone through Puppy training, grooming, boarded and attends Doggie Day Camp every week. We are very happy with all the services they offer. OUR HAIRY daughter is too

I use the training and day care for my Toy Aussie. They do a great job, and all you see is happy, tired dogs at the end of the day. My puppy gets excited as we drive in.

It is really hard to communicate with them. I have to stop by to get any info. A bit pricey too. Always hard to connect. :(

Service is top notch, facilities are excellent and service-options are a plenty! We have been clients for the past 11+ years! You have to visit to appreciate. Get a free tour of the facilities. This is a family owned local business and it's so nice to know our pets are so well-care for when not at home.

We love Action Pack and our skittish dogs love going and love the staff. They are ready to jump out of the car as soon as I pull up at Action Pack because they get so exited to be there.

I have been taking my dogs to Action Pack for boarding, day care and training for years. I had only used the grooming facility once. Our usual groomer was unable to work on our VERY large hairy dogs (Newfoundlands) so I thought I'd give the groomers a try. Our largest dog is 96 pounds with a heavy double coat. She was a mess. They worked on her for hours but she turned out better than she'd ever looked with our other groomer. She was neat, smooth, smelled great and we were very happy. Our second dog looked equally as great. THANKS ACTION PACK!

My puppy has been to daycare 3 times now and really seems to enjoy it and is always tired after her day---a good sign! The staff is great- nice people who care about your dog. We'll be returning :)

THE BEST! Really that's all I can say, we love taking our Boxer Dog here and only here. The facilities are clean and fun for the pets, and the faculty is beyond kind even when they are packed. Much love to Action Pack!

My family and I have been taking our dog, Beesly, to Action Pack for years and have good experiences. (You can see my original review below.) However, about a month ago we fostered and then adopted a new dog, Oakley, and unfortunately our experience with him at Action Pack haven't been as good. He's a 70 pound Great Pyrenees and we took him to daycare at Action Pack as a part of his "social time" (in addition to walks, etc). His evaluation went well and the first 2 times at daycare were OK. However, on the 3rd time we learned when we picked him around 6pm that he'd been sitting in a room by himself for almost the entire day. He had jumped their 4 foot fence between the big and little dogs about an hour after we dropped him off, and he was no longer allowed in daycare. I don't agree with that, but I understand and respect their rules. The part I'm really disappointed about is that they didn't call to tell us so that we could've picked him up instead of him being alone in a room. I expected more from Action Pack. Original Review --------------------------- We've been taking our dog, Beesly, to Action Pack for years and it's been a great experience every time. Beesly is older and can be a bit anxious, but she's always happy when we pick her up so we know that she's treated well. It's a relief knowing that Action Pack is able to take care of her while we're away.
