These folks are the best! My dog got in the trash and consumed a large ham bone which blocked his digestive system. I called, made an appointment, but my dogs condition degraded and they were kind enough to see him early. The techs handling him were compassionate and reassuring. The vet was very professional and clear in her diagnosis and treatments proposed treatment plan.

Awful experience!THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY. They didn't care about my dog, while he was having seizures and while I was outside devastated at knowing my dog could die! They only cared about the $800-1200 they wanted to charge me. Samantha was the rudest and heartless vet tech I've ever met! My dog is home with me safe and I'll take him to his vet tomorrow when they're open. Using scare tactics on vulnerable pet owners is not good business practice. I'll make sure all of Rockwall and Rowlett knows about you evil, heartless money monsters.

My puppy got bit by another dog over Thanksgiving weekend and these kind people took good care of my little Maggie. Follow up visit went excellent as well. I was very impressed by their professionalism,kindness and efficiency. Your pet will be in great hands.

my 5 week old puppy fell and hit her head. i took her to the vet in Forney & they said she just had a concussion.. 3 hours later she is throwing up and using the restroom on herself. I called them and they told me to bring her in and they will check her out. Come to find out my poor babygirl had brain damage and it was unreversible despite there efforts. They helped my Bracie girl cross the rainbow bridge with such love and compassion. They handled me being a complete sobbing mess with a million questions very well. Everybody here is absolutely in the field they should be in. They even sent me a card with all the best wishes from everyone on the office. By far the kindest people i’ve ever met!

Yesterday was the second time my little Mona needed some emergency help and after the first visit I knew exactly where to take her for help. I will keep coming to this vet and I would recommend them to anyone who has a fur baby. They just called me this morning to check on her which is why I just had to post a good review.

They took really good care of our dog when he passed suddenly at night. Thank you all.

Beware of an extra $100 fee for not calling ahead. Im not sure who calls ahead for an emergency or urgent care situation. We went to another after hours vet and they did not charge this fee.

They were amazing from the receptionist to the tech and the doctor. My cat injured her knee and they got us in ASAP. Very thorough.

The team at Rockwall Urgent Veterinary care were amazing. Kind, professional, great communication! They took amazing care of my Labrador that had been attacked by a Pitt-bull. I can not say enough good things about this practice! So happy they are only 5 minutes from my home.

I brought my week old kitten in who was having breathing issues. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and gave me all the information I needed to make the best decision for my sweet baby. Although he ended up crossing the rainbow bridge, everyone I spoke with and dealt with was very kind, courteous and genuine. They made an awful situation a little less awful and I appreciate everyone there.

Absolute best! My cat did not make it due to age and illness..but from the day I took him and his passing they were incredible. I got a clay pawprint, prints of his nose and paw. I couldn't believe they did all of that plus the cremation. Perfect memories they gave me of my cat of 16 years. THANK YALL!

Dr. Lomeli is an amazing doctor and has an amazing team behind her! Yes having an animal costs money, as pet owners we should know this and be responsible pet parents. I don’t expect the local mechanic to give me free services because of my poor planning, it’s not any different than a locally owned vet clinic asking for their fees to be paid. Pet care cost money, these people still have bills and families to provide for. Her care is worth every penny, I have and will always trust her with my pets.

My dog was hurt and had 2 broken ribs. We brought him to this vet and we were waiting for over 4 hours. They told us us to treat him, it would be $4,000. If we couldn’t afford that, they said we would have to put him down. We then took him to another vet and they didn’t even charge us for X-rays. They treated him and only charged us $130. If we would have listened to what this Rockwall Urgent Vet said, my dog would be dead right now. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Seems like they’re just interested in getting money. Thankfully, my dog is happy and healthy now.

These people deserve some very good words. They helped us through a very tough, emotional situation with my 12yo Lab, Bo. Another vet diagnosed him with arthritis earlier in the week and prescribed meds. He likely did have arthritis, but something else was going on, and of course, it was the weekend. This business has a process that works, people that communicate in a way that a person under duress should be spoken to, the people MAKE the place... most importantly, they coddled my boy. I couldn't have gone ANYWHERE that would have done better. I'm glad to have them in Rockwall. It was a top notch send off for everyone involved. And we are all VERY grateful. Don't hesitate to call. It's nothing like my experiences with some other places, price-wise and level of care-wise. It was very worth it. I don't know how many reviews I've written, but it's not many.

They were very helpful and super professional from start to finish. They got my pup in when we had been turned away at another ER clinic. A big THANK YOU to the whole staff!! You guys ROCK!!!

I had an emergency situation with my dog sugar and I took her to this vet that I found on the Internet plus also my vet recommended and they did an ultrasound when we thought she was having liver failure it was actually her gallbladder the staff was so sweet so nice loved the vet he was wonderful I can’t recommend this place enough to everybody very reasonably priced with all of the stuff they kept me up-to-date everything that was going on now we have a action plan to help get my dog cured and over her sickness

My husband and I are forever grateful for the care that our pup Smallz received. We were extremely worried and desperate to find help specially on a weekend. This staff was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t be happier with service they provided. They’re simply amazing!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The process of checking in and checking out was very smooth and organized. Wait time wasn't long and it didn’t cost a ton. We will definitely use Rockwall Urgent Care again if we need to.

My Keeshond was not eating and not being herself, my Vet had no appts for 2 weeks and other Vets in the area were the same. I made an appt for 5pm that day and took her in. They took her and examined her while I waiting in the parking lot. The Doctor called and said they found a mass in her bladder...cancer. Treatment was expensive and not very successful. They brought her out and she was happy to be going home. Unfortunately or fortunately, she passed away 10 mins later on the drive home. I called and returned to the clinic where they pronounced her dead, and then took her and prepared her so I could bury her at home with her sisters. I am thankful they were able to let me know what was wrong with her and with their professionalism and compassion. If I need their services again, I will not hesitate to use them. I just received a card signed by the all of the staff today. Thank you all.

We found ourselves in a difficult position, our senior dog had a seizure on a Sunday and wasn’t coming back from it. We tried our vet and several emergency vets in the area who wouldn’t respond to our calls and we were desperate to not see him suffer. Reached out to a friend in the veterinarian industry and they recommended this place. Rockwall urgent vet answered promptly and was able to see us right away. It was a hard day for our family but they handled it so well and gracefully. Based on their response in a time when it really counted we would highly recommend them.

Every staff member I encountered (receptionist, nurse and veterinarian) were extremely kind, professional and genuinely cared! I was confident my sweet fur baby was in great hands! Thank you Rockwall Urgent Vet!❤️

All employees and vet were polite, informative and handled my dog gentle and with calm voices. They listened about my concerns and explained procedures, diagnosis and recommended treatment. I was very pleased with their professional courteous mannerisms.

Scam artists. Cons. People that work here have no heart or sympathy. RIP to those little ones who died because their owners didnt have the money for their overly inflated "take it or leave it pricing" only to let you watch your pet die in the waiting room. The owner sounds full of themself on the responses to negative reviews.

Our sweet 10 month old puppy was in so much pain due to a fractured scapula and the staff was so comforting and helpful!! They and the doctor explained in detail what to expect and put us at ease!! Highly recommend them!!!

We were VERY impressed with Rockwall Urgent Vet! They were so helpful and understanding. Their staff was very interactive and willing to text with updates on our fur baby before, during and after her surgery. Even a week later, I was able to text them with a couple of questions and they responded immediately!! I would definitely recommend Rockwall Urgent Vet for any of your emergencies!!!
