RCVC stepped up and helped me take care of my dog’s issue when no one else had anything available. After multiple visits my dog is doing very well and I could not be happier with the service I received and the care my dog had. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I loved Dr. Mark Pirring when I lived in Mesquite. I am so happy to have found Rockwall County Vet Clinic. They love my dog almost as much as I do and treat us all so nicely. Love this vet.

I moved here from out of state, I've been to 4 different vets, until I found Rockwall County. People were nice, from the people on the phone to everyone else I came in contact with, Dr. Reid, was incredibly kind and really took care of my dog, and made me feel better. Very reasonable price, This is the place to go. Thank You

Even though I had to make a hard decision to put my fur baby (Hulk) down, every single person that I had contact with was very sympathetic to my situation and gave me the time I needed to spend with him. They were all kind, and very helpful in all of my options. Thank you to the entire staff. Yall made that horrible situation as easy as it could have been for me. RIP big guy

The doctor there shared every procedure and test with me on the phone while I'm in the parking lot. You get what you pay for for sure,,, So it looks like me and Toode are on boiled chicken and rice for the next month LOL

As a pet owner you take your fur-family to a vet to ensure you know what is happening with their health and to ensure they're not suffering when the time comes to say your goodbye. RCV, specifically Dr. Clemmons, robbed us of that. Last fall our 10 year old dogs was seen for a limp. We had x-rays done and were told it was bad arthritis. Fast forward 9 months he was now 11. One day he refused his walks, threw up a little bit, and was not eating. I called immediately to get him in. We paid almost $400 for an exam, x-rays, and bloodwork. We were told he had an enlarged heart and some slightly elevated protein and liver levels but within the normal range. We could schedule an echocardiogram to determine the cause of the enlarged heart. Upon trying to schedule the echo we were told it would be at least a month. I pushed back saying at the rate he's not eating he won't make it that long. After numerous attempts to speak to the vet and was told she'd call us back I would follow up again before finally getting a call back. She had him come in for the entire day so they could sneak him in for a heart ultrasound in between other appointments. This cost us another exam fee and two more xray charges. The results were that his heart was actually fine but that by seeing him struggle to get up he has really bad arthritis that is causing him to have acid reflux. We were advised to give him a liquid medicine daily to numb his throat, pain medicine, and acid reflux medicine. We followed the instructions for a week as we watched him get progressively worse as he would still not eat. I had a hunch to give him a rub down to feel for lumps and sure enough I found a massive lump on his neck. Now furious that this was missed I called another vet for a second opinion. They reviewed the labs and xrays done by RCV and said he did not have bad arthritis at all he had degenerative disc disease. And the lump on his neck was indeed a baseball size tumor and he had cancer throughout his body. There was no way a basic exam done two weeks prior could have missed it. We had to put him down 3 days later. It's hard enough to say goodbye to your best friend but to carry this guilt that you weren't able to provide him the care he needed in his final days and to know that he suffered us forcing medicine down his throat for a misdiagnosis breaks my heart. Dr. Clemmons should have found this tumor on a basic physical exam but instead advised us to shove unnecessary pills down our dogs throat and charged us for unnecessary x-rays and additional exams when we could have been letting him go more comfortably. She also never advised a bland diet and upon research on my own I found that an enlarged heart can be caused by grain-free food but she never asked us what type of food he was getting. I'm not sure if the clinic has gotten too big or if Dr. Clemmons is in need of additional education but to miss a baseball size tumor on a dogs neck just blows my mind. I hope this review helps others.

They were very cuortious and handled putting in my dog with grace. They then proceeded to leave me in the room with his body for nearly 30 min as my wife poked her head out the door looking for help.

I have been seeing Dr. Clemons for years and she is AMAZING. I have heard amazing things about every vet that works here, but personally I can say she is the best I have ever had (and I've been to about 25 different veterinarians across DFW). She TRULY cares for every one of her patients and is so incredibly knowledgeable. I trust her 100% with my babies and know they are in the best hands possible. ❤️ She even has spoken to me MANY times outside of business hours to address any concerns or questions I have. She has helped so many of my animals recover from illnesses that I thought I would lose them to. Every staff member I have met has been so supportive and caring. I will never take my animals anywhere else and I HIGHLY recommend.

We had to put our beloved fur baby Red down last Saturday due to his failing health. The Vet and Vet tech that helped us through this process were so kind and genuinely concerned for our grief as we said our goodbyes and they hugged us as we left. I couldn't say enough about their kindness ????

Great veterinarian! Our doctor in Fate was out of the office today and they recommended them to us. Our little dog, Charlie, has fever and kennel cough. They gave him an antibiotic and pills for coughing. We really like them!!

Best vet in Rockwall. However, prices have steadily climbed too high in last six years.

We were referred to RCVC from MULTIPLE people on a Facebook post. I asked for compassionate, trustworthy vets that take their time with each patient (dogs in my case). I called because our 8year old girl Abby, hurt her leg playing with our 70 lb Sheepadoodle puppy. She was not bearing weight on her back leg. They were able to get me in next day and took care of her like she was their own. She is a very nervous dog but she was at more ease with Dr. Clemons. Thank you all so much-your staff is wonderful!!

Have been coming here since the late 90's. As far as I'm concerned they are the best ! Extremeley understanding compassionate and very reasonable on their prices. All the employees have great attitudes and are very pleasant with outstanding customer service skills.

Dr. Taylor is the Best of the Best! I drove my granddog, Buddy, all the way from Crowley to Rockwall for a trusted, second opinion, which should have been first in my book! Dr. Taylor took one look at Buddy and confirmed my suspicions with a follow up X-RAY, proving pneumonia. I do not mind paying Dr. Taylor because he is genuine, honest, and trustworthy! He will not take advantage of your pocketbook without performing the tests needed! I am a Senior Citizen and I recommend Dr. Taylor to everyone with pets! He knows if you truly love and care for your pets, too! I cried so hard when I thought Delilah had parvo and was dying; turns out, no parvo and she lived! I love Dr. Taylor and every time my grandchildren acquire pets, of course they ask me, "Granny, can you help me take care of my dog?" Because they know that I will call Dr. Taylor in a heartbeat with my concerns about petcare!????,,????

Always friendly, accommodating service and they always shoot you straight. I never feel pressured into buying or investing in more services than I need for Pepper. They always recommend, but never push, which I appreciate. As long as I have animals, I'll take them here.

Just went for vaccines for 2 dogs. We called when we arrived, and they came out to get the pups. Once done, we paid over the phone and a few minutes later, they brought the pups back out. Quick, easy, friendly, and fairly painless.

Had a horrible 1st experience here last time. But decided to give them a second chance considering they were busy and fixed my pets issue. This time they lost my business for good I waited on hold for 15 minutes in the parking lot trying to tell them I was here for my appointment and then was hung up on before I could ever talk to somebody. I just left there's no reason in giving them my money if they don't wanna be professional I was here on time for my appointment and even if I would of had someone answer the phone after 15 minutes I was late and they probably already skipped me.
