Pappy's Pet Lodge Rockwall, Texas

I love that there are several locations in DFW metro. I chose the Rockwall location due to the proximity to I30. Reasonable prices.. boarding & grooming and a very friendly staff. Try them, you won't be disappointed! ????????

My Husband, Three fur babies(Kane,Midnight,Thor) and I absolutely adore the staff here!! This place is top notch! The customer service and love they show our babies is unparalleled and we truly appreciate them‼️ if you're in need of lodging or daycare for your pets please pay them a visit!

We sent our dog for training and after 3 days they sent him back saying that our dog couldn’t focus, so they had to find a different way to train him. We reached out before and they never indicated that they were not making progress with our dog. Before we sent our dog to training he knew all basic commands... he is just a puppy (will be 2 in June) and we needed certain things reinforced. In 3 days they made NO progress with our dog. They gave him human food as treats, and he was returned to us early, SUPER sick. They told my husband we would only receive a refund in store credit, which of course we were not okay with since clearly they were not the right fit for our dog. I had to call and talk to the manager (who was extremely disrespectful and clearly didn’t want to talk to a woman) . He finally agreed to give us an actual refund, not just store credit. We have no issues with the trainer and hope we can work with her individually to train our dog, but we will definitely not be going back to Pappys.

Professional people in charge of your pet. We were able to check in on our dog thru the web cam. Our dog was happy and well cared for. The staff was professional and informative. If you have any concerns about leaving your pet there, do not worry. We were at ease knowing our pet was happy. I can't recommend Pappy"s Pet Lodge enough. Thanks to all. Don

Pappys went out of there way when helping us with our dog. When my wife went into the hospital.

We took our rabbit to them to take care of while we were out of town. They took great care of Charlie. When we picked him up he we could tell that he was well taken care of. He look happy to see us. The girl that helped us said she wanted to take him home. They used to take care of our lab when she was alive. They have always done a great job of taking care of our pets.

Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Love the in-room and play area cameras so we can always see how the fur-babies are getting along.

I applied through Indeed, gave me a message the same day I applied, asking me what days would be great for me. I couldn't respond on time due to a busy schedule with school, so this was my fault. About a few days have passed, and I had the time to respond back, which was the 8th of December. No response since. No wonder the ratings on Indeed where bad haha.

We started taking our fur babies here about a year ago and we couldn't be happier. They are very caring with our pups and the dogs are always excited to go. Can't say enough about how well they have taken care of our dogs.

Disappointed with the customer service at the Rockwall location. I booked a reservation online and never received a confirmation by email or phone. I tried calling 3 days in a row to confirm and got the voicemail every time. I ended up having to go to a different boarding facility that confirmed immediately.

We rescued our dog from Ready2Rescue, who share this facility. They obviously care deeply for their animals. The staff is kind and professional. The facility is tidy and well run.

A great place for our dogs to go for a day or for a week! They treat our dogs extremely well and they always come home from both daycare and/or lodging so exhausted that they snore their first night back home with us! We once were stranded on our vacation and had to extend our dogs' stay an extra 4 days and nights and they handled the situation for us with ease. We highly recommend Pappy's Pet Lounge.

We love Pappy's! Our dog always comes back exhausted from playing with all the other dogs during daycare time. The staff is always super attentive and let's us know about anything going on. For example, this last time, they let us know that their washer and dryer wasn't capable of washing our dogs large dog bed if she had an accident as some dogs had because they didnt like having to go potty outside since it was raining. They wanted to let us know just so that we were prepared. I loved how informative they were and that they didnt leave anything out that we could be surprised about when we picked our dog up!

My dog went with an upset stomach and although I was reluctant to drop her off, they reassured me they’d keep an eye on her. Peggy and the staff there were amazing with her and treated her like their own baby. They gave me updates throughout the day, and she was remarkably better by the time I was able to pick her up in the evening. They are always warm, king and caring. Love them. Highly recommend!

My guys love Pappy's! We are always promptly greeted. Love the daycare, boarding, and grooming services. I have 2 old pugs who absolutely LOVE to spend time at Pappy's. The facility is very clean, all animals are.closely monitored, and everyone who works there is awesome.

Boarded our dogs for thanksgiving break only to come back to a sick dog she had to be taken to an emergency vet same day we picked her up from boarding only got to spend 3 hrs with her and she had to stay another 2 days in the emergency vet hospital off beltline. This is the second time we used them the first when our house was being built and again one of are dog came home sick with kennel cough. Our dog caught a viral infection that just cost us 3,400 and paid Pappy’s 1000 for boarding. I will be boarding them with our veterinarian now just to be safe. Very disappointed in this place not once did they tell us she was sick didn’t tell us she wasn’t eating.

These people really care about your animals! I wasn't crazy about leaving my dogs alone anywhere until I found this place. You will be very comfortable leaving your dogs here. You can watch them on webcam 24/7.

We boarded our Great Danes here for 60 days and they were well taken care of and fed for the entire period. After picking up our boys, they almost act depressed like they miss the place. Well done Pappy's!!

We dropped our dog off at the Rockwall location for a 3 day weekend stay. He has a special diet and Bob insisted the staff would fully follow our feeding directions. Each day had a morning and an evening food bag, along with treats and toys. When we returned home from picking him up, we found only 2 morning bags ( smaller portions)had been given to him. No treats were eaten either. The lady who answered our call appologized saying thy had a new employee and they would refund our money, but we would have to wait for Bob to get back on Friday. Well Bob said he investigated the situation and stated our EVER HUNGRY Lab would not touch his food! No refund and pretty much told us we were not truthful. Guess Pappy’s loss of our business means nothing to him, but our dog was never going back to be mistreated anyhow.

They take really great care of fur babies. The dogs play and socialize and are tired at night.
