My dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE to visit !!!!!

I trust the staff at RAH and have been taking my pets here for 20 years. The staff know me and all my pets by name and have always given the best care to my guys regardless of whether it’s for a scheduled visit, medical issue or for boarding

Love the staff there. They all love animals and it shows! They get right down on the floor with big dogs!!!

Dr. Noel was great with foster semi-feral kitty who got sick & brought her back to health. Very nice attentive office staff & techs. Thanks!

I can't say enough good things about this animal hospital. Everyone at the front is so nice and helpful. We see Dr. Noel and we love her. She is so kind and so great at explaining things to you. And you can just tell she truly loves animals and cares about her patients.

All I can say is beyond awesome, have a big mastiff that isn't crazy about people they accommodated her in everyway she never even barked it was great ten stars.

Everyone from the phones, to the aids, and Dr's are so very nice and make you think that your Pet is the only one they see. My wife and I are so pleased and our Chloe (5 month old StandardDoodle) is always so excited to walk through the doors.

The staff and Dr. Howell were so kind getting my 17 yr old in today regarding an injury Saturday to his right shoulder that left him unable to walk. They even fit my other younger schnauzer into the schedule for routine things bcuz he would howl in the apt of we keft him behind. They took the time to listen, and when explaining what Dr. Howell wanted to check for in the bloodwork and tests. I never felt rushed. Great team effort with loads of kindness, gentleness, and empathy. Thank you all so much!!????

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Howell and her team. I was referred by my neighbor, and even with their positive experiences I was still nervous about seeing a new vet for my cat, Bananya. The vet tech, Hayden, listened to my cat's history and concerns very well, patiently, and without any interruptions, which made me feel very comfortable. The vet, Dr. Howell, was super thorough and gave me recommendations to help my cat not only for the short-term, but for long-term. I didn't feel rushed by the vet, and she took time to answer all of my questions and made sure I didn't leave with anything unanswered. They were very transparent about pricing, and their pricing is very fair and reasonable from my experience. I didn't ever feel like I was getting conned or cheated in any way - in fact I was charged for shorter visit since my cat wasn't as ill as I had originally thought, and the exam took shorter time than expected. I plan to continue taking both of my cats here from now on, and I'm so happy to have a local vet that I can trust.

The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable about their jobs, I have full confidence in them treating my two dogs!

They took really good care of my Bella but unfortunately she passed away. Would go back but kinda pricie, especially during these hard times.

We love Roanoke Animal Hospital and have been coming for years. We have a dog and a cat and both are always so comfortable and happy with Dr. Noel and Dr. Shepherd. Dr. Noel was wonderful with all of our concerns and questions about our kitty’s recent surgery. She took extra time to answer every question and called us to follow up and check in on her recovery. Christine (at the front desk) was very helpful in answering all of our invoice and procedure questions the day of and many times before!

So disappointed in Roanoke Animal Hospital! We moved to the area a year ago and have taken our sweet golden doodle there a few times. This last time we used their in-house groomer. Our sweet dog came home just not the same and it’s been a week and she is still miserable! She cannot lift her tail and is chewing constantly at her paws. When I called to see if they would look at her this morning since it’s only gotten worse over the last week, the vet was very condescending on the phone to me and told me she thought it was simply a limp tail caused by over wagging it (I’m not so sold on this explanation). She then prescribed pain meds and when I went to pick them up, they charged me $50 for them!!! Which I just found to be crazy since she was injured in their care! Anyways, I felt they were very rude and insensitive! My poor dog has hardly gotten up for the last serval days and is in so much pain she’s not eating and can’t sit down only lay down. It’s just breaks my heart to see her that way! I expected better. **their response below has nothing to do with the incident described above. I chose not to have the appointment this morning due to how I was treated yesterday.

Love the people here. All very kind and very helpful. My dog has seperation anxiety and does not like to leave the room without me, but they're very patient with him.

Roanoke Animal Hospital is a state of the art, first class animal hospital offing all forms of care your pet might need. Every member of the staff is always friendly and accomodating to all our needs.

The entire RAH team has always been caring, compassionate, kind and professional to our fur babies. They have treated us with dignity and respect, as they have our animals. They care. And that's important to us!

I can tell you truly care about my pooches. They love you! I'll never go anywhere else! We've been taking our dogs to Roanoke Animal Hospital for years. (And my mom did with hers before me.) Doctors and staff are always super courteous and helpful. My dogs have had all their regular stuff done here, plus surgeries (eye, tumors, tooth extractions), heart worm treatment, senior screens - you name it. Most recently getting my boy's diabetes under control. Always the very best of care. I will never go anywhere else!

Roanoke Vet hospital has an amazing staff. We had an emergency with our 13 yr old Westie on a Tuesday about 2 pm. He was dry heaving and we had no idea why. We tried to call and left a message but I was panicking so we headed over there. We called and told them we were outside. They were fully booked but said they would work us in. About 15 moon later they came to get Diego (Covid restrictions in place) the vet examined him but didn’t see anything causing the problem. The Dr called and said we could try some medication and see if it resolved itself or he could go to another place for a scope. I asked what she would do and she said she’d wait. She gave him a shot and sent us home with medication. The next day he was better and 2 days later he was fine! All this for a very reasonable price. Their care and concern is outstanding plus I know that they are not going to run extra tests and charge me for crazy stuff. It makes me comfortable being able to take him whenever we have an issue. We have used their grooming too and loved it.

The staff does an outstanding job caring for Summer and helping me understanding treatment plan, her progress and talking about next steps. I believe she is getting the best treatment for her kidney condition.
