Kindred Care Pet Hospital RICHMOND, Texas

My 13 year old fur baby first started seeing Dr. Fidelis about 3 years ago. The doctor and his staff are awesome. My doggy has had many health issues these past few years and they're becoming much more frequent due to her older age. The staff is always more than happy to help. Sometimes when I have call them 3 or 4 times a week for different things they're so nice, professional and caring. Dr. Fidelis and his staff really make us feel welcome. Thanks for always taking such good care of my fur baby.

I was so worried about my pet I rushed in to the Kindred Pet Hospital. They were extremely nice. They treated my pet and I as if we were regular patients. It is so beautiful and clean inside. I highly recommend them.

I love everyone at Kindred Care Pet Hospital. Doc gave me 3 extra years with my most precious KingDavid who was very seriously ill & on the verge of death. Thank God for Dr. Fidelis, my KD & I had 3 more years of quality life together. Doc & his entire staff are family to me & my pups. I highly recommend him as the best Pup Doc in the entire Houston area.

I’m from Galveston where there is only a few vets in town. The one my parents use they have used for at least 15 years and that’s where I’d always go. The vet is someone my mom even went to school with. I was seeing a lot of scary reviews for local places and other places had higher prices with extremely long wait times. Our girl was yowling a lot and marking territory way too much. We brought her in for an exam and got her up to date on shots/set up up booster appointments and her surgery day. The location was close to our home which is great in busy Houston, the staff and Doctor are great and the facility is kept very clean and mask are worn by everyone. Though we paid more than we set out to pay that was only considering her surgery. We didn’t account for getting her up to date on shots and a test that was good to get for her. Money aside her well being, comfort and care were on my mind more than anything. You can tell the doctor cares and unfortunately that mostly comes from going somewhere and paying more. Low income vets are over worked and stressed this causes mistakes and neglect we wouldn’t risk for our fur baby. We are beyond happy with the care she received she’s still healing but it’s crazy how fast and well.

I’m so grateful for Dr. Fidelis & Alexia for helping me with my cat while she had a pancreatitis. I was pretty scared but they always reassured me that she would be okay and I’m really grateful for their services that they provided. I’d highly recommend Dr. Fidelis because he takes his time with his cases and answers any questions or concerns!

A miracle worker. I brought my pup Swifty to him when my other vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with her as she continued to lose weight and became very lethargic. I spent a lot of money before I switched to Dr. Fidelis, and Dr. Fidelis only did a simple test while I was there and found out right away what was wrong. She's been doing so much better since and you can see the difference between her old pictures (where she was wearing her sweater) and her now. I brought another puppy to him with Parvo and he also made an amazing recovery. The way the office operates is clear. Everything that they recommend is listed on paper with the price and explained before they start so there's nothing hidden. They will also work with you to find the best treatment plan that fits within your budget. Highly recommend bringing your pet here to get the best care they deserve.

Dr. Paul Fidelis and his staff are exceptional. The compassion he shows for his patients and their human family has helped us through several difficult decisions and goodbyes. I recommend him highly!

I have had the worst experience here! Since day one they have just been about the money. They add a 5% service fee for card (not mentioned). When we have been they try to sell something every time. Now, I have to wait two days to refill a prescription that had been sent over 2 days prior or should have been sent the last week we had an appointment. After trying to get it sent to a different pharmacy l, he had the nerve to continue to argue and cut me off when all I was asking and worried about is getting it sent over so my dog won't have a seizure. Not recommended at all if your pet has issues!

We adopted an older dog about 6 months ago. He was in pretty bad shape when we got him. He was missing so much hair, he was always tired, and his skin was flaking all over. We originally took him to Dr. Fidelis because the office was close to our home, but now I can't imagine going anywhere else! Our dog has made a complete 180 thanks for Dr. Fidelis and his staff! I cannot thank their team enough for helping us with Grizz. He is such a happy and healthy boy now. The staff all show so much compassion to our pet, as if he is their own. When we first took our dog in he had to get several tests done. Dr. Fidelis has taken time out of his day on several occasions to talk with us over the phone about test results and is always willing to explain all of the details to us. I will always recommend this facility when people ask where we take our dog.

Dr Fidelis and his amazing staff have been a blessing to our family! We rescued our fur baby in 2011 and were in need of a routine care physician. We took a chance on Kindred Animal Care, as they were a new clinic at the time and we were looking for convenience close to home. Trusting care to a new practitioner can be scary, but Dr Fidelis was great at explaining the treatment plans and giving us all options available. He has monitored our dog through major weight weight loss (much needed), struvite crystals, incontinence, osteoarthritis and now anxiety. Dr and staff have always been very considerate and timely with results, updates and reminders for my dog. I am confident that whatever comes next, Dr will work with us to get through it! His love for animals + professionalism + experience = happy healthy pet! 10/10 recommend

Dr. Fidelis explained everything regarding our dog's condition, and our options for treatment. He listened, answered questions and didn't rush me through. Our dog rebounded quickly thanks to Dr. Fidelis' care. And, he called the next day to see how she was doing. ???? I highly recommend Kindred Care!!

I've taken my cat to many veterinarians but none of them have ever displayed the level of professionalism, care, and kindness as Dr. Fidelis. He listens thoroughly to your concerns and most importantly, your pets, without shaming you or making you feel like your animals injury/illness is your fault. I am completely blown away by how kind (and fun loving) his staff is and will continue to take my animals here for as long as I am in the Houston area.

BEST VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! Dr Fidelis is Amazing! From the second he entered the room he was so informative and welcoming. He genuinely cares about pet owners being professionally informed and understand what is going on with their pet. He is not brief or misleading. He even brought my boyfriend and I to the lab room to show us what our cats urinalysis looked like under microscope and described the diagnosis in full detail, he referred us to a page in a textbook with references and additional information related to the issue with our cat. Dr Fidelis gave us a free sample of urinary feline food to get us through the week, as his condition could turn critical. Such an intelligent, warm, and welcoming doctor and facility. The receptionist was very informative of the facility, medical, and products. She was sweet and welcoming and a great assistant to Dr Fidelis. The vet tech was a sweet young lady as well. She was careful handling our cat, and compassionate about her profession. I highly recommend anyone bring their animal here!

Wonderful vet clinic. Dr. Fidelis and his staff are excellent. It was my first time bringing my pup to his clinic. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. The doctor was very kind to my dog and to me. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explain the treatment plan thoroughly. Great experience. Would definitely recommend.

The staff at Kindred Care Pet Hospital Richmond is excellent. I have a senior dog who is quite difficult and they do an amazing job when handling her. I have been with this pet hospital for about 6 months and every time I have come here it's always spotless, never smells, and everyone here has been so kind and caring.

Dr. Fidelis truly is your other family doctor! He is so gentle with pets and does a very thorough examination. He constantly educates the owners about diseases that can be passed between humans and animals so that you can protect yourself and your pet. He also gives a follow up call after treatment or surgery to make sure your pet is doing well.

Love this place I've been taking my poodle here for quite a while. They are always friendly to me and always accommodate my needs and answer my questions no matter how many questions I may have or if they are busy with other customers... they truly make you feel like you're the only customer they have and that is very special to me. I know my dog is in good hands and will be taken care of while he's getting his vaccinations...thank you so much for your kindness.

We brought in our cat a few months ago. The staff was excellent and the doctor is very professional and compassionate. Today I brought in a stray kitten to get checked. Dr. Fidelis took the time to explain every little detail about the little guy.
