My family and I wholeheartedly recommend Embrace Veterinary Care Animal Clinic without reservation. If you are looking for doctors that know their stuff and ensure both they and their vet tech team members treat your animals with both love and respect- then take them here stat. I will share one of our experiences thus far. Our oldest cat has suffered from horrible allergies for many YEARS. We have taken her to three other vet clinics in this area and in Sugar Land. We have spent tons of hours and thousands of dollars in the process, trying to control her allergy symptoms, but yet none of the three prior vets could cure her allergies. So she suffered from constant sneezing, eye and nose discharge- it was horrible to see her like that every day! We took her to see Dr. Douglass, she gave us one medication and a couple supplements to give our cat- she instantly improved. Our cat seldom sneezes now and has had no eye or nose discharge. Her quality of life has improved tremendously and we are beyond grateful to the team at Embrace!

Dr. Laurel Douglass came to my 2 fur babies rescue when they were sick. They were both very comfortable with her and she was spot on with her diagnosis. The office is warm, cozy and relaxing. I am very particular about the care my dogs receive, so we are so happy we found Embrace.

Dr Douglass and her staff member were very kind, friendly, & knowledgeable. I just moved near the area and glad I found a new a Vet office for my two dogs. Their facility is very clean. Thank you for doing what you do!

I have been looking for a good Vet that I had a connection with for eleven years. This place is absolutely awesome! The Doctor is so fun and full of personality. ♡♡ The technician was super friendly too. Very clean facility, I will be taking all of my animals here from now on.

I used to go to Mission Bend animal clinic for my fur baby for the past years. They recently switched vets and were not caring for my baby the way they used to. I had to switch vets and found Embrace Vet. If I could give this place 100x stars I would. From setting the appointment on the phone to the actual visit. My gosh what a change!!! Everything is very clean and they play calming music. I was greeted so kindly and had all my questions answered. They made sure we were taken care of before we left. My dog tends to be very nervous and they were extremely patient. They even gave her peanut butter to ease her stress. She was recently diagnosed with a UTI and they are caring for her step by step. Literally explained so many things, I would’ve never been aware of. I mean this place is amazing I cannot stress this enough. My dog was very calm she even took a nap on the sofa and she has never done that!! She’s usually a nervous wreck. When your fur baby has enough trust you know it’s a good place. Please if you care and love your fur baby bring them here. She even got a cute snap shot! My fur baby is a Miniature Schnauzer, 13 years of age.

I took my cat today and they were so nice and welcoming. They’re the best, I recommend going there and I can guarantee your pet is in good hands. Loved the experience and would definitely do it again

I took my chihuahua to Embrace today for the first time and I was very pleased. My precious little chihuahua and I were greeted warmly by Sandy, the technician. The Veterinarian, the other Dr. Douglas was great and she explained everything thoroughly. They were gentle with my chihuahua and handled her with care. The clinic is new and very clean. The examination room was cozy and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.

We brought our new fur-baby Teddy in for his first well visit. We wanted to just check them out because they were so close to home. Well we will be returning as loyal customers. A+!!!

Everybody was extremely helpful and nice! They took very good care of my dog Bunny and made her a really cute welcome sign!

My two year old dog has been experiencing some obese problems I tried everything nothing was helping Dr Douglas put together a 25-week diet plan for her that was easy to follow from the moment we got there we were greeted with a compassionate and friendly, knowledgeable staff Ty Dr Douglas for ur help

Dr. Douglas and staff were great with Rosie our pet. They were patient, kind and loving with her. They took the time to talk with us about our concerns with Rosie. They educate us on her diet and how important it is to stay consistent with the diet. They gave us a plan to follow which my son loves. We new Rosieis was obese but we didn't know how to go about helping her to lose weight so she could feel comfortable. We had try a diet food and excercise, but getting no where. Dr. Douglass gave us plan. Where excited to get her started. Their clinic is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend you taking your pet to Dr Douglas's both veterinarians are awesome very experienced with animals they can definitely help you in an emergency or getting your pet on the right track. I'm also impressed with their affordable prices. Very grateful for their assistance and their prompt attention to Rosie. I have known both Dr Douglas's for several years now and have had the privilege of working with them in the past. I know how dedicated both Dr Douglas's are how educated they are their compassion to not just the pets but also to the pet owners. I appreciate both of yall.

Since we arrived the assistant was very kind, and answer us all questions we had. Then, the doctor came. She took her time listening to us explaining our case, evaluating the dog, making her diagnostic, and explaining what we need to do. Today, 1 day after we visited Embrace Veterinary, my dog has improved 80%. In previous treatments with other doctors it took a week or so. Hopefully, it will be a definitive treatment. The cost was very reasonable. I definitively will come back there. I give them 5 starts.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after my positive experience at Embrace Veterinary Care. If you are looking for a vet, look no further - you will be in good hands here. I was met with professionalism and care from the moment I called and spoke with Sadie to schedule an appointment. The office was welcoming, (not to mention immaculately clean!) and the always personable Dr. Laurel Douglass conducted a thorough examination of my cat. She performed the necessary diagnostics to address the concerns I had, and she provided me with detailed information regarding these concerns. The backstory: I met Dr. Laurel Douglass 6 years ago when I rushed my cat to a 24-hour animal hospital after he was poisoned. I was immediately impressed with her calm, caring demeanor and I appreciated how she walked me through several options for my cat’s treatment. While he did require hospitalization, she personally called me to provide updates during his stay. She remained our vet until we moved out of the area. Fast forward to today: I was unable to get an appointment with my local vet as quickly as I would have liked, so, on a whim, I searched to see where Dr. Douglass was practicing. I was so happy to see that not only was she still practicing, but that she and Dr. F. Douglass have their own practice. I made the 35-minute drive to see Dr. Douglass, and would do it again without hesitation.

Best vet experience ever. They are so caring and thoughtful. The vet tech Sadie is very knowledgeable and you can tell everyone there loves there jobs. We have only had 2 out of 5 of our pets there so far but we have found our forever vet. Thank you for taking such good care of Jeffrey and Georgia

I loved the experience at this Vet. Staff was very friendly and Dr. Douglass is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. My dog Pico usually gives Vets a hard time but he seemed to really like all the staff. I will be back.

I think they have the best caring providers and the front staff as well. They were very helpful, informative, and were really sweet to my 8 week puppy as well. They made the entire first vet experience of my puppy very fun.

My son's took our puppy to this clinic on 1/27/21. Upon arriving home from the clinic the boys were excited about their experience there. I loved going to Embrace! My vet as well as her assistant we’re doing sweet and attentive with my puppy. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is on the look for a vet ????

Who agrees to see a new patient during Covid-19 on an emergency basis? Embrace Veterinary Care does! Embrace Veterinary Care agreed to see my 18 month old rescue to exam her pressure wounds and infection on her hind feet due to a dewclaw surgery gone wrong at another vet clinic. The progress she has made at Embrace in only five visits is remarkable. She is 2/3 ways recovered and gratefully loves her new Veterinarians and Sadie. Embrace’s knowledge, care, compassion, and detailed home instructions to me has allowed Olive to heal quickly and without fear of vet care. Grateful for the compassion they gave me too to ensure Olive will have a full recovery.

Came to my first visit with my pet. The doctors are awesome and they explain everything to you to keep your loves one healthy. And now I'm glad to say is I work with them and it's the best job ever!!

This is a 5 star recommendation! My year old 4 lb Yorkie had her Spade and Microchip operation last week. If was a perfect incision and is healing fast and well. I appreciate the 20 plus years of experience Dr Douglass had in Houston at Vergi and Sunset Clinic where I was her client.

My Shiz Tzu Ace just started here and I love the care that they provide. Dr. Douglas is really sweet and easy to talk to about my fur baby!
