They don't charge office visit for new clients only. Download coupon. Everyone there was very friendly and told me everything they were going to do than everything I needed to do at home for my cat Gordon. My cat Gordon even liked them he sat there while they examined him and purred while they were doing it. Usually he puts up a fuss and cries when we take him to the vet.

This clinic staff has no compassion. It is all about the money. I was very disappointed.

Refused to see our injured dog when we had an appointment scheduled already. VERY RUDE. UNPROFESSIONAL. POOR QUALITY. NOT RELIABLE. POOR VALUE.

My dog died 13 yrs ago at this hospital after a horrendous surgical procedure and i was beyond furious bc my dog didnt have an illness. The handful of times I've been there, the African American doctor didn't seem to know what he was doing and had no empathy what so ever. I still remember getting a phone call from the hospital to inform me that my dog had died and i felt robbed w no closure . The doctor was not professional at all explaining why or what happened and it was just a very cold phone call and that was it. I just got a new puppy after 13 yrs and the horrible memory all came back to me- although it was never forgotten, I certainly will not go this vet w my new puppy. So many better vets out there dont go to this one.

This is the worst VCA ever!!! They were more concerned with me standing in the lobby (where I was more than 6 feet from anyone and wearing a mask and the ONLY ONE in the lobby) where I could see my dog YET FAILED!!! To check my dog's eye to make sure the cornea was not damaged. Then tells me the treatment plan is going to be over $1300. I even had to get eye drops that did nothing to help his eye. $114.00 dollars wasted!!! I ended up taking him to a different veterinarian this morning and now he is having EMERGENCY SURGERY on his eye. When I called to leave a message for the doctor to let her know just how unsatisfactory her services were the front desk attendant only wanted to focus on my standing in the lobby. Not the FACT that they didn't examine his eye and this could have cost him his vision!!! Do yourself a favor DON'T GO HERE!!!

The staff here was wonderful. They fully explained all my options to pay for my visit and make sure my cat was set up for her transition into elderly cat-hood. Extremely patient staff and doctor was easy to reach. Everyone was professional and followed protocol for covid saftey.

The ladies at this location are rude and unprofessional. I love the other locations I've taken my pets to over the years; however, this is by far the worst experience I've encountered. If you love your pets I do not recommend taking them to VCA on Spring Valley @ Plano RD.

Needed a vet for our old dog, finally time to let her go. Even in these times of limited access, the staff here was friendly and caring, made the whole process a little less painful.

I have used Dr. Manley for 22 years and have always felt that he cared about my pet and about us.

They have zero respect for their customers. I received a text messages saying they would be closed for a week and my appointment was cancelled. Not a call just a spammed out text message. Then I get several other text messages and calls confirming my appointment that was cancelled. No calls about rescheduling. Just spammed texts all telling me to show up. I received no information about rescheduling. When I call when they are opened again. They tell me they don't have any thing available for a week.... When were people scheduling appointments? Why wasn't it a reschedule based on when your appointment got cancelled. Just absolutely terrible customer.servoce and zero respect for customers.

These people were amazingly kind and supportive of us having to Euthanize our senior dog. They let us be present when no one else would even consider it. They have is as much time as we needed with her. It meant so much to us to be with our dog as she passed over the bridge. Their kindness will be forever remembered!!!

I've used VCA Pet Doctor since I got my two kitties, Mushu and Clyde. They are given as the "recommended doctors" of the SPCA, and the Spring Valley location was the closest to me at the time. I got a free initial kitten checkup when I first got my boys back in June 2018. There I met Dr. Cleveland Manley. Extremely caring, smart, and innovative. I wanted him to be my vet for ALL visits. He was my primary vet for all their "routine" visits. However, I've had a lot of issues with Clyde having UTI's. UTI's are extremely rare in male cats, and I was taking multiple ER visits to MedVet Dallas in the middle of the night. When I brought in Clyde to Dr. Teresa Sharp, she didn't just dismiss it as "symptoms of kitty stress", but ran ALL the tests and confirmed yes, Clyde is the 1% who gets ACTUAL UTI's in male cats. After another ER scare, Clyde still didn't seem to be doing well. I brought him the next morning to Dr. Sharp. Dr. Sharp took one look at Clyde and told me "go straight to the hospital, do not pass go, I will send them a referral with my recommendation to go straight to surgery. And don't worry about our bill." she didn't even want me to have to wait and pay! She knows Mushu and Clyde by name and knows how they're doing. Clyde ended up having emergency surgery and was in kitty-ICU for 3 days, but they saved his life. Dr. Sharp saved his life by not dismissing his problems or chalking it up to "kitty stress." I will say, VCA is not cheap, but I feel like it's worth it to have TWO doctors who seem to really know my cats, and truly listen to me when I feel like something is wrong. With a proper veterinary diet, special litter, and lots of love, Mushu and Clyde have had no emergencies for over a year now. :) Even though I live farther away now, I will always bring them to VCA as long as the service remains how it is with Dr. Sharp and Dr. Manley.

The other day my dog passed away. When he passed, I took him to a different pet doctor before arriving to this one. The pet doctor before neglected attending my dog. I had to carry my dead dog in my arms because they refused to even check his heart beat to confirm. When I showed up to this pet doctor, they were locked. We had to call, but we didn’t. A nurse, Michelle, had unlocked the door for us asking what happened. My grandma was so thankful that they were willing to help. She took my dog inside to check his heartbeat and confirmed that’s there was nothing they can do. Although it broke my heart. This place opened the door and took my dog with them. So I can’t be more appreciative to her and this place. So thank you once again.

My brother has been trying to take care of his dog for the past 2 days. Yesterday he had to take her to an emergency Vet, they called me to pay by phone. He tried to take her to this hospital this morning, where we were informed "we don't take out of state money" and "we can't even punch in the billing information without you here" - they simply did not want to provide service and were trying to finds ways out of it.

My cat came in for throwing up. Dr. took X-ray, gave him shots, medicine to take home, stool sample cup for bacterial diagnostics. Total came out to be over $600... I thought; okay typical stuff I get it, and paid up. Following appointment, X-ray came back and nothing in his stomach. He then proceeds to say that I should get my cat into surgery, and basically opening him up to see what’s inside his stomach!? That would’ve costed me over $3000!!! Uhhh I’m now confused because the X-ray shows NOTHING in his stomach... Obviously I went to a different Vet and they asked me all the questions that the doctor here should’ve asked. We found out that my cat munched on an aloe plant, which is poisonous to cats. Was recommended to feed him plain food and water, and his symptoms improved.(He’s 100% healthy now) Come here if you want to be overcharged, and deal with a doctor that is in it for the money...
