Spot Pet Salon & Wash Prosper, Texas

This “spa” is ridiculously expensive and over-priced ($50 for a basic bath and nail trim for a small (under 25 lbs) dog). Even with an appointment, they make you wait almost 2 hours (or probably more) for your dog to be finished, and on top of that, they did a lousy job on the nail trim (if they even trimmed them at all). And after waiting that long, my dog was not even completely dry. Furthermore, they try to upsell you on fancy shampoos and other unnecessary items like conditioners and such. I originally had two appointments on separate days for my two dogs, but canceled the second one and would never go back.

Finally found my groomer! I’ve owned a poodle for almost 9 years and have tried several different places (and have even attempted self grooming). All of them came up short in one area or another. I am so pleased with my pups groom from this weekend. I went ahead and put him on a 6 week rotation, as well as signing up my older boy!

We’ve been going here since they opened, and it used to be good. But now they treat their customers bad and really don’t care about their customers. We have recommended them to many people, and unfortunately, multiple friends have had very unpleasant experiences with the staff (as have we) who treated them rude and as if they didn’t matter. I hope they get some competition and maybe they will step up their customer service. For now, we’ve found a great mobile grooming service instead.

I have gotten my standard poodle groomed and bathed at Spot several times and he always looks fantastic!!! The groom job has been by far the best he’s ever gotten! I highly recommend!!! The staff truly loves dogs and are always so friendly!!!

We have been going to Spot since we got our puppy and love Autumn!! She’s so good with our sweet and spirited puppy. We just had her groomed again and there were some trouble areas with her hair and Autumn did so well keeping that sweet fluffy look, even having to go shorter on the trouble spots. We can usually get in pretty quick, they are easy to communicate with and listen so well to what we want. Very professional and talented! Highly recommend!!

Pricey, they always are upselling you, and many times the cuts are not correct or good.

This place is pricey but not worth the money. I got the basic grooming services and this was how he came home. Cuts were uneven and his hairs were dried weird.

Liked it before pandemic! A little pricey but nice! I'll still go.once they open back up to wash your own dog...just boy as often as I could If the price wasn't so steep.

They did an awesome job grooming my 14 yo yorkie! Everyone I’ve interacted with has been kind and professional. I’m glad I’ve found a great groomer for my dog!!

We love bringing our little Maltese to Spot Pet Salon, they always do an excellent job and are timely with drop off, appointment length, and pick up. Sam does an amazing job grooming to our wants and expectations and we are never disappointed!

My dog is so happy when he leaves there and they are always very careful with him from his back surgery and he is an older dog. I always appreciate how well Well he is groomed. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur baby!

My rescue dog has been abused and tries to bite people who touch his paws. With past companies, we've always had to muzzle him and take 2 people to hold him in place for a nail trim. Not at the Spot! Tories handles him with such love and although he tries to nip at her, she has never muzzled him. She, alone, will get my dog to a happy place when having his nails trimmed. It's a joy that he isn't as terrified anymore.????

We started using Spot Pet Salon when my schnauzer was a puppy. A different grooming place was unable to give him a complete cut because he was "too wiggly". Cara was able to groom him perfectly and now she has been our professional with four of our dogs for several years! She is amazing! When interacting with Tory, she is precious too!!

I had been taking my dog to Spot Pet Spa for awhile mainly because there aren’t any other choices up in Celina. I have always thought they were overpriced but it was close so I paid their fee. I got into a car accident and was dealing with that and totally forgot my appointment. The lady on the phone was super rude and told me I was going to get charged a no show fee and would be restricted from scheduling anymore appointments in December. I finally got her to drop the fee but I still couldn’t reschedule. This last week I was running a little bit late for my appointment so I called to let them know. The same lady rudely told me that my appointment was being canceled. Their lack of understanding and inflexibility has made me decide to stop going there. I found a place in Frisco that is happy to accommodate me and my dog. I hope Spot gets some competition soon so maybe they will become more customer service friendly.

We LOVE Spot Pet Salon! The facility is spotless and the employees are always friendly and professional. Best of all our aussie doodle is a happy pup when we pick him up. He ALWAYS looks amazing and smells wonderful for a few weeks. Samm alway s does a great job! We won't go anywhere else!

They are the cleanest groomers around and I love that the dogs aren't there all day. Our groomer, Cara, is the best! Quick and efficient - I would highly recommend!

I have been going to this pet salon for awhile now. My little dog had some major skin problems, and they were able to get her all cleared up with their special skin treatment regimen. All of her hair grew back and there are no more scabs. She loves going there for her spa days, and the workers all seem to know and love her too. I am so thankful to have this pet salon near my home. It is also the cutest and cleanest grooming place I have ever seen.

This is a DIY pet wash or full service grooming. Reasonably priced. Curbside drop off and pick up.

We've brought our petite goldendoodle here twice to see Autumn. He has done great and she is super sweet and professional. He always comes home smelling great for days! Highly recommend!

Spot Pet Salon does a fantastic job. Cara consistently grooms our 17 year old Shih Tzu with great care and respect for her age and age related infirmities. What I really appreciate is the prompt service: deliver your dog at the appointed time and within 2 or 3 hours you receive a call that your dog is ready. Other groomers have kept our dogs for 8 to 10 hours so I could only assume that my dog was kept in a small, cramped crate for most of the day while waiting to be groomed. During CoVid this year, Spot has offered curbside drop off and curbside delivery: a smart way to keep staff and dog owners safely distanced. I highly recommend Spot Pet Salon.

Spot Pet Salon & Wash is, by far, the ultimate in a spa experience for your fur-baby! I have 5, yes count them, 5 Bearded Collies in full coat, & I take them to Cara Burgess, an artisan groomer at Spot, twice a month. I am usually early dropping them off, because the salon opens at the reasonable hour of 9:00a. Picking them up is never a problem, because Cara always does her grooming magic in about the same amount of time whenever I go, & I am prepared for the approximate time I need to pick them up. Also, booking my appointments in advance saves me a bunch of money, which I always appreciate! The staff is always friendly & welcoming, & Amanda, the salon’s owner, is quite knowledgeable of her business & products. The groomers who work at Spot are not only artisans, they get to know your fur-babies as well as you do, if not better. Every time I pick up my babies, Cara gives me her evaluation of the condition of their skin, coat, & overall attitude. My Kidz are older, so even though I go over each of them every day, I sincerely appreciate Cara’s comments regarding their apparent condition. There is not a better grooming facility in the Dallas/north Dallas area, &, believe me, I have been to many!

Everyone who works here is amazing. I've been using them for almost 3 years now with Daisy. Now that she's fully grown, and due to COVID, we went from self bathe service to using their groomer for everything. Best decision ever!
