CityVet - Prosper Windsong Ranch Prosper, Texas

SCAMMERS! This place will do nothing but squeeze money out of you. I never leave bad reviews like this but I truly believe you should be able to take your furry family members to a vet you trust - AND THIS PLACE IS NOT THAT VET. I have been going here for a year and finally switched over to a different vet who's pricing is much better for standard items (visit fee, heartworm meds, annual visit, etc.) Not only that but I have got real advice from this new vet and not just being pushed to paying for extra items just to get simple answers. Also, got straight up lied to saying that something was a state law that they were charging for/ forcing me to do and low & behold... it's not turns out. AVOID! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

First time visit for our Sr dog. Great staff! Scheduling was easy and convenient. Great Vet, caring and explained options.

This vet is full of nice employees; from the counter staff to the vet herself. I’ve always been able to get an appointment in due time as well. City Vet will be my first choice.

Dr. Choi and the rest of the team were kind, attentive, informative, and prompt. My family has recently rescued two dogs and we've been making some frequent trips to this location. We've been lucky to have Dr. Choi each time and our dogs are well cared for in a timely manner. Cheers!

The staff at CityVet are exceptional. They take time to discuss your pet, your concerns, and your goals from the visit. They also balance the safety of their staff with the comfort for you and your pet during COVID spikes. We have used them many times and have transferred all of our pets to this location. Not to mention, their prices are better than the other place even if you had insurance with the other place.

I love all the CityVet locations I've been to but the one is Prosper takes the take. I know they actually care about my dog and will discuss how much things cost before charging you. I've always felt like they have as much time as I need to ask questions. Everyone is super nice and your pet will be well treated here.

Very nice people and a very clean environment

I'm really disappointed to say this, but this place is not the place to take your beloved, deceased fur baby if you're hoping to obtain some sort of memento. It was unfortunate for me that the vet tech never sent the two orders of paw prints that I requested to the crematorium. I was told that these prints would take two weeks to arrive, however when two weeks had passed and I didn't get notified of their arrival, I assumed the cause was probably pandemic-related. Another two weeks passed with no news of my paw prints, not even an explanation as to why my orders were being delayed, so I gave City Vet a call only to find out that Charley was never tagged with my request when he was delivered to Fond Memories Pet Cemetery & Crematorium. The practice manager attempted to remedy this mistake by giving me a refund of my orders and had the crematorium engrave a necklace with Charley's name on it for me. This was a nice gesture on their part, but my feelings of disappointment and sadness about this will never be healed. I really wanted a memento that I could place in my home because I don't wear jewelry often. There was a reason why the prints were my first choice and not this necklace. Please, please save yourself from any more heartache you've already suffered from losing your best friend and family member, and do not take them to City Vet for their services. I do not wish for anyone else to experience what I had to go through.

Just switched to this vet. I was very pleased with how nice everyone was and how quickly they took care of my dog. We will be going back.

Dr. K really listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with how willing she was to help me with everything I needed to get my pup the best care possible. She made me very comfortable trusting her with my dog on our first visit, I’ll be coming back for sure!

Absolutely, hands down, best service I’ve received from a vet practice! We are new to the area and was looking for a new home vet clinic. We finally found it with this location! All of the staff members were welcoming and sweet! Answered all of our questions, and we had plenty! They welcomed our little boys and provided such gentle and effective care. Our boys were so happy with the visit. Love this location and the top notch staff.

Cannot say enough good things about the level of care the whole staff provided to us. Another vet had treated our dog poorly and handed us back to her in much worse shape than she had gone in and we were scared and desperate. City Vet Windsong ranch had no openings but saw our distress and the shape she was in and immediately said they’d help. Our pup is doing great now!

We absolutely love Dr. K and her team. We have 5 cats and a dog that all come to see her regularly. I am especially grateful to them because one of our cats had been struggling with undiagnosed asthma for almost a year before she came to see Dr. K. Every other vet wrote it off as a URI and would only offer me antibiotics and steroid shots. I brought her here and FINALLY got a diagnosis and she is happy and playing now! I've been to literally every vet in the area and CityVet is absolutely my preference.

My little one was having terrible allergies and I called very last minute and was able to get help… Thank you for being so accommodating !

Great service and friendly staff.

The techs were friendly and listened to my concerns for my pet. They informed me every step of the process during the exam and the best treatment options for my pets health. I feel that pricing was fair for the treatment. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to others.

Very communicative, and the curbside pickup was very quickly, professional, friendly, and fast. Would highly recommend!

I took my daughter’s dog there not really knowing all of her history regarding medical issues, but knowing her ears seemed infected. First the tech came in and talked to me letting me know what to expect. They then took the dog back to look at her. The vet came in and told us it was some issues that would require blood, etc. She went over the cost with us, and what each test was for. They obviously cared for my dog’s comfort as much as anything else. They ran some tests and scheduled some more. I am so glad I went there as I was nervous about what might be wrong, but the vet and tech were both so kind, understanding, and answered all my questions. I’d recommend them to all my friends and family!

This place is amazing!!! They take great care of looking at your pet and really assessing their needs. I never feel rushed or that they are just trying to get the job done. The staff is so friendly and my pet loves them!!!! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!

City Vet Prosper is on point when it comes to providing accurate, up to date, and timely information to their fur parents. We are new to Texas and have been concerned about our 2 y/o Labrador, Bella, adjusting to the extreme climate. City Vet sent out information about August being allergy season with signs to look for. Sure enough our girl had most of the symptoms. We were able to get her in the next day. Great service, caring staff all around. So glad they send out information to help keep our family members safe and in good health! Thanks City Vet!!!
