Holiday Kennels Porter, Texas

This was our first time boarding our dog Rocky in a kennel. I was nervous about it and hated the thought of leaving him. When we dropped him off I spoke to the owner Lori and after meeting her I knew I had nothing too worry about. They took excellent care of our dog. I highly recommend Holiday Kennels. Thank you!

Pam and Crissy are very nice people and loving to my dog. They are always available or try to be available for us when we’re in need of dog care. It’s a heartwarming and loving place for animals to go to. My dog gets excited every single time he goes there. Just outstanding.

There is a reason this kennel is highly rated. No frills location, they are very responsive, and the place is well kept. Very difficult to get a spot on major holidays unless you book early!

First experience boarding with them and I was very happy with them. We have a bit of a strange situation with two of our girls. One of them doesn’t like the other one. They were able to accommodate us and made it clear that the girls would be separated at all times. When I came to pick them up, they actually took the time to tell me about their stay. One of my girls is very timid, and scared of her own shadow. They made sure her stay was comfortable with them. I’ve had some bad experiences at other boarding facilities and I’m so grateful to have found them. We will use them again.

We have been taking our pets here since moving here eight years ago. They show a great level of care for the animals and our pets have never shown stress when picking them up. Their rates are very reasonable and they are amenable to carrying out specific feeding instructions. The owner lives onsite, so they're never too far away. Highly recommended!

My dogs have stayed here twice now and they are great, their prices are good and the staff go above and beyond to make sure the dogs are taken care of and your vacation doesn't get interrupted with issues. My dogs ran straight to the door the second time they went like the couldn't wait to get in.

The ladies at Holiday Kennels are absolutely fabulous! They always go out of their way for my two dogs! They are very experienced with animals. I have a deaf/special needs dog that requires a special handler willing to learn communications with her...They both have exceeded our expectations in how they handle her and all her quirks! I am completely comfortable leaving her in their hands! I can not say enough good things about the care my animals receive at holiday kennels! Highly highly recommend!!!! ????

Very good place to kennel our cat while on vacation. People are nice and caring. Never had any problems.

This is the only place we'll leave our dogs. Our schnauzers have stayed here about 10 times, sometimes for 2 nights and for longer stays. HK are always kind and professional. It's clear they love animals.

My dog Madison felt the love upon entering the place and hearing the owners voice. Usually he is nervous about me leaving him but he went off to the back without hesitation and he seemed just as at ease when I picked him up.

This was my first experience boarding my pups. Lucky almost a year and Buster a year and half. I cried when i dropped them off and again when i called the next day to check on them. The staff there were GREAT! They made sure the boys were well taken care of and reassured me that they were fine. I would use them again if we need to.

I can't praise enough Holiday Kennels. There are businesses that want to make money, and then there are businesses that exist because their owners love what they do; this kennel definitely falls in the latter category. I had one Great Dane that passed away a few years ago, and now I have two. All of them, without exception, like the kennel and the people there. Bottom line, they know how to treat dogs well. I love my dogs, and I'm always 100% confident that I'm doing the best for them when I trust them to Holiday Kennels.
