Affordable pet care is finally here! Thrive has super intuitive website to book appointments and have 2 great locations in McKinney and Plano. Took my golden retriever to diagnose his ear infection! Doctor was super friendly and answered all our questions. Explained to us in details about the ear infection cause and remedies. Overall , was worth the visit and super friendly staff ????????

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My Pablo is in good hands.

My cat is not eating and they cannot see her for a week. However if she were well they could see her today? Makes no sense.

Thrive is great! Affordable, straight forward and super easy self navigated appointment search and book via their site! I hate having to wait to call, depending on what time it is and if they’re open, begging for an appointment and having to go back and forth comparing a handful of dates before you can get anything booked. I’ve never had an issue booking an appointment the same day or next day. They’re super organized and thorough when going over the diagnosis, treatment plan and details of the billing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a no-nonsense vet office.

I’m happy that Sarah’s pet below was able to be worked in last minute and seen. I wish that had been my experience. My two dogs were booked for their annual vaccines on a Tuesday and Wednesday. The dog with the Wednesday appointment became very unwell the previous Thursday and Friday and when I called to ask if she could be seen sooner, maybe switching the appointments and see her on Tuesday, I was told it was not possible, and additionally was told they would not see her for sickness at her vaccine appointment - the soonest they could get her a sick visit was 10 days away. She deteriorated overnight (very swollen lymph nodes, weak and lethargic) and I took her to the emergency vet on Saturday where she was diagnosed with lymphoma. I was told to have her seen at her regular vet right away. They still had no appointments open and could not fit me in. I took them both to a new vet who was able to fit me in the very next morning when I called late in the afternoon. We were Thrive patients for about two years. We visited for shots and dentals and an occasional ear or skin infection. Thrive was wonderful for routine and annual care. They would be great for a puppy package for checkups and routine shots. I wish I’d had a better experience for a sudden illness. Ten days is too long - if I had tried waiting for that appointment I believe she would have died before we could make it.

We took our 13-year-old dog in for his second visit today. At his first visit, the doctor detected a rather pronounced heart murmur and recommended we have further testing done to determine his condition more accurately. Today, the doctor got a urine sample, took blood and x-rays. He called us in, showed us the x-rays and explained everything he found in detail. By tomorrow afternoon, we should have a report from a radiologist, confirming the findings of the x-rays, the results of the the blood work and the urine sample. Our visit took about 45 minutes total. We had almost no wait time, the staff are friendly, very capable, knowledgeable, professional and caring. I highly recommend THRIVE Affordable Pet Care. We are very happy to take our special little guy there.

I joined Thrive subscription for almost a year now paying the $10/month as it seemed a good plan not to pay a office visit. Since then I have tried to make more than 6 appointments and each time I was told the next available appointment was more than a month away and If i needed care soon go to the Emergency clinic and pay the office visit charges. This is ridiculous as they provide a so called FREE office visit+10% off PETCO (which I get in my mail anyways). It's a scam . When I called to cancel I was told to email - when I emailed I saw someone read my email immediately but till now has not cancelled my membership. I would want a refund of the membership fee paid as I could never use as there never is availability. Next steps - file credit card dispute and BBB complaint.

Very clean, very affordable, and very sweet staff! I drive half an hour just to see them! 10/10 recommend! Love that you can make an appointment online and add all your pet’s issues on there instead of in person.

I love THRIVE. They were able to squeeze our sweet girl in on a very busy day. Took the time to listen about my concerns and treat her.... the exam/tests/treatment did not feel rushed in anyway. They were thorough and explained everything clearly. We have been THRIVE patients for years and will never go anywhere else! ❤

This place has rotating veterinarians. You never get the same one twice. I have had the best vet I have ever encountered here and I've also had the worst Other than the veterinarians themselves the staff is always really nice and quite helpful. I give 4 stars because the majority of the veterinarians I've run into have been good I just encountered one really bad one that almost made me give this place up. But over all pretty decent.

This vet clinic has been great. All the employees (I wish I remembered everyone's name - I will update this review with them) have always been so pleasant and extremely easy to deal with. Dr. Kline was very patient when explaining how to take care of our first puppy. Dr. Jackson seems like a great surgeon and Toni the surgical assistant was very helpful when it came to asking questions and what to expect post-op. Alex helped set up our puppy Autumn's spay for his week and was extremely helpful, very thorough, and extremely patient when answering my questions.

They’re honest and so affordable. I was worried about my pets care with the word “affordable” in the name of the clinic but honestly the workers here were more knowledge and more gentle with my dog than the expensive place I went before this one.

We’ve only had 2 appointments so far but we’re so excited about our new vet! We heard about them through friends and couldn’t be happier with the service they’ve provided. (:

My baby Dot doesn't like people with that being said she didn't want to go inside but after I picked her up and brought her to the back room. My vet said Dot did very well and she is healthy!!! My experience was wonderful!! We were in and out!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF!!

Our GP needed a check up, a few shots, and some grooming services. The team was so gentle with her, that she warmed up quick and allowed them to take her in the back for grooming. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable, offered advice on feeding, supplements, and answered all of our other questions. We highly recommend them!

I love this place I only bring my cat here for all her needs very nice and gentle veterinarians and their assistance reps. My usually is not people cat she has to approach you in her time but here we been coming for couple of years she's very friendly with them and I feel I'm not over charged for the price the charge me.

This was a first visit for us. I like that their prices are very reasonable and that you can join the VIP, which would be $10.00 a month (minimum of 6 months) that offers unlimited head to toe exams (regularly $35.00 each) and plus it offers 10% off select services. The Vet Dr. Phi was nice and seemed genuinely concerned and helped us with our identified issue. Thank You Staff (all staff was nice/genuine and gentle) and Dr. Phi. Good job.

I took my new tiny Chihuahua to this establishment today. She's only 7lbs and was scared. The Vet Tech came in and was so friendly and understanding that I was a new nervous mom. The Dr came in, he was professional and personable. They gave her vaccines and clipped her nails and brought her right back to me. I would highly recommend them. Their great.

My only negative experience is they can never get us in. I even have a membership. Every time I need to get my dog in, we have to wait for at least 2 weeks, no matter what the issue. A little disappointing. Especially since they welcome WALK-INS -

The vet tech dragged my dog by her collar rather than asking me to get her to move or tucking her arm under her. They did however gender me correctly after I corrected them once and didn't argue. This is why I gave them more than 1 star.
