Petco Plano, Texas

This store is usually out of stock on the specific brands of things I buy. It is on my way home so I try, but I usually have to go the the Garland or Richardson store to get what I need.

Associates very knowledgeable and helpful!

Not a great selection of the products I want. Prices are too high. Customer service is very hot or miss

I took my dog in for his first grooming session ever. His stylist, JD did an awesome job keeping my Rocky calm! I’m very pleased at how gentle he was and my dog looked so good afterwards! I plan on using them for all of his future sessions and I will ask for JD ☺️

I want to give 2 stars for the outrageous price of the animals but 4 stars on how nice the store is and service was perfect they did ask if I needed help but noticed quickly I was just looking at prices and left me alone and didn't make me feel like I'm being followed or forgotten as I could find an employee at all times. $350 for a Ferret.... jesus that better be one of the smartest never smells ferrets I keep hearing about but never finding...

Store is convenient and close to the house.

Glad the trainer that has been there for years is still working. She amazing and very friendly. However some of the other workers not so great! Seem like they really don't want to he there! I am super friendly and talk to everyone, especially when it come to pets. The cashier was the exact opposite!

I feel like I live at Petco these days. I have lots of different pets and I prefer Petco over the other pet store. There are some of the Petco stores that leave a lot to be desired. I have purchased a small amount of fish that did not survive making it home. Unfortunately, with fish, it is sometimes hard to tell when they are sick.

It was the worst grooming experience that my dog has ever had. Misti did not take appropriate measures to make sure my dog didn’t have cuts all over her stomach area. When I picked my dog up, Misti did not tell me that my dog had scrapes everywhere. This should have been a standard protocol. I am very disappointed and will not be taking my dog to Petco Dog Grooming ever again. I am traumatized by this experience and I know that my dog is too. When I tried to call Petco, no one answered and customer service told me that it would take 24 hours for them to return my call and I didn’t hear from anyone. I will not purchase products or EVER take my dog here again.

I had a great experience shopping for my new pond. The gentleman in the aquarium section was friendly and a great help in making suggestions. I highly recommend supporting this established community location.

Bought a ball python from them, ended up dying few days later, they selling sick animals, I wouldn’t even give them a star if it was an option, I got one from petsmart and they are way better

Have a good stock of pet supplies, remember to either purchase online or take the online pricing page with you for a price match, otherwise you will pay a higher price.

Store is neat and organized. Pick up option makes shopping a breeze.

Organized, Smiling Faces, and Fast Checkout

Horrible experience. They rushed on my dog and basically told me they were going to. I scheduled her appointment for 4:15 online and they said since the close at 6 they had to rush. If that's the case you all need to update your website or call the customer to give them an option to reschedule. Since they were in a rush they decided to shave my dogs hair near bald and also cut her ear in the process. Her ear is bleeding. They did not tell me they cut her ear nor did they go over the pricing before proceeding to groom her and I ended up paying 85$ for this horrible service. My dog is not acting like herself and I will never return to this location.

I got just one word for my experience at the petco grooming service AWFUL. When I first arrived to drop my dog off, the girl who helped me was rude, she acted like I was bothering her, and she was doing me a favor by helping me. she didn't go through the services that were being provided, my bill came to $101.00, I'm not complaining about the bill but for $100, I would have liked to know what they were doing, apparently they tried to cut my dogs nails, and ended up cutting him really bad, he was bleeding all night, if I new they were going to cut his nail I would told them not to. I mean they should have been able to tell his nail were short enough, no sense by the groomer . They didn't even seem sorry that they cut him, acted like it was no big deal.Dont bring your pets here this location doesn't seem to care about the pets or customer service just to run your bill up. betas are in tiny containers. I understand that this is very common and a regular practice at big corporation chain pet stores, but its like you guys don't even care. Those are actual living creatures that are forced into tiny containers for most of their lives. I also understand that it is just until you get them to their forever home, but most of those die before they make it there. This also contributes to the idea that betas can live in tiny containers and bowls and have a full and happy life. its sad and makes me sick just thinking about it. I know that this isn't just this one store and every Petco does this, but that still doesn't justify it.
