Lakeside Pet Groomers Plano, Texas

I have taken my dog to get him groomed there multiple times and Chuck always does an amazing job. You can tell that he really cares.

I was so scared to switch groomers from the horrible experience I’ve had with my dogs previous groomer, but this place is fantastic! He looks so great and I’m so happy! Will definitely make this his new salon. Staff is also very nice! Highly recommend!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a groomer. I had Lakeside recommended by a neighbor and I couldn't be happier with the results. My mini Goldendoodle Haley has never looked this good. Darien did a great job. A lot of groomers say they do teeth brushing and nail grinding but Lakeside is the first groomer I've had that I could tell they actually did it. Grooming doodles is not cheap, but I finally feel like I've gotten my money's worth at Lakeside. My dog gets separation anxiety but when I picked her up, she was perky and happy and seemed like she had a great time. I've included before and after photos. I've already recommended Lakeside to a coworker and will send as many people here as I can.

Never wanted to bring my golden/lab to a groomers because his hair is so long. At dog age 5 I finally decided to get him a hair cut. They took great care of Kobe and made him less hairy and cleaner. I now try and bring him once a month because they take such great care of him and get him super clean. Worth the price. Love this place!!

In and out within 35 minutes, they were very patient with my cat!! Being kind and gentle to these animals is very important, my cat's had some rough expirences with vets who weren't so patient with her, so this hair cut went pretty well!! I'll definitely use these guys again. Edit: forgot to add that they only do cats on Sundays, which is a great idea. The loud barks of dogs can be quite overwhelming for cats, esspecially if they're getting groomed, so this is a great system!!

Not sure if they have new groomers but they used to do a great job on grooming my golden doodle but the last few times they have shaved him. This last time they shaved him so much that he has skin irritations. I only asked for a trim and was not asked permission for him to be shaved. My dog was very traumatized from this. Not sure what happened to the groomers before, but sadly they are not there. I won't be returning. The prices also went up but would not mind if they did a great job for caring for my boy!

Have tried several groomers, but this is the only one that my dog didn’t come home traumatized and hiding for 2 days after. I think it is because they don’t crate the dogs and they dont use blow dryers. My dog actually gets excited when she knows she going here. They do a really great job grooming too.

It was my first time to visit Lakeside and they far exceeded my expectations! The staff was very warm and kind. They helped me as soon as I got there with my three dogs and made the entire process very easy. We have gone to other groomers and I can tell you that my dogs have never looked as good as they did with Lakeside Pet Groomers! I would highly recommend LPG to anyone wanting their pet to look and smell their best!

We have three dogs who we take to Lakeside-two standard poodles and an Irish wolfhound. This is a GREAT small business, wonderful owner and really kind staff all who do an amazing job with our dogs. It’s a busy place and the prices are not cheap but you are getting what you pay for. They love the dogs and my dogs love them and they always look amazing when I pick them up. 10/10

Got the luxury bath which was $75 after tax and tip paid $90, only to find out they forgot to clean my pups ears. Not planning to come back.

So I have to say the receptionist is by far the nicest man I have ever met! And Miranda the groomer is amazing she loves on every animal as if it is her own and does a wonderful job grooming! I have to say these two made the whole experience completely fantastic!!!!!

I'm new to the area and was looking to have my dog groomed. He is my baby so I'm particular about his grooming. I went on the internet and found a few but something about Lakeside caught my eye. I have a toy maltipoo and want his face to have special attention due to the tear stains. I noticed they have the blueberry facial, So I decided to give them a try and I'm very happy I did. His groomer, Miranda, did a great job on him. His haircut was great and his face was fantastic. Very happy with everything and will be returning.

I took my baby today for a bath, brush and sanitary trim. I’ve been to 3 groomers before and this is the first time I like how she looks! Miranda was exceptional! She even sent me pictures before I picked her up. 100% recommend Miranda and will be bringing my baby back.

Deanjalo Jenkins is an ARTIST that deserves to be praised!! I have a toy schnauzer and I have never found a groomer who could do a proper schnauzer cut! He made Marty (my schnauzer) look so clean and handsome! Deanjalo is kind, gentle and professional with the dogs and I am just SO happy and grateful he is my groomer. Thanks again!!

What a wonderful place to trust your pet with. My Grand Dog King had the best nails that were shortened and polished. They did a great job cleaning and giving a haircut. Five stars for sure. Happy Customer

i have a husky mix and they did such a PHENOMENAL job on him! it was extremely pricey, but he looks soooooo good. way better than any other grooming place i’ve been to, but again, pricey

Did not do a full groom on the first time since it was my puppies first haircut and they wanted her to have a good first experience. She came home with a great trim and smelling great. People are friendly and accomedating. Edit from second visit: Took her in for a haircut and they did an excellent job with my schanuzer.

Our experience this week was incredibly upsetting. We brought in our Australian Shepherd for a full package. We fully knew that he needed the works, so we were happy to pay for a great full package. However, upon arrival at 9am they clearly had no idea we were coming even though we set an appointment and gave very clear instructions on the package we wanted. We were rushed to drop off our pet and they clearly didn't listen to us. After that we were told to return in 3-4 hours and he would be done. We came back 4 hours later and they had only brushed our dog. 4 hours. to brush our dog. The groomer then admitted he was late and asked us to give them more time. We were told to return at 3pm and he would be washed, clipped and groomed, ready to go. We gave them extra time and came back at 4pm to then be told the groomer was NEVER told to even groom the dog so his fur had not been cut any shorter. I swear we gave full haircut instructions multiple times. We then had to wait until 5:30 and I returned to be told by the groomer that "it wasn't his best work" and "he wishes he wasn't rushed" after they had my dog for nearly 10 hours. Very upset. Our dog looks choppy and messy and was clearly stressed. I paid over $100.00 for this experience and, while we tried to be as patient as possible, nothing really excuses the unprofessionalism.

Thiese groomers are by far the best in Plano. I've taken my chihuahua terrier there for years and they always impress me with how they handle my dog. The quality of the grooming is excellent too. They are all sweet and kind to dogs and people. They are reasonably priced too. I highly recommend!!!
