Dr. Liska is amazing; he really cares about your pets and always gives the best care advice for your specific situation. 10/10. The front desk staff is also very nice and helpful, as are the techs. Highly recommend this place.

Our beloved Dora passed away 11/8/2021 while boarding, the diagnosis was bloat. If you’re pet is on list, look up gastropexy, wish I had known about this. We are fairly new to plano, when we rescued Dora during Covid, we found high point animal clinic. Dr Liska was very helpful regarding her heart worm treatment. It was during Dora’s passing that left me extremely saddened by the office manager. There was an absence of communication regarding Dora’s remains on Dec 22, I finally had strength to stop by the office, where Dora had passed while being boarded to inquire/pick up and pay my bal I was told her remains had been sent to the crematory Svc. I wish I had been notified by text, email, voicemail. I then was adviced by the crematory co that this was too soon for vet offices to send back remains, they had to look for them and return my call. I have since recvd a condolence letter from the office mgr Stephanie, at my request. Thinking back, my intuition when I dropped Dora off was not a good feeling, I am overwhelmed by sadness, lack of respect that I have experienced at this place of business. Rest In Peace beautiful Dorie, we miss you.

We've been to a few different vets, but we've found our home with High Point. They do it all! Grooming, boarding, and excellent vet care. And all reasonably, competitively priced. It's a great relief to be able to board our dogs, get them groomed before coming home, and have their very visits while there.

Polite, knowledgeable staff. Convenient appointment times. Update: I’ve continued bringing my cats here for years and the great service continues. Highly recommended.

First, The front desk service is terrible. No customer service skills at all. Also, the technician that came out did not say one word to me. Very odd. No greeting from the front desk or technician. This was my second time here for my pet but I will not be back. Second, I was told that walk ins were welcome for nail trims of small animals which is not correct. An appointment is required. This is a very unwelcoming place, or they are selective as to who they treat with respect and courtesy.

Took my little dog Weenie in to see Dr. Liska for the first time and was very impressed with the whole team! They all show a tremendous amount of compassion for their profession. Weenie is a nervous little dog and the staff were all so sweet with her. Dr. Liska was very thorough and took his time throughout the exam. The hospital is SO clean too. Thank you guys for the great visit!

I've been going here for years with multiple pets, and they always provide wonderful service and it shows that they truly care about the animals

Not sure what happened to the old staff but the new front desk people are not as friendly and welcoming as it used to be. I dropped of my pet for a 4 night stay and the front desk made a smart remark when I checked in regarding daily fee. Then when I picked up my dog I got another smart remark when I asked how he did. She said: “well… he barks a lot and is very loud. But other than that I would say he did ok.”Im like really?! I also noticed ge was very agitated, thirsty and hungry once he came home. Not sure if they ate short staffed and maybe he didnt get to go out much. Usually he is tired and sleepy when we pick him up from boarding. Not happy with the change. I will not be recommending this place anymore.

As a first time dog owner, I had so many questions and each and every question was answered with patience and warmth by Dr Liska and the rest of the staff. They did not seem rushed, and carefully explained everything to me. This place was recommended to us by a couple different people and after this first visit, I am really happy I decided to take my pup here!

Took our 2 doxies in for their annual check up, shots, etc. All of the staff was friendly, courteous and answered all of our questions. Dr. Liska is the best! He treated our 2 fur babies as his own and they could tell he was a true friend because they never barked once when he entered the room or during the entire examination. The entire practice is 5-Star Quality! We are happy campers with High Point Animal Hospital!

I was referred here by someone who works in veterinary medicine and have been bringing my dogs for several years now. The level of care and professionalism is excellent. Reception always gets me in quickly and is helpful with yearly reminders. Dr. Liska & team have treated my dogs for a variety of ailments with good results. The facility is very clean as well. Highly recommended as I’m OBSESSED with my dogs

I love my vet here! He answers every question I have about my dog Ash before I can even ask it. They keep track of everything, showing my his weight changes on a graph. Also he asked if I’ve noticed any allergies and let me know when to start being on the lookout based on when Ash came in the previous year. Overall I feel confident that my vet cares about my dogs health.

Dr. Jason Liska is the best! He has been invaluable in keeping my pets healthy and in top shape. He is warm, caring, and very knowledgeable. When they do have illness or injury, he and his team always come through with fast, immediate solutions and positive results! I have several vets much closer to my location, but I wouldn't switch for anything. High Point Animal Hospital is #1 in professionalism and competency. And they're darn nice people!

Dr. Liska is excellent with our cats and dogs. All of the staff have such a clear compassion for animals. We trust them wholeheartedly with our senior pets.

We had an emergency and our vet at the time just blew us off and didn't care. It left us scrambling to find someone who could get our puppy in. Terrified and defeated our last call was placed to High Point. They immediately got us in! They did such a great job and completely eased our minds. We have now been regular patients here for a year. The prices here are on the higher end. However it is so worth the money to know my four legged family member is in excellent hands. Dr. Liska and his whole staff are such great caring, sweet people. I love them and my dog loves them. Check them out! You won't be disappointed!

From Dr. Liska to the front desk, I couldn't imagine entrusting anyone else with my pets' care. Communicative, responsive, honest, and highly competent. Our family is deeply appreciative of the surgical care provided recently (not to mention each checkup).

We found this place when our Ellie got sick 2 days before Christmas . Before we used to use Parker animal bird clinic and when we had an emergency we felt like they didn’t care. We have since transferred all 3 of our pups here and they seem to love it! Yesterday we dropped them off for boarding and each time Ellie has been back here she just prances in tail wagging and all! Dr.L is amazing and I feel that our pups are in great hands! Definitely recommend!! <3

Best vet I have ever been to and everyone there loves Buddy so much. I am comfortable leaving him there for a grooming day or for a week vacation knowing he will be loved. Dr. Liska is a fantastic vet and is so kind and just wonderful with the pets. I feel very confident taking my fur babies to him for care.

Took my dog here Sadie. She was having trouble walking and was all around weak. We thought that we were going to have to put her down. Dr. Liska was very professional, and took care of Sadie very well. The staff was AMAZING! They truly took there time with our sweet girl. Sadie is doing amazing thanks to High Point. We are so grateful that we found Dr. Liska and his team. Also they are extremely affordable. Highly recommend High Point. Thank yall for caring for our as one of your own.

These guys are awesome. You can tell they really care about helping your animals. My kitty has really bad skin allergies. The doctor here is the only vet I have been to that takes the time to try and explain what he thinks is causing it, and also what we can do. I would highly recommend them.

This is the second pet I’ve taken and I’m not sure if they have switched vets but for a routine wellness check they keep missing things. I had to point them out to the vet and all he would say is “oh I might have missed it” ....?? How can you miss a tumor, or skin parasites on my pets?? I let the first time slide but when I took my second pet the same thing happened. Someone get this Elderly man glasses then. Sadly I will not be returning.

My sweet girl wasn’t feeling well at all this morning so I called them as a first time patient and they got me in immediately. Not being able to go in with her was hard, but the front desk, vet techs, and Dr. Liska were all incredible. I am so thankful to have come across an office with such incredible staff!

Fantastic people, gentle and loving with our 'fur-baby' for her first real vet visit! Very thorough and clear communications, and clear love for the pets in their care.

I called this morning bc my usual vet was all booked but they were able to see my pup. Efficient in getting my records and being thorough. Dr wasnt in any hurry and spoke with me for a good amount of time on the phone. (Covid has you wait in your car). He seemed very genuine and caring. I just may be switching vets!
