I’ve taken my dog to so many different groomers over the last 8 years and she’s always terrified to go, I usually have to carry her out the car because she refuses to get out. Here I thought it was normal until I brought her here. She walks in, is not scared, even wags her tail when we walk in. This is also the only place where it takes an hour to get her groomed, other places have kept her 4-6 hours. I’m very happy with their grooming service and def recommend.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Nicole and her excellent staff for proving such a safe and caring environment for Shaw. He cannot wait to play with his buddies in the Zen Den, and we appreciate having them all in our neighborhood. Here's to many more play dates!

Love this place and so does my dog. So far I have only used their bathing and deshedding service. My dog is happy when we go.

My puppy and I are so happy to be able to go to Doggie Zen Den! He really enjoys puppy day care and has made such progress in the 2-3 times he’s gone already. I look forward to being able to take him to adult doggy day care once he gets a bit older. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and I have no worries about dropping my puppy off for a couple hours. He always looks well taken care of and loved on. So thankful for this place!

We had taken our golden retriever here Leo to get a trim after receiving lots of recommendations to go here, especially for Golden Retriever cuts. I had even made a note for the groomer Tomas to lightly touch up his tail and feathers, and to just trim the sanitary area. We got the text Leo was ready to be picked up, and his tail is cut EXTREMELY short and his front and back tail feathers are gone. His tail it is so short and his butt is blocky also. I was upset once seeing him because his groom was nothing like I had asked for and the front receptionist stated the groomer had left already for the day, so I was unable to speak with him. The haircut was overall patchy and I wish they would have left his tail, as I stated in the notes. They didn’t charge for the groom due to the miscommunication but I would never recommend this place for grooming let alone for golden retrievers.

I have been taking my dog here for almost 2 years. he's definitely skiddish and difficult when it comes to grooming and they're amazing with him.

Recently took my Belgian Malinois, Harley, here for 2 weeks of boarding and training and she had a blast! Staff was very friendly every time I called to check on her and let my husband and I visit her during her time there. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

My dogs love this boarding facility and the people there. They are true pet lovers and want the best for my fur babies. They always go in happy and excited to be there.

I was referred to this business by my veterinarian for boarding and play. My dog doesn't do very well in very crowded facilities, and they intentionally keep their play groups small. My dog had a blast - we will definitely go back.

A safe and awesome place. We have been bringing our dog Ryder here for a few months now and he loves it. The facility is super clean and well kept and staff are friendly and professional. We love that they offer one stop shopping. In addition to daycare, Ryder has been in training with Nichole with awesome results. They have also handled the introduction of my daughter’s new puppy to our large older lab in a few safe sessions. The convenience of onsite available grooming has also been a great help for us. The peace of mind that comes with knowing that our Ryder is happy and safe makes our once a week, 35 minute drive to Doggie Zen Den well worth the trip!

Update: BE WARNED- "Not liable for anything that happens to your pet during their stay" Note: Make sure to ask for paper work or a contract before leaving your animal! Disclaimer: Business switched owners My 5 month old contracted kennel cough from this location. It has been over 4 months now and Ellyn (previous owner) has not contacted me or stated any concern for my friend. My dog was severely sick for about 3 weeks, shortly after I lost my other animal under my care due to illness and was put to sleep. I paid for a two week day training service and still to this day have no received my full service for the 1500$. With vet bills and the cost to put my other dog down I ended up spending close to 3000$. New owner did contact me almost a month after but as issue occurred two weeks before she came, no one holds responsibility. I requested a refund due to all the troubles and the answer was no.

I just took my corgi to Doggie Zen Den for the first time and loved the experience. We found Doggie Zen Den through Tik Tok and I wanted to give them a try. I booked a grooming (with no haircut) and a de-shedding appointment for him. From the first initial phone call to make an appointment- I knew the staff was going to be extremely friendly and professional. I was very pleased with them! After I picked my dog up, he smelled so good and looked so happy… plus they put on the cutest bandana on him! My corgi can be super reactive sometimes & not the most cooperate pup when it comes to grooming but they claimed to say he did super well even with his nail trim. I was so impressed and surprised by how well he did. I’ll definitely take him back for future grooming!

We’ve been bringing our 2 dogs here for several years— they’re both relatively small dogs; one weighs 10lbs, the other is 14lbs. A week ago, we took them both in for grooming. When they were released from the groomer’s care, our 14lb shih tzu mix was limping and refused to eat or walk— she is normally extremely active and loves food, so it was strange. Additionally, her eyes were extremely goopy, and watered nonstop. Upon visiting the vet the next day for an emergency checkup, we discovered that she had suffered bruising on her back and her spine was lightly sprained. She had also been exposed to an irritant that was affecting her eyes. She was prescribed eye medication, pain killers, and a back brace. We contacted Doggie Zen Den inquiring as to what could of caused this while our dogs were in their care and they evaded any accountability. We recommend not bringing your pets here— this was the first time this has happened to us, but when it comes to our animals, one time is all it takes. Our shih tzu appears to be recovering well on her medications, hopefully the injuries she suffered do not lead to future issues with her health.

I took my dog here for grooming for the first time recently and I could not be happier with the results! My dog is usually very nervous but the staff took their time with him to make him comfortable! I love the groom he got and I thought the price was very affordable! Totally recommend the doggie zen den!

Our pups have been at Doggie Zen Den for care-day and boarding several times and they have always taken a great care of our girls. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after our pups while we are away. Thank you for all that you do. It’s greatly appreciate it.

We have been bringing our dogs to get groomed for a few years now. They are always happy and look fabulous when I pick them up. Ellyn, the owner, is always enthusiastic and attentive when we see her at the Zen Den. The staff is helpful and accommodating; which is especially reassuring during these stressful times.

Every dog deserves the Doggie Zen Den! The staff REALLY cares about your dog - their happiness and their safety. I am so glad I can bring my dog here and know that they are well taken care of.

This is not a happy place. I immediately regretted leaving my husky there. We weren’t really greeted and the employee didn’t even greet my dog. Instead she acted annoyed that he was jumping. He was nervous and just being a typical dog. He wasn’t out of control or anything and I was watching, waiting to see if she would pet him or talk to him at all. Nope. Just put the leash around his neck and PULLED him away. This was all after we waited for her to be done answering phone calls. It was obvious there was an employee shortage. Won’t be back. Price was higher than I would normally pay as well. All unfortunate because the groomer actually did a good job. I cannot believe they claim to be “upscale.”

***Long Review*** 1 of 2 After researching different places that had training, we saw that Doggie Zen had some of the best reviews. We decided to go forward with it knowing that the trainer had Aussies. We have one Aussie that needed leash training and an Aussiepoo that needed leash training and help with his confidence. The training started off with a phone conversation with Bethany, the trainer. She was very nice and asked us what training we needed for our pups. Dexter, our 3 year old male Mini-Aussie needed help with leash walking. He tends to pull when he sees other dogs and squirrels and with a baby coming, we needed him to not pull so we can go on walks as a family. Our other dog is a 3 year old dog Minnie Aussiepoo named Niko, he needed help with the same thing and also needed some socialization. He is a bit timid and scared around other dogs. That’s why we thought bringing them to a daycare that also offered training was great. We started with basic obedience training where they learn place, sit, down and walking by your side. The first day that we brought the dogs in we were greeted by Bethany, the trainer. Both of our dogs were very scared and didn’t want to stay and it was heartbreaking to see them resist. We have brought them to other daycares and they were always so happy. But we figured this was good for them to help with their separation anxiety and for training. It’s an 8 hour day, we drop them off at 9am and pick them up at 5. I believe training is about an hour or two a day and the rest is daycare. They also get nap time in the middle of the day. After a long day, we were excited to pick them up after their first day to see how they did. Each owner goes in one by one because of Covid restrictions and there are times when there are 2-4 people waiting outside. When it was our turn to go inside, the receptionist tells one the staff to bring out the pups. It’s usually Bethany, the trainer but there are times when it’s another staff member. I like when Bethany brings out the dogs because she had them trained to relax and walk by her side and she would tell us how they did. We expected a little bit more explanation on how they did for the day. Like if they played with other dogs and how they acted. They would just tell us that they did good and nothing else. I’ve been to other doggie daycares and they would send us pictures and tell us how they’re doing and they even had cameras. This place did not have cameras nor did they send us pics. They do put pics and videos on their Facebook but I did not know this until later. We would go home with an uneasy feeling. I would have felt more comfortable if they had cameras or if they sent us updates. We weren’t even given a tour of the facilities until the end of the three week training. Each week we met with the trainer, Bethany for her to show and tell us how they were progressing. I will have to say that Bethany was awesome! We learned so much from her and the dogs seemed to be learning as well. It was more like we needed training and not the dogs. Bethany was super helpful and nice each week and we loved our sessions with her. She did recommend a slip leash to train for their pulling. By the second week, she recommended a plastic prong collar for them because they’re pulling was so bad. This also made me feel uncomfortable but we saw that it was helping them with correction. We asked Bethany a lot of questions during our 1 hr weekly training with her and she answered all of them. This is when we’d ask her how they were in daycare and if they played with other dogs and training questions. The best part of this experience was Bethany!

I have been bring teddy bear here for almost a year if not over a year now, and Doggie Zen Den have yet to disappoint me. I'm really picky about how he is groomed and how long he smells good and I have to say I'm honestly happy with the results we receive every time we visited them

The groomer that we’ve been going to for years recently made a career change and left us in need of a new groomer for our finicky toy poodle. He can be admittedly quite difficult to work on, and we were nervous we wouldn’t be able to find anyone who could handle him. Turns out, the staff here is so friendly and helpful, and Tomas did a superb job! Our toy poodle has never been so nicely groomed before! We’ve really lucked out on this one, and we’ll be sure to come back for all our dog’s grooming needs in the future!

Great Service and Wonderful Staff - Tomas did an excellent job on my GSD rescue with high anxiety. My dog came out looking like a neat trimmed gentleman who didn't act like he had a bad time at all. Highly Recommend

Wonderful place! Make sure to ask about custom stays. Depending on your pups age and temperament they may be able to have cage free playtime. Front desk person is always super sweet and helpful!!

I boarded my dogs here and got them groomed. They got to go into a play area with the other dogs everyday (doggie daycare), which was included. On that note, boarding and grooming was incredibly expensive. I left out of town in a hurry, so didn't have time to shop around. As far as the grooming, I had to take them back to get their cut fixed (both of them). It should have been less expensive for that quality of cut, but they fixed it for free and were incredibly friendly about it. Bonus, it doesn't smell bad like other boarding places do. Haha
