This was the best surgical experience I've ever had in my life. I would be so happy if I could get this level of care. From Dr. Bertrand personally calling to double check which hip needed to be x-rayed, then calling after surgery to let me know how it went, and the front desk remembering how far I had to drive (two and a half to three hours) and making the pickup and drop-off process as easy as possible with that in mind, I was blown away by the service. I am going to be sending everyone I ever meet to DVSC for surgery. The attention to detail and personal care was phenomenal. I was worried about my dog's pain levels and comfort the first night home, but he is currently asleep in his bed with his new hip under him. If it hurt, he would not be putting any pressure on it like that, so he must be feeling pretty good!

Wonderful staff, good experience. Personable doctor and staff who seemed to really care about our experience. My only concern is the time it took to get in for the first consultation, and then the time it took to get in for surgery. Clearly they are good at what they do and are in high demand.

We are pleased with our decision to have DVSC handle our dogs surgery. During our consult appt, the vet took great care in explaining the procedure and both he and the nurse showed love and attention to our dog

I was pleased that I got to visit with the surgeon in person in spite of this Covid mess! The way we were not rushed and all our questions were answered in detail.

Your center was very considerate & compassionate with us, mainly me. Our dogs are part of our family & they understood that & gave me all the options available for such an incredibly hard time for us. The time Erica spent with me everyday on the phone or in person was incredible.

Have worked with specialists/surgeons in multiple specialties at the North Dallas and Custer Road locations. Can't say enough about everyONE we encountered over the last 20 years ... professional, caring, patient, skilled! Yes, the fees can be high, but our canine kids' issues with GI, spine, skin, eyes and ears (especially ears!) have been improved through the care of the specialists and surgeons at DVSC. so many things ... surgeon skill and follow-up, chris the tech is fabulous in skill and compassion; dannon is terrific, too -- knowledgeable and patient!

Thank you for all you do. While we were hoping that our little Luna would not need her other hip replaced, we know that she is in good hands for the surgery when it happens here in the next month or so. Thank you to all the people at DVSC who have been so helpful in answering all our questions!

The surgical staff was absolutely amazing. Dr. Wilkens called me to communicate what he found in his exam and x-rays and developed the plan for surgery and pick up with me. Christopher was clear and thorough with his explanation and discharge orders. You could tell our dog was very well cared for and we loved the easy payment, great instructions, and the caring staff.

Everyone at DVSC was very caring, and took great care of our dachshund, Hazel before and after her back surgery. We received daily updates while she was in the hospital, and the vets and techs made us feel at ease. Hazel is home and doing very well.

The staff is great with My baby! super friendly and caring! Facility is clean, and organized and the staff is outstanding at communicating.

Greatly appreciate the care and professionalism shown by the staff at DVSC in Plano and Frisco. There's always going to be fear when your dog is going through a major procedure, but they went to great lengths to inform me of all aspects of the process, and help me through it. The cost estimate was a low-high range, detailing additional costs that could occur due to complications and possible follow up appointments. It made life so much easier to be given all the information, so I could make informed decisions. I hope that there is never a need for their services in the future, but I know that I can trust them if it happens.

My cat had to get a PU surgery after developing multiple blockages. I was very happy with the assistants, techs, and surgeons I spoke to before, during, and after the procedure. They were all very helpful with further questions and concerns all throughout the multi week healing process for my cat. I was able to send photos of my concerns and they would quickly get back to me by either email or phone. They were always very helpful and supportive of me calling and asking them about any concerns I had and staying on top of things—they never made me feel like I was calling too much or anything. I’d highly recommend them for those specialty surgeries such as a PU!

Unfortunately this is the second surgery my pup has needed. Fortunately I knew exactly where I was going to go for help. This team is awesome. So professional and compassionate- I know we are in good hands. What a relief during a vulnerable time in our lives! Your warmth and compassion (in addition to the surgical excellence) is so appreciated.

Doctor remembered my dog from her first torn ligament on her second round of visits :) and thanks for letting me enter with her—would have been hard on me if it was all via phone with only her going in like at the emergency vet and her regular vet. Good "bedside" manner and explanations from the doctors too- much appreciated.

Great care, had my daughter dog's knee repaired there, now she is back to normal.

My Bulldog had to have TPLO surgery and they did amazing with her!! Answered all of my questions, took such good care of her and even loved on my sweet Luna!!!

The doctors and staff did an excellent job explaining the procedure and after care. They seemed very knowledgeable as well as consistently courteous throughout the process. I appreciate how well they kept me informed.

Dr Wilkens was very knowledgable and put our pet's needs first. He was very kind and patiently answered all my questions. I could feel that he loves animals and it really comforted me. Everyone on the staff was very nice, including the tech that came out to the car, he was extremely caring and understanding, would definitely recommend.
