This review is way too late but it needs to be said. Its owned and operated by demons that treat their staff like trash. I hope you don't mind your dogs being watched by temps they hire off the internet because they fire anyone that sneezes wrong. I learned this from my sister that used to work there. My own dog was mauled twice and the dog that did it was never banned because the owner was "a regular". All they care about is making profit. Literally just look at the place, its a glorified warehouse with bedroom sized outdoor spaces. There are MUCH better options.

We are very happy with the service Camp Bow Wow offers, primarily because they have someone in the pen with the dogs constantly supervising them. Furthermore, the cameras and the corresponding app gives us peace of mind. The people are really friendly also.

Camp Bow Wow was such a God send while we went on our honeymoon! As an anxious dog parent, knowing my dog can be trouble, I was able to use the cameras to check in on him during the day! He came back to us happy & exhausted. We are so grateful for his time there & will for sure use them again.

This is our second Camp Bow Wow location experience, having moved from McKinney to Plano. The staff at this location are just as friendly, knowledgeable and happy to see us, so their corporate training model must be doing something right! The manage Dianah was happy to answer all my questions.

Edit to add on 12/10- DONT GO HERE! She boarded here over Thanksgiving. 5 days after picking her up she ended up getting Kennel cough even though we got her Bordetella shot/booster and canine flu shot 3 weeks earlier. Needed to give her coughing pills and antibiotics to address it. The small cut I mentioned originally ended up turning into a skin infection where she got multiple sores on her belly where the cut was. Vet prescribed SIMPLICEF. Pulled this info from Google on what Simplicef is used for. SIMPLICEF is indicated for dogs with skin infections (wounds and abscesses) caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus intermedius, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus canis (Group G, β-hemolytic), Escherchia coli, Pasteurella multocida, and Proteus mirabilis. Use a person through Rover (Rover.com). We have used Rover previously for doggy daycare but thought we’d try a boarding company for our first time boarding our girl. What a mistake. Don’t use this place!! Original post from 11/29 I picked this place because of the cameras and their screening process for dogs. However, while watching said the cameras on the first day and within the first maybe two hours of her being here for the first time, my girl was repeatedly humped by other dogs even while standing right next to the worker. We assumed he would stop it but instead has his back turned to all the dogs while talking to another employee in the other pen area, completely ignoring the dogs in his pen. We had to call the place to ask they stop it after the 2nd time ended with my dog trying to move away and the 3rd time was about to start with the other dog following her, all in the matter of minutes. If you have a long hair dog, don’t bring them there. Even if you pay for the brushing, they will come back matted. We brushed her extensively before we left and her hair had no mats. She’s a goldendoodle with longer hair so it’s a task. We paid for the wash and long hair brush and blow dry as a way to help keep up with her grooming while we were gone and wash off anything from boarding for 3 nights. Well she came back super matted, her hair had been cut by her ear by the staff because of how bad one of the mats were and they didn’t even get it all. The worker said he brushed her twice but it looked like he never brushed her at all. I’m not sure what brush they are using but it seems like it’s a $5 brush from Walmart end not a good slick brush/metal comb combo necessary for long dog hair. The wash didn’t even do a good job because she had this faded black spot the size of a large orange on the side of her back right leg. She had a small cut on her belly to top it all off. We did not have a good experience and would not trust to bring my dog here ever.

The staff is super friendly. The camp theme is so cute and fun. We have had bad experiences at a daycare where we previously lived so we were nervous to try out someplace new. They always seem happy to take him and I know he can be a handful! Love camp bow wow Plano.

Camp Bow Wow Plano has the best, friendly, and professional staff. I don't have to worry about the care of my dogs. They treat my dogs like part of their family. I drive pass many dog boarding and day camps to go to Camp Bow Wow Plano.

I just took my dog for her second daycare visit last week and I had a great experience. Since she is new to this, I have been a helicopter mom and have been checking in on the cameras a lot. My dog has a lot of social anxiety so this is one of my attempts to help her with that problem. During this visit, another dog seemed to get annoyed that my dog wouldn't play with her so the dog backed my dog into a corner and barked at her for a little bit. When the person in the room was unable to get the dog to stop doing this to my dog, they took that dog out of the room for an hour. It wasn't really that dog's fault but I am glad that they took precautions and were really paying attention to my dog as well as giving her space. Also, I would like to thank all of those who were in the room that day for letting her jump in your lap and giving her cuddles. It's good to know that the employees really do care for our pets. I have watched cameras for a couple of minutes at other locations on random days to see how those employees act and I can tell you, the employees at the Plano location, do a much better job with paying attention. I will continue coming to this location. Thank you!
