So I took my little Yorkie Poo (Koko) on Dec 22nd 2021 for a grooming appointment she had. Long story short they gave my baby to the wrong customer when they were through with her grooming and the other customer actually took my dog. This happend because the other dog had the same name as my baby and was a small white Maltese...which looked somewhat like my dog. I think Petco should make sure to always ask the customer's name before they hand the dog back to the owner; this way it ensures the owners name matches the name on file for the pet. I was very upset and crying like crazy because someone else had my baby. They did eventually get my baby back for me but the damaged had already been done. I'll never take my baby to Petco again!!!

Super happy with the fact they took care of my fur baby. Next day appointment available. They asked me for his medical history and any health conditions as well as proof of vaccination; then bathe him, cut his hair, trimmed his nails, and got him all cute up and ready to the most important task: ring bearer. Yuuup! He did it proudly.

The employee that helped me was extremely tentative and informative with everything. 10/10 would come back. Deserves a raise. A RAISE I SAID.

Best of the best pet needs

Service is a minimum effort at this store. I know it's hard to find help these days, but do you think maybe you could train the help that you do have a little better?? It's bad enough that you want an arm and a leg for pet food, but you could at least have someone there that knows a little bit about what your selling?? Pathetic!

Great store! I never have any issues, I just run into out of stock issues. Overall great experience nonetheless.

Very organized store, despite going through renovations! Friendly folks and the animals look very healthy. Thats the MAIN thing my wife and I care about.

We recently moved to Austin and needed to groom our Golden doodle. He is 5 years old and we always trim his hair short. He always ends up looking beautiful but they did such a terrible job. We normally paid $85 at other places but they charged 140 to do the same things and did the worse job. So disappointed. They literally shaved only some parts.

Brought our little guy for grooming and as I was checking out, I had lots of trouble with the application, internet, etc.... Autumn graciously helped me through the tedious process, and finally got it to work, and applied my discounts. She was so kind and patient, as she walked me through the steps.

10/21 Very disappointed with the grooming services took my little doggy today that I knew was matted on her legs and was explained that her haircut would be short but omg really that short!!!! She’s been to other grooming places very matted and they never leave her sooo bald AND the prices are ridiculously expensive my dog is a 7 pounder and was charge 90 dollars because you guys decided to add on a treatment that was not even discussed with me nor approved by me. When my daughter went to pick her up she was still getting groomed and she stated that the groomer kept on tugging on my poor dog .

Lauren is the most amazing trainer ever, she is a treasure and really makes the store. She takes a personal interest in each of the dogs she trains and is genuinely invested in getting each one what they need. I know I got better service with her than at a more expensive place and will forever be thankful we got to work with her.

I got my dog a bath and feet, face and.sani service. They did not do the feet or sani and it has been difficult with getting a redo due to their busy schedule. Also, I don't mind tipping sometimes but they ask for it at the register before I see my dog. I have tipped before and then found out that the job was not satisfactory. Plus why does everyone feel they need to be tipped. The groomers get paid. I'm sorry if they don't make a lot of money. Maybe Petco should not charge so much and pay their employees better.

They do a great job grooming our Lg. breed dog.

09/21. Veterinary staff, Mike B thought it was a good idea due to ‘Regulations’ to muzzle a baby chihuahua. Seems Mike is afraid of a tiny puppy ? Not sure why he would want to pursue the vetearan route; if you’re that intimidated of a puppy look for a different career path. - Mike’s personality as a person being there seems really miserable. Wasted my time off work to not get my dogs vaccines today. Thx Mike.

I love this petco. I get my dog trained here, it has gone great. He has learned a lot and really improved at home. The employees here are always friendly and will remember your dogs name and he always gets excited to see his petco friends. The dog trainer is very knowledgeable about many things to help your car or dog, often based on experience. I am always happy to bring my dog up here to say hi even if im just grabbing the essentials and he loves it too ????

The location is conveniently close to to my home. The staff were friendly and helpful. The layout was clean, organized and inviting. They had exactly what I was looking for and I'll definitely be back soon.

They are redecorating with more than "pretty" in mind. There are windows the width of the grooming stations. It's quiet & comfortable for our best friends & family. Everyone can see the cleanliness & every move the groomers make. I expect we've all heard some horrific stories, so be assured; not at my Petco! The staff could know a bit more about the products they carry, but they seem willing to go the extra mile with a smile & I happened to walk into a good sale. So, "Yes," I took my smile with me. Enjoy!

The cashier was friendly and very helpful. Other employees assisted me, also. I enjoyed seeing all of the dogs the customers brought in.
