Dr Vanderford is amazing. He is so thoughtful and caring. He explains everything and provides options for moving forward if your pet is sick. I have never felt like he is pressuring me for expensive tests. He has been exceptional and genuine in caring for my 2 cats. He will always answer all of your questions. I just appreciate his expertise and caring sense so much. The receptionist Kaitlyn is also very sweet.

My dog had an acute spine issue. Brought him in and the Dr. Ordered an MRI and honestly didn't determine the issue other than it was degenerative. Prescribed pain medication that made my dog very ill. The Dr. Advised I call if anything was needed. I both called and emailed and received no response. My dog is my child. I did not appreciate the lack of concern.

I had been looking for several months for a veterinarian for my 3 kittens and had had so many bad experiences with past doctors who lacked the care and attentiveness that Dr. Virgen at Westside has for her patients. This is truly a great place to take your pets!

You guys should have a bird bath or something out front????????

I love this place! I miss them, since I moved to NYC the quality of care for my dog has dipped a bit. However, I will stick with VCA. Pearland VCA thank you for everything.

Don’t bother paying for the Care Club, as they hardly ever have any day of walk-in availability, and you can’t use it at other locations. It’s really disappointing when you need them to see your pet urgently and they aren’t willing to do so.

Staff are very kind and attentive to your animals' well being. My elderly dog needed her teeth removed and they were very timely and kind towards us and her throughout the while process. The prices were fair too.

I took our newly adopted rescue yesterday after she got sick on us. We just got her Saturday & by Monday night she was sick, diarrhea, coughing, and throwing up. I couldn’t get her into our vet until Thursday, my vet recommended this place. Sure enough they had us in for a walk in, the wait was only about 10 mins. They ran all the tests needed after the parvo test came back negative. I’m so excited they were able to get her in ASAP & diagnosed quickly! Sure enough she’s back to her self! THANK YOU VCA!

I have never sat so long waiting on a Veterinarian in my whole life and I have had to wait at VCA Emergency Room before. About 95% sure they forgot we were even here. 2 hour waiting is unacceptable in my opinion and very unprofessional. Glad they are not my vet (taking pet in for elderly family member). The Veterinarian was nice when he finally made It into the room but waiting that long puts a bad taste in your mouth. I was pleased with the Veterinarian but not the way things were handled with the waiting part.

Be careful what preventative medicines they say they’re giving you. They said they gave us “flea and tick” preventative, and I even called to confirm after finding a tick on my dog. Upon further investigation, the preventative they gave me does nothing for ticks. I’m pretty disappointed at their lack of effective treatment. Additionally, I was about to move cross country and had an issue with my cat’s sedative- called a few times and they kept saying they’d call me back but never did. She was miserable the entire trip. Dr. A really cares and I’m grateful for her excellent communication. Prices are fine and they’re willing to tell you when there are items (specialty food, cone of shame) that you can buy elsewhere for cheaper. Also, they are very bad at documentation. Tried getting all three of my animals’ information sent to a new vet and they lost one of the records sets.

I tried to get my sick dog a same day appointment, called and spoke with Ashley, she said the Vet was busy, but would call me back. Never did. I called after waiting 3 hours, Ashley didn't remember talking to me. I asked if I could still get a vet to see my dog, her answer was a rude and abrupt "no". I have been taking all four of my dogs to westside for 6 years and was satisfied, not this time. I wasted all day waiting to get a call that never came, now I am looking for a new vet clinic.

As always the staff was polite, the doctors called me with a report and it was a a positive experience for all.

I had an emergency with my 6 wk old pup today and this office saw me quickly. Especially with everything going on right now. They were so sweet and comforting to myself and my pup. Thank y’all so much! This is now our new vet!

Great care and a reasonable price. Joseph was especially patient, caring, and thorough with me and my dog for our urgent walk-in visit. The vet made sure we were taken care of and answered all my questions to get him back in good health. This was my first visit, and will definitely be returning!

The service is great. I wouldn't recommend walk-ins as you could be sitting in your car for hours. Make sure you make an appointment despite what they say even, if it's for meds.

My doggie had an emergency visit and they were very prompt and professional. They were also very caring in a time of need. It meant a lot me.

Highly recommended. Yesterday my Lucky dog went to the VCA animal hospitals to treat her scabies. Today she was much less and happily. I appreciate Dr. Anne Serra .God bless You and your family Dr. Anne .

The vets and techs have always been friendly and helpful. Dr. Bertoleni is exceptional with our animals and genuinely loves all animals. It's too bad there is not a large animal vet who can travel out in the field for vaccinations and consultation.

I love VCA Westside Animal Hospital! The staff really care about you and your pet! They take the time to know you and your furry family member! I can not reccomend them enough and will drive hours out of my way to take my dog here!

Caring vets and staff who were very patient with my rescue pup and got us in at the last minute when we really needed some help. We were new to their practice and they were absolutely wonderful! I would recommend them.

Absolutely amazing doctor and staff!!! My dog ingested rat poisoning and my husband called and we were instructed to bring her in immediately. Upon arriving, they were waiting for me and the doctor took my dog back immediately and began care. I’m so thankful for them and the care they provided for my Daisy. I highly recommend this clinic!

Best vet in Pearland hands down. The staff are very thorough & extremely caring & compassionate. They squeezed my sick cat into their already booked full schedule & didn’t make us feel like we were an inconvenience like some of the other vets in this town. Great customer service & patient care!

Excellent staff, excellent pet care! I’m extremely protective of my pup & I was looking for a great place for her to get shots etc. This place is awesome I would totally recommend it.

Quick in and out service. I also got an appointment quick for my dogs booster shots.
