I took my cat there to be seen because she hadn't urinated in 2 days and she has had gall stones in the past. I got there at 7:05 am and their website said they close at 8:00. They wouldn't even look at her. The girl that answered the phone was extremely rude.

Took there sweet time taking in my dog (who was bleeding out after a feral dog attack) despite us having called in advance. They started talking about price within the first conversation. I never got the email they said I should receive. And when I beat on the door for them to take my dying dog they wanted to argue with me about it instead of caring for my baby (who is almost 14 years old). This is the only emergency clinic nearby so we have no other options.

Wish I could give them a zero, their a rip off. Even after my vet told them my cat didn’t need half the stuff they said he needed. They still wouldn’t come down on price. Charge me at thousand dollars to Modern term overnight. Alright paid 2500 for major stuff at my vet but because it thanksgivings I had to take him here. Rude staff, told my vet on speaker phone she couldn’t stand outside all night. Because he was trying to find out why it was costing so much.

Fast but would only recommend if its your last option. They are all about the money. Walked away in tears and a $2000 bill only to be sent to my regular vet the following Monday.

Dr. Lisa Linton was rude and extremely disrespectful. She wont listen and won’t let me speak when I was trying to explain my pet’s situation, she told me my Cat wont make it till the end of the week and that I should put her down. 2 months have passed, my cat is still alive and well and healthier than ever, Lisa. You really should listen to the pet’s parents and what they’re trying to tell you, instead of interrupting them and telling them to put their pets down.

Called 11/20/21 asking about euthanasia for my sick elder cat. The woman wo answered around 10am was rude and absolutely heartless. Didn't show any compassion or care. We wanted to know about an appointment and she basically said that the hospital was very busy in a rude way as well as telling us that it was going to be very expensive and ask if we could afford it. She was hard to talk to all the way. What expectations can we have when the operator is answering calls like this. Why is she working in customer service when it looks like is the last thing she wants to do. Disappointed to say the least. Called some other places where the people answering where empathetic and very understanding of our situation but unfortunately they didn't have appointments available this day.

Beware if you are bringing animal in a really critical condition. Stuff does not triage animals based on the severity of the case. Only in order of admittance. Your pet can be fading in their care for 3-4 hrs waiting in the cage to be seen. My foster kitten was admitted around 8:30 pm and I have been able to go over treatment plan only after midnight, while describing at admission he is severely dehydrated and womiting, no liquids or anti-womiting meds were administered. Dr Lipton finally met with me short after midnight. She was telling me she cannot do subcutaneous fluids because cat is womiting (????) means 3,5 hrs kitten was slowly dying there with no water or meds. She was more interested if I am going to leave him overnight, than they will start fluids, not at any other case, and will do PCV if I agree on blood transfusion if result will come low (score them another $500). I asked to release the kitten to my care if they not going to do SubQs right away. And agreed to pay for meds and visit. Payed at 12:20 and guess what???? Kitten was released to me at 1:18 am. When I asked nurse did they even try to give him water through syringe to see if he could get some, she told me she does not know, I need to see treatment plan. That was only elaborated with me after midnight, so, no liquids for severely dehydrated baby. Compassionate level is below grave. All I came to the ER was to ask for urgent fluids and anti-womiting meds, at 8:30 pm, only Reglan was injected around 1 am. I was sent home with strongid/albino/ponazuril and suggestion to give him fluids through syringe feeding. Mittens passed away at 3:09 am, because it was too late and his body just gave up

This place should only be used in a last resort situation. They do not run tests and try to figure out what is wrong. They try to do the most expensive surgery possible when all that is wrong is a UTI. So glad we did not allow the vet here to fear monger. Also, when i did not agree with the diagnosis and suggested they run tests the lady got mad.

This hospital was available when we did not know what was wrong with our puppy. Yes there was a very long wait, however, it was a holiday weekend. They were also very accommodating even though I had told them someone in our house tested positive for Covid. They treated our pet with respect and let us know their findings. Unfortunately, it was a terminal diagnosis that devastated our family. Dr. Linton was extremely informative and polite. We were even given a discount on services to help pay for the treatment. We decided to try and help our pet at home, but after a day, we ended up bringing her back for euthanasia. (It was a holiday weekend so our vet wasn’t open on Monday) We knew going to an ER vet, the fees would be much higher, but the employees and Dr were extremely understanding. Dr. Linton called me to tell me how brave we were for making this hard, but selfless decision for our pup. Since we did have Covid exposure, my husband could not be inside during the procedure, so they brought her out to him one last time and gave him a moment of peace. That is truly something special that he will forever remember. Thank you so much to Dr. Linton and her team! We are forever grateful for you!! The Roman’s

Had an injured cat dumped at my house and because I'm not willing to be financially responsible they couldn't help nor would they give me any numbers for rescues. I guess they're ok with this poor cat suffering.

My elderly dog had been declining and last evening it became clear it was time to say goodbye. Since it was after hours I took her here. The staff were so kind. They provided information on all options and were emotionally supportive as I made a decision I had been anticipating for a while. I appreciate their compassionate care for both Sadie and me.

Great communication, fast service, honest and compassionate. I especially love that this emergency clinic transfers care to your vet so you do not have to pay the outrageous daily care rate 24hr places charge. I have used emergency vet care a couple of times and this place by far has been the best. My vet recommended this clinic along with a few others closer to me and glad I chose to drive 30 minutes out of the way. The initial visit alone was $30-$40 cheaper than the others. The receptionist was informative and quick to send me the registration form to complete prior to coming. When I got there, I notified the receptionist via call (not allowed in due to covid concerns…understandable). The nurse came and took my cat in within 15min of arrival. There were several people there before me so I expected to wait a few hours. Within 1-1.5hrs, the vet called me, discussed his findings and recommendations. He left no detail out and provided me notice of all the “if we find this, we will have to do this” scenarios. The tests performed were expected and he did not recommend “unnecessary “ tests. He provided me with an estimate, I agreed and he then passed me over to the receptionist. The receptionist took my payment and let me know what to expect for pick up the next morning. When I picked my cat up to transfer his care to my vet, the doctor called me, explained all that they did in detail and provided follow up care instructions. Two techs/nurses brought my baby out with all of his medical records a copy of his X-ray, my bill and discussed his medication needs. To my surprise, I even got a refund! When I reviewed my bill, I was happy to see that it was not itemized and that I was not charged for every little thing (gloves used, booties, gauze, etc) like other emergency clinics do. By the time I made it to my vet (50 minutes away) the clinic had already faxed the medical records over for review. Any animal emergency clinic you visit, you can expect to pay a large sum of money but this visit did not cost me what I had expected to pay and I feel they were reasonably priced in comparison to other vet emergency places. If I ever experience another animal emergency (knock on wood) I will definitely make the trip here. Thanks to all the staff members working the evening of 7/2/21! Y’all were great!

Dr. VanDyke and her team did a great job taking care of my 5 month old puppy who had parasites. Our puppy started getting serious GI symptoms in the middle of the night at 4 am and this clinic was the only one willing to take her in. They were very nice, explained everything and treated her correctly. Took her to her primary care vet 4 days later and her parasites were gone and she's feeling much better. Thank you for helping us in this time of need!

My son's brought my dog in late lastnight because she was struggling to breathe, when they got there the employee was passive aggressive, rude, and rough with my dog. They were yanking her real hard while my dog struggles to breathe. In the end they said (after 3 hours of waiting) that they couldn't help her and sent her home.Worthless trip and employees are are mean.

I cannot say enough about this group. They were so professional and communicated with us throughout the two nights our cat was there. They were always so polite every time I called about Fiona. We are so blessed to have had them working on Fiona. Dr. Linton was very good at keeping us informed. Totally recommend this practice.

I was worried my dog had something stuck in her throat. They saw us at 9 pm on Friday and removed a cap stuck on the back molar. She’s now back to her happy self. Very reasonably priced for the urgency. Here’s the happy customer!

As a common courtesy, the first desk should let everyone know you will be in for a several hours wait, and your animal will be placed inside of a cage for that period of time. For pets, who have anxiety issues, this is not a good thing. It did not surprise me that I was told my animal was not happy with being seen. I spent between $110 and $140 dollars between the visit and medicine and my dog was given two diagnosis. When I followed-up with our vet, he refuted one of the diagnosis the emergency clinic gave as well as the cause of the second diagnosis. Money wasted and lesson learned that unless my dog is in a life threatening emergency find another emergency clinic, if not try to squeeze your dog in for an appointment with the vet. Money wasted and worried for nothing.

Although my little boy didn't make it, I appreciate the care and concern you all gave him during our visit. The check-ins were helpful with lowering the anxiety surrounding the circumstances. We will miss our little guy dearly. Thank you all for everything! Our Vet Tech was so sweet and if ever we need emergency care for another one of our babies, we will definitely return.

We brought in a rescue puppy Sunday afternoon. We weren’t allowed inside and were told we were required to stay there. Five hours in the heat later, the vet recommended he be euthanized because the owner was “imagining”he was able to run and play previously. The staff person who offered bottled water and a blanket for a pillow is the sole person who had empathy.

I would not send my worst enemy to treat here. They run every test possible to rack up the costs, never sent me a receipt or copies of the xrays they took (even after two requests and having received full payment) they are rude and could not care less about the care of animals here. This place is sadistic.

Compassionate and extremely knowledgeable veterinarians and staff. As the owner of Silverlake Animal Hospital, I rest easy knowing that if my patients need care when I am not open they are in excellent hands.

Took my pug in because he had stones in his bladder, while not all stones were retrieved, Dr. directed me in the right direction to save my baby! This clinic proved that their top priority is the health of the pets, not money or anything else. Can't find words to explain how thankful I am with this clinic, Bruno is doing great now.

Unprofessional personal of the clinic. Very stressful and unpleasant experience. It took for us more than 3 hours to find that the facility is not capable of doing a Lyme disease test, which our pet required. Explaining right away that the dog is experiencing symptoms of Lyme, and she was diagnosed with it less than 3 months ago, did not help. No one cared to find out that this test is not preformed at this clinic. No one cared to tell us which place should we go to the test instead. The dog was stressed out, waited for nearly two hours for nothing.

My recent experience with Pearland 288 animal emergency clinic. I have used their services in the past with no issues. However, my recent visit 3-13-2021, I brought in my 1 week old puppies because they were in distress i.e trouble breathing, aspirating. They were at the hospital for 8 hours and nothing was done for them for the first 4.5 hours then the doctor called, to find out why my puppies were there for in first place, this tells me my puppies were suffering for 4.5 hours they then said they were monitoring their vitals, no additional intervention were done at this time, and then the doctor called and said she recommended to do X-Rays before discussing treatment, then 2.5 hours later I didn’t have any information and I called them again, to find out the prognosis for my puppies. On top of that the medical staff were very rude to me, no empathy by the staff for my hard situation. All I want to know is how my puppies are doing, but the communication is not there! After 8 hours of me constantly calling for updates they then told me that they gave them IV with sub cutaneous fluids, and Ampicillin injections.

My dog saved my left about 8 years ago. I am very very proud of the staff at this animal hospital. One week ago today, i rushed my 10 year old labradoodle here in the middle of the night. Long story short he had GDV and this staff here saved his life with a successful surgery. If I could give 100 stars I would, they saved my dogs life.

Brought 3 rescue kittens in for overnight stay. While they did provide a discount on treatment from $958 to $700, they were dismissive and rude over the phone about a week later by refusing to answer my question regarding a medication the kittens were prescribed. I don’t appreciate being cut off and talked over, discount or not.

The people here took care of our Boxer when she passed away. I wasn’t sure how to handle the situation, but they were very helpful and compassionate during a difficult situation. This happened in the middle of the night and they were great. We appreciate the service and sympathy.
