This is my second time here. I brought my 7 week old Bishon for puppy shots. My first time here everything was pleasant (last week). I’ve returned because there is something wrong with my puppy’s. I arrived 7 minutes before 12noon (they close at noon) and the front desk didn’t want to take me. She said they were close. I explained to her my puppy was sick and really needed to get him checked out. She looked very frustrated because she had a full lobby…. But I arrived before the closing time…. Anyways just try to arrive earlier or else you won’t get a nice welcome. Besides the front desk lady, the vet, Mr T.T Elrod is profesional, very friendly and always in good spirit.

Vet visits used to be an expensive headache. Dr Elrod made that worry disappear. He gets to everyone in a timely manner and has taken care of all my pets for the past couple years since we've found him. He's great! Do not hesitate to go to him!!

Best place to take your fur babies! In and out in less than 15 minutes. It took me longer to get my stubborn pup in there than the shots they gave him.

Even with reduced hours and a maximum occupancy of 8 for the lobby currently, Elrod and his staff are professional, efficient, and genuinely the only team I trust with the health and wellbeing of my cat, in the midst of a pandemic.

Here's another affordable place I recommend.$25. for a shot cause he has arthritis. It's helps. T. Y.

This is a small vet clinic with decent sized waiting lobby and outside bench. They had waste bags for their patients which was very appreciated as I had forgotten my own. They are walk-in only and get pretty busy, and they close at 12. There is a small parking lot, we park across the street. It is accessible though, there are no stairs and they have handicap parking. The atmosphere is always amazing when I go. Seems to encourage pleasant small talk among the guest, which are alot of previous long time patients whom prove to be very helpful as well to new guest. Staff is small and also amazing. Cheery! Mr. Elrod is an amazing doctor and I'm happy to have found this small little gem. Really good for shots and regular vet checks in my opinion.

Had a great experience with Dr. Elrod after my dog became sick. Needed to find me a west Texas vet and now I have one.

Took my sickly cat (Sky) to the emergency clinic on Grandview but were asking for too much money. All she needed was some antibiotics and steroids. Brought her to Elrod Animal Hospital and they fixed her right up! Fast,friendly and caring. Highly recommend this place!

What a wonderful guy. Most helpful vet I know. Charges a price that's reasonable and makes it easier to bring your pets back. Truth is I've taken my pets there since I was a kid. I'm 54 now . To me he would be considered the best all time vet ever in Odessa tx. I COULD BE A LIL PARTIAL!!????
