Dr.Wade and his staff show a genuine concern and love for animals. Joann is the Best! She saw me struggling with 2 very energetic dogs and a child and got someone to help me get them to the car.

The young girl that was doing the check ins is very RUDE and SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I dropped off my puppy for his surgery early friday morning & I was told to pick him up the next day (Saturday) so when I get there the clinic is closed. I called and the call center answered just to say the clinic is closed.

Excellent care for my animals at a reasonable price.

I took my animals to a different clinic for about 30 years and loved it until the vet retired and new vets (revolving door it seemed) started seeing my two now elderly guys; one a 70 lb,, 11-1/2 year old dog and a 16-1/2 year old cat. I did not like the way they seemed to be experimenting on them. I started research to find another place to take them before either of them needed care, I chose 8th Street clinic and Dr. Wade. Best decision ever! He treats them with the level of care and compassion that animals at their stage of life need and deserve. I am truly grateful. The clinic is always busy and there can be a wait, but that can be expected. The staff keeps things moving as fast and politely as possible, and even the other clientele are friendly. As I said, I am truly grateful - I love my two old guys.

Went here yesterday, not only was it a Saturday, however the Vet that took care of my 3 monsters was amazing, the tech which was assisting the vet made all 3 of my pups feel comfortable. I will keep going here! The vet was thorough on my females ear that she was having a problem with and took the time to explain to me how to home treat her ear. Thank you again 8th street animal hospital!

Love love love the staff especially,Joann, but when I have an appointment at 9:30 and do not get seen until 12 it’s a little frustrating.

Needed immediate care for my cat. He's already a patient there so I figured it be best to take him here. Called in the morning. Walk ins are only at certain times of the day and an extensive wait time. This was understandable but I wanted his doctor to see him. Explained my situation to them and signed in and gave my number as the first signed in walk in. They said they'd call me. 2 hours from closing we asked for an update on when he'd be seen. My name wasn't scratched off yet but they informed we had 2 people in front of us. I originally signed 4 hours from closing. Never received a call and at 30 minutes from closing I became very concerned. Went inside and they explained that they called several times and now he could not be seen. I did not receive any calls. They even recited my number correctly. I don't believe they called me, but did inform me I should've gone to emergency care instead. Thanks for telling me that 4 hours after signing in, and 8 after my first call.

My girls don’t put up a fuss when we go to the vets for boarding and the staff knows them and my girls love them. I’m confident that they are being taken care of til I come back for them. I’d recommend them for any pet services.

The staff and doctor are amazing and very knowledgeable, my dogs even get excited when it is time for their appointments. The boarding services are excellent as well. Definitely recommend them.

I like how friendly they are. But it’s quite difficult to get an appointment with them. But the vet is super sweet and takes good care of my Jazz. They surely are great with pets it shows their love and dedication for them.

The staff are professional, caring, knowledgeable. My dog, Queenie, was snake bit times 3. They not only focused on my puppy, but me too. I was a nervous wreck, Dr. Wade answered all my questions calmly and did not hesitate to repeat his instructions. My dog is much improved and my stress about her is gone. I thank the Lord for Dr Wade, Joanne, Jessica and the numerous staff I haven't met or have forgotten their names. I cannot convey the appreciation I have for this group of dedicated professionals. At first I was very mad at the Doctor because I took my baby Cheeto there and he passed away the next morning in my lap and arms, but after the Doctor explained what happened to him it made a lot of sense, not of what happened to him, so for that I will give them a 5star, and also take the rest of my 3 beloved pets. Thank you Doctor Wade for being understanding with me, with love Daniel

I usually bring my pets here. Just the waiting is the worse part. They overbooked themselves trying to get all the pets in the area at the same time when they only got one vet and always short staffed. There’s been 3 times that they’ve made me wait over an hr for a simple shot and my app is early af too. Other than that very friendly and professional.

I spent from 8:00 am until noon waiting for my dog to be seen, I was third one there for the morning walk-ins, finally called another Vet, they took me right in, had surgery and everything went great ! I was never contacted by 8th street Animal Hospital !!

Had an appointment at 4:30 and I'm still sitting here at 6:23. No where to stand. Thanks for honoring an appointment that YOU set up.

I started taking my little rescue kitty there and the doctor s and their staff are very responsive and professional in attending to the needs of my little fur baby.

Best place for my babies to go.you have to trust the place you are putting your babies life in their hands. At.

We get in and get taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. All are very professional.

They've always done a great job with any of the animals I've ever brought to them. However they are always busy but very courteous hey. Great place to take your animal but be patient.

I have used 8th Street Animal Hospital since the mid eighties and will never leave. Dr. Wade and his staff are the absolute best.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes you have to wait past your appointment time but they don't rush your time in the room. Always have taken excellent care of my babies.

Some things are more expensive but the fresh meat is better here than most places in town

Over priced & rude....my dog had a very serious ear infection.....& they flat out refused to see her due to a new policy that says no walk ins....even that did not matter...how serious it was. Btw does anyone have a location or where abouts of Dr. Nicky Williams ??

The Dr. and staff were very friendly a courteous. The Dr. was very forthcoming with the information about our dogs health issues. The fees were reasonable.

Dr. Wade is very professional and treats his patients with alot of care and his staff is very friendly and warm . Been going for many years, and trust his staff and they have treated my dogs as they were their own. Joann is the best , I highly recommend 8th Street Animal Clinic !
