Comal Pet Hospital New Braunfels, Texas

This vet clinic is the BEST in our town. The receptionist Monica is very helpful and friendly. She makes going to the vet a lot better since she’s the first face you see! Then there’s Taylor Davis, the doctor’s nurse who is an animal whisperer. She is so good to our pets; even our most nervous dog is calm when Taylor is handling him. Last but not least, Dr. Lang provides the best care, unparalleled by any other vet around, because she is highly knowledgeable and caring towards present & future care. Dr. Lang works with clients so that care plans not only match the needs of your pet, they also match what you can afford. Thank you to this whole team for being super good to our animals. You didn’t just make our pets well, you made them Better!

My only complaints are that this facility is the most expensive I've delt with, and when I took my dog in for a tumor he had, I was told it wasn't cancerous, so for $800 the tumor was removed. When the tumor came back a different Dr. had a gut feeling, told me to see a specialist, and come to find out my fur baby in fact had cancer, $4000 for procedure.

I have been coming here now for 2 years. The vet and vet techs are very friendly and care about my pets. It is very clean and open. Great place for our fur babies.

Very thankful to everyone at Comal Pet Hospital. They took very good care of my cat Chloe while she was very sick. She was dying on me, and now she is back to her normal self! She had to have surgery. The attention and care they gave Chloe was the best. Even after her coming home, they call to check up on her. Make sure she is doing good.

The veterinarians and assistants are very knowledgeable, gentle, and patient with pets. The clinic is very clean and comfortable and the pet resort is the best and most reasonably place in New Braunfels to board a pet.

We take our Cadi girl here whenever we go out of town and can’t bring her with us! She’s about 120 pounds and absolutely adores everyone that works here! They are so sweet and loving to her and we always get great pictures from her stay! I always recommend Comal Pet Hospital & their resort because of the staff and how they treat our girl. Also it’s super convenient because they can share records easily between their two systems.

The staff was wonderful, kind and super quick to get my kitty in. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do to help him. But they were extremely sensitive and kind through the process of letting him go. They definitely made it a little easier.

We just recently took our dog George to this pet hospital, and I would just like to say to the staff and the doctor who had been with him THANK YOU. We used to go to a different vet and it was a horrible experience. We had tried to stick with that doctor because we heard he worked with rotties, but to be perfectly honest I do believe that George had, as time went by with that clinic, trauma. He used to be fine going to the vet. He didn’t care before, but then one day he started to hate going there. And recently we had tried to take him there again due to these strange scab like spots we had found spreading from the back of his neck to his cheek. That ‘doctor’ told us that it was nothing, to simply put Neosporin on it and he’ll be fine. He didn’t take into consideration our concerns or the fact we informed him that it HAD spread, that it had just been a tiny bump on one spot before. Taking George here however was like night and day. The moment the doctor had looked at him she immediately knew he had an infection, and then when shaving him down found it wasn’t just at his head and neck and cheek, but that it had spread further down his back. Seeing it myself made me go blank, and listening to his cries as he tried to cling to my legs left me furious, because there HAD been something but the other vet said there was /nothing/. He’s right now on antibiotics after they had cleaned out the wounds. We’ll be visiting them again for a follow up to assure that he’s healing well with the prescriptions given. Again, thank you for taking care of George. He’s my baby and I love him dearly, to know he was given the best care is everything. We will most definitely be coming back here from now on .

I took my boxer here for the first time to take over her care for a hematoma in her ear, and I can't say enough good things! They genuinely care about her care as much as I do. They explained everything very well and I couldn't be happier I'm so grateful to have found them.

They were Very Professional & nice, I actually got 2 talk 2 the vet in person. Excellent care. After 6 yrs @ other vet office, I'm changing vets. Highly recommend if U R unhappy w/ your vet, come here. They R Professionals & your pet get the Best care.

Had my little Cooper neutered and they took really good car of him. I've been taking my fur babies there since 2006 and I love that place.

I have been taking my furry friends to Comal Pet Hospital for more than 7 years now, and continue to stand by my choice. They are compassionate, caring and very thorough. Expensive. People are friendly but for the prices they charge for everything I don't think it's worth it.

Love Comal Pet Hospital! The staff is very caring and efficient. The doctors have always been spot on with diagnosing my elderly pets which gives me absolute confidence in the care given to them. When my beloved dog was diagnosed with a rare disease that had a poor outcome Dr. Gibson was there every step of the way of treatment and in the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep. She was very caring and consoling throughout our grieving process. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lang was absolutely amazing. She took the time to come introduce herself after my golden retriever had her spay surgery, which I had a lot of anxiety over. She then took the time to go over a treatment plan for my goldens skin condition and explained thoroughly how we can make her allergies more manageable. I appreciate the staff there so much, as every single person from scheduling, vet tech, to vet was super professional, personable and friendly. I will definitely be recommending to all my furr parent friends to bring their pets here. I sincerely appreciate the phone calls to check on my baby after a visit too. Great touch to make it a truly personal, trusted visit. Thank you, Dr. Lang and staff.

Seems like prices are going up. It's becoming hard to afford but still better priced then most and they have great vets.

We were attended by Dr.Robin Lang. Tho the results were far from what we would have wanted, she and her staff gave wonderful care. Compassion and love was shown us and our beloved Roxie

Is the best vet in New Braunfels the most caring people I have ever seen in the veterinarian hospital. I am very grateful for them.

I drop my sister in laws dog here for her a lot. The staff is friendly and helpful and the dog always comes home happy and exhausted. Not an easy feat with a young sporting breed dog.

In the midst of a SNOW disaster my little Chi-Weenie's face swelled up and I called on a Thursday and was able to get him in on Friday. Abscessed tooth! I took him on that Friday and was able to leave him there for the extraction and pick him up in the evening. I had budgeted a certain dollar amount not knowing what I was facing and the bill was much less than anticipated. I was able to get my other Dachshund in on Saturday and get her vaccinations / heartworm shot out of the way. They have gained 2 new customers! GG Kabeegee and Kaiser Wilhelm! Have recommended to nearby family members about these services and treatment. He is resting comfortably today.

We cannot say enough good things about Comal pet hospital. Everyone on staff is so wonderful. We used both the vet and the boarding facility and absolutely loved them both. It made me feel good when the staff was happy to see my animals and I knew they were so well taken care of every time we brought them in. I've never seen my dog so excited to pull up to the vet's office! We absolutely adore them and if we would still be going there if we hadn't moved out of state.
