We called on a Saturday and was able to get Sassy in for daycare for the next day! She loved her experience swimming and playing with the other pups!

Our dog seems to enjoy her stay. Prices are reasonable in my opinion. Owner lives on property. I check their FB occasionally when our dog is there and see photos of her often which is good to see her having fun.

Do not trust them with you Covid born Fur baby.. I place my German Shepherd Puppy in their care for 5days. I informed them that she would have high anxiety because she is a covid born puppy and has not had a lot of socializing. They informed me they could handler her as well as give her a bath and deshedding, before she came home. I call them every other day to check on her. Every call I was informed she was fine still anxious, but she is warming up to them. The day I was to pick her up I called to see when she would be ready, they told me that they were not able to give her a bath or deshedding because her anxiety was so bad. I called back to speak to a manager and she stated that they should have called me to pick her up earlier because her anxiety was so bad ( which means they lied to me everytime I called) she stated that she was worried about staff being bitten ( you would think they would have a muzzles for these type of situations) I stated that we are still in a pandemic and she has been around other animals so I am think of the safety of her and my 2 children under the age of 3. I stated that if I knew you all could not handle her I would not have left her in your care. The Manager stated she has never had someone complain about a bath when it came to their pet's anxiety( as though to shame me out of stating my displeasure with their service and a show of her unprofessionalism). I told her I would be picking her up immediately. When I arrived the manager stated that they wiped her down with wipes and that she didn't want her staff to get bitten. I stated that my problem was with the statement she made. I informed her that if you are running a business and promise to provide and service and you DID NOT PROVIDE SAID SERVICE you should expect to hear you customers displeasure especially when it is pertaining to sanitary measures during a pandemic. She said no, but I guess I understand. Then they brought my dog out without her collar being secured property so she immediately got out of it not to mention she had shredded hair sitting on top of her coat she was in A MESSY STATE EXTREMELY WORSER THEN WHEN I LEFT HER THERE . I WAS SO DISPLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONLISM. My fur baby will never return to this place. If your PET has anxiety DO NOT SENT THEM TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY CAN NOT HANDLE IT.

Our preferred place to take our two dogs when we're out of town. The staff is wonderful and really takes excellent care of our pets!

Day care; my 5mth old rushes to get into the door and loves all the personal there. Dog obedience; Brent is the best; problem with a dog, he always has fixed it. Usually me doing something wrong. LOL

I went here today around 1pm asking to tour the facility, because we where new to the area. A very rude female employee stated we only do tours by appointment and never on Saturday. She asked if there was another time I could do it and I stated no, I work Monday-Friday. She said and since you brought your pet I can’t even allow you to tour the facility. Well, excuse me but if I plan to leave my fur baby with you, you can expect me to bring my pet to see how the staff interacts and how his temperament is being in a new place. Just for this reason I do not like to make appointments for someone to “show” me their facility because I feel it is fake. You can clean, show me only the good parts and have someone that’s customer friendly. I will not be going back which is a shame because it would have been a closer facility to our new home but I will continue to use my former facility in Tomball even though it’s an hour away to board, groom and use daycare on occasion.

All my dogs stay here and love it since it opened. The pool is great and the grooming staff are very attentive to special requests. If I ever need dog training I will use them for that also.

My dogs are always happy when I pick them up. They're also passed out 5 mins down the road so I know they're getting a lot of play time and interaction. The staff is great and we've never had an issue booking doggie daycare last minute. Highly recommended!!!!

They could improve their security. They took my dog's collar off (with her tag and information) and put her on a place where she was able to escape. They called us as soon as it happened, we'll give them that, so we were able to join the search. The place is located infront of a dangerous road, so we feared the worst. The staff was kind and apologetic, and they helped search for her for an hour, then they were advised to stop the search. We finally found our dog five hours later by our own means. She was hurt but alive, and that's what's important. This review would have a way different tone if we hadn't found her. If your dog can dig a hole maybe this is not the daycare for him, otherwise it looks like a fun place because they have a pool, that's what brought us there, but our dog never got to play in the pool.

I am in LOVE with this pet resort!! I called with tons of questions, and Virginia was so kind and patient with me! When we showed up, our pup went crazy!! The outside area, pool is BEAUTIFUL!! The dogs playing at 9 in the morning were having a blast!! You can tell how much everyone here loves animals.. HIGHLY recommend!! Will add photos later.

First time to use this business. We live in Woodforest, so the location is great. The prices were reasonable, the location seemed well maintained, and our lab seemed happy after his stay.

This place is so awesome. Needed to have my dog boarded last minute. The place looks like a doggy paradise and the staff is so nice!! They explained how the whole visit will be. I even called the next day to see how my pup was doing and they had already walked him and said he was so happy!! I picked him up and he was exhausted!! My dog and I 10/10 recommend!

The one and only place we take our two fur babies! They love The Barkly and they take such great care of them. Even after we moved over an hour away we still only choose them to care for our two pups when we go on vacation.

they've taken care of my 3 dogs amazingly. the staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. plus they have a pool for the dogs. an actual walk in style pool.

Took my dog Cooper to the Retreat for two different occasions both times he came home with issues. First time, we had him vaccinated there on site for his Parvo and Bordatella vaccines since they were due and we had a funeral to get to and had no other options. Pick him up the following day and he had a case of kennel cough. Granted he got vaccinated that day and it takes a moment for vaccines to take effect but its worth noting. Second time, most recently he was boarded it was for two days and also had a bath. Upon picking him up I see a cut on the inside of one of his toes, one of his nails has dried blood from the quick being cut too close. After we get home we realize Cooper is having trouble sitting and wont lay flat on his stomach like we've taught him. He also won't lift his tail and makes no effort to wag his tail despite being excited. Did some research online and realize he has "Dead Tail" which comes from a sprain or injury in the tail from who knows what. This is not the only Dog Day Care that Cooper has been to but this is the only one we've ever had issues with and I am BEYOND disappointed and irate. None of the issues were either noticed by the staff or weren't communicated to me on pick up.
