Cleaned up my best friend very well.

I worked for this grooming company years ago and only lasted a few days because the owner was very abusive to the dogs. I physically watched her slap 2 beautiful German shepherds because they were barking (not being aggressive at all) and she slapped them extremely hard, multiple times.

We moved and I wanted to try out a new groomer that was closer to our house. I called All About Dogs and set up an appointment for my elderly poodle. About my dog: he is a 10lb poodle who is blind, has scoliosis, a bad knee, and is about 11 years old and we adopted him when he was about 7 from Poodle Rescue of Houston. So all that to say he needs special love. Now Sonny is very cuddly everyone’s best friend. So sweet but he is blind so you gotta watch him. They were excellent with him. They gave him a nice winter haircut and listened to what kind of cut I wanted. (Nothing fancy he is a pet so we don’t do the fancy poodle cuts). They brushed him out, he smelled better and I think they even brushed his teeth because his breath even smelled better. He seemed very calm and happy when we picked him up. All About Dogs has you pick up and drop off so you can stay in your car the whole time and just text a number when you arrive. They are moving to a more visible store front in an adjacent shopping center, which in my opinion will make them easier to find than there current location. Great place. Reasonable prices. My poodle is $50 which is comparable to every other place we have taken Sonny to get groomed. We are new and happy customer s and I highly recommend them for dog grooming.

Current update I'm very happy with them at this time the lady that caused all the problems is no longer there I've been going here since 2011

We have been taking our 3 Labs there for a couple years now. Laurie, Ronda, Nikki, Dumel and the team have just been amazing. When a groom is needed this is for sure the place to take your fur babies!

Brought my German Shepard here for the first time ever using a groomer and they were phenomenal!! Would highly recommend!

Took both our dogs this morning. Great customer service and, most importantly, our dogs look and smell great. Very reasonably priced.

My dog smelled amazing this was the best bath she has had. The place beats Petco.

Our dog came home happy after a much needed haircut. He looked and smelled great. Will be taking him here from now on.

The groomers did an outstanding job with my 2 dogs. They listened to what I wanted and the people are top notch!

Not what I expected at all! Our Pyr came out totally shaved, almost skinned! She was cut on her nipple and tufts of hair left hanging on her belly. I asked for a "summer cut" and a master groomer knows that you never shave a pyrenees! My mistake that they were professional groomers. Will not go back...but, then she won't need a haircut for a very long time!

Absolutely love this place! Welcoming wonderful staff. Recommend place to anyone. They care about the dogs and customers like family .

They did a great job grooming our dog!

Well I tried Cripple Creek and can not speak poorly enough about them. I highly recommend not using them! I dropped him off with exactly enough food for how long he would be there and there was still TWO servings of his food in the container I left him with when we picked him up. She did NOT feed him TWICE! That makes me extremely concerned if they gave him water especially considering how much water and food he ate as soon as we brought him home! Her response was that she free feeds the dogs. My dog has NEVER not eaten! Don’t EVER leave your dog here!

Love this place! Super friendly staff. When we bring in our dog they are like “Smokey!!” He loves going to All about dogs!

We've been taking our dogs here for over a year and really like it! They do a great job every time on our pups, though some of the services do not apply to the medium to large sized dogs unfortunately. Reaching them over the phone can also be very difficult at times, even with leaving voicemails. But their availability of squeezing you in is great and the dogs come home happy and refreshed.

Good place and the dog always comes out soft and clipped. If you're not a fan of the scents then it's not a problem. They wait until you arrive to pick up before adding a scent.

These guys are amazing! They are so sensitive and respectful of my dog's fears...so glad I found these guys!

I love this place and so does my dog Oreo anytime it’s ready to go to the groomers he just walks right in like he owns the place they are very friendly and nice and definitely ate animal lovers. I think the prices rocm and not only do they wash and trim Oreo but they also cut his nails and make him look handsome and smell good.

It was my first time using this place this morning! I have to say they did an amazing job! The staff is so nice and very polite! My dogs were very well taken care of! Also the pictures above are the facility! You have to drive around the building to the side. Thank you again all about dogs for our lovely experience! We will definitely be back!

This place sucks don't take your dog here

I took my four dogs in for grooming. What a disaster. The hair was not even. Toe nails were not cut. My tiny dog was burned on his neck from the clippers. He has been in pain for a week now. Constantly scratching and crying. I will never go back . there. Midlothian needs a good groomer.

Heart of Texas Animal Rescue takes all of our dogs there for grooming and nails. We wouldn't go anywhere else. They do an amazing job!! (I also take my personal dogs there. They love to go in there, which says a lot about the way they are treated while they are there.)

For some reason you can't talk to the actual groomer to tell her what you want done, therefore it gets translated to her incorrectly. I just wanted my dogs hair cut, I know it's not a typical cut but not difficult. Just want body, legs and face all cut short. I took him about 3 weeks ago, he got his face lightly cleaned up along with private parts and then blow dried. No way his body was cut. I took him back today, he usually goes 6-8 weeks between grooms but had to take back just 3 weeks later since never cut. He was getting very matted. The guy there suggested poodle cut on legs, I didn't realize what he meant but since I just explained what I was looking for figured he knew. I went to pick him up and he looked ridiculous but it was poodle feet, once I saw I knew. Fluffy legs and shaved feet. I told them that wasn't gonna work so they went to get the groomer. She came out with major attitude. She said I asked for poodle feet, I said no, I wanted his legs cut short. This is where the miscommunication comes in. I wasn't blaming the groomer, she wasn't given correct info but she became very defensive and bitchy. She took him back and did what I asked. He looked much better after. All this could be prevented if they'd have the groomer talk to customers that want cuts!! I won't be taking my dog back there. I will say the front desk lady and the guy there are very nice and friendly but that doesn't help my dogs groom.

I always take my dogs to All About Dogs because I know they will get good care while they are there. My dogs are never nervous or reluctant to stay. When I pick them up, they are happy, clean and well groomed! My Brittany will not let me trim his feet or nails, but he has no problems with the staff at All About Dogs doing it! I love this place!

No one answers the phone and no one returns phone calls. Smh

First, the pictures are definitely not the location on main street. I left my two dogs there for 3 nights. They were supposed to be groomed, but were not. They only fed my dogs 1/4 of a cup once a day for the two of them. They were supposed to feed them 1/2 of a cup twice a day for each of them. We watched her write it down. Worst experience ever. I will never go back.
