Burleson Equine has been taking care of our horses for years. We're always brought in to the exam room quickly and they do a great job diagnosing any problems and their rates are very reasonable. For my most recent visit we suspected cellulitis and I called late in the afternoon. I got in next day and left with everything we needed.

The Vets here are just simply amazing. They were very responsive to my urgent call for help and did everything they could, and even though the end result was hard for me they treated me and my horse very thoroughly, kindly and with empathy. They truly care for animals and the owners. I would recommend them highly. Thank you so much for all you did for my horse and I in a difficult time.

i brought one of my horses in for a vet check and price doubled. Had to argue with them to correct it. Then they threatened my horse trainer they would call the cops. I will never take an animal to those people. If You can't treat a human right how do you think they will treat your animal???? Be careful And I'm also a bio chem grad from a&m. To justify my review.....

The vets went above and beyond to take care of my horse, even though I was a new, first time client. They came to my farm to help me and my horse and were wonderful with all of their knowledge and help. When I get a horse again, I will definitely use this hospital in the future.

We had our gelding adjusted by Dr. Armentrout and it was a great experience. She took her time and explained the whole process in detail leaving room for any questions we may have. She gave us detailed instructions for home care to assure we would get the most out of the chiropractic work she had done. We have seen Dr. Armentrout and Dr. Jordan and has nothing but positive experiences from both. Highly recommended!

Very caring staff and when I had questions they DID NOT treat me like I was stupid for asking questions. I felt like my baby was in very good hands.

Very caring when i called to euthanize my beloved mare Angel. They came on time and were very gentle with her and me.

Clinic has vet not listed on their web site Dr W., don't use her. She will refuse to help your horse with pain management is she feels horse should be put down. Speaks very little on what she's doing to your horse and has one track procedure mentally with on other options explored. Bad mojo.

Burleson Equine Hospital took INCREDIBLE care of my girl! I was referred to Burleson Equine Hospital by my local vet when my mare was dehydrated, was showing signs of colic, and needed round the clock care in order to recover. They were very thorough in giving me info on what they wanted to do to treat her, keep her comfortable and aide in her recovery, while also respecting my budget. I was aware of every part of her care and they took time to explain all of it. They even pampered her a bit with a bath while she was there. I received calls from Dr. Wrighy herself, updating me both morning and evening. I was also able to visit my mare each day she was there and every staff member I interacted with was so friendly, both towards me and my mare. It was very clear that they all cared deeply about their patients. The bill was VERY reasonable and followed the estimations they had communicated during her treatment. I was given helpful written instructions when I brought her home and have been able to reach out to their office with follow up questions. I'm very thankful for this veterinarian team and their care of my mare and highly recommend them!

We had to lay one of our horses to rest and the Vet and staff were beyond sweet to us and our horse. They made the process as smooth as it could be.

Great vet! Dr. Armentrout and the techs who accompany her are the best. Very knowledgeable, compassionate and insightful about our horses' health and well being. We appreciate their farm visits and recommendations. A word of caution: Record keeping in the front office is questionable. Please ensure you keep track of and maintain a detailed log of your horse's immunizations and test schedules and use them to schedule the care done during normal visits. This ensures your animals get the shots they need (types and times) to avoid any extra visits or farm calls ($$$). We strongly recommend Dr. Armentrout and the techs and will continue to use BEH. We feel the quality of Dr. Armentrout is worth the extra work to keep our own records.

The staff Is very helpful, Dr. A was very patient and kind to me and my horse. She explained everything to where I could understand all of our options. Loved it and will go back

I brought my 3 year old mare in due to signs of colic and they were wonderful with her. They jumped on her care right away and immediately came up with a plan for her. Within 6 hours the blockage had passed, and they kept her overnight for observation. I was afraid to get the bill, but when I did it was WAY more affordable than any vet I had been to previously. I am now a client for life!

Dr. Jordan is amazing. She is a horsewoman herself and truly understands the bond between a horse and owner. We travel more than three hours to have our horses cared for by Dr. Jordan. My husband and I compete in AQHA and NRCHA events on a national level and Dr. Jordan has been instrumental in our efforts to keep our now 19, 16, and 15 year old show horses in top condition. We have also used her services to foal out our broodmare well as to perform pre-purchase exams. Her integrity and compassion is above reproach and her honest, straightforward explanations of what is best for the horse, and the financial implications of the various options, is appreciated more than words can express. Thank you, Dr. Jordan and your outstanding staff, for everything you do.

Had a horrible experience. Vets and Techs do NOT know what they are doing. Actually injured our pony while she was there because they didn't know how to handle her situation. Hoping the other horse on the review actually needed to be put down and that they KNEW what the reason was and not just a pat answer for a diagnosis that they didn't know. Took our horse home against "their" better recommendation and nursed her back to health from our 35 plus yrs of experience. Won't even use them for general maintenance. They are riding on Dr. Putnam's good name. BE AWARE!
