Friendly staff. Got me in and out with a minimum of fuss from a dog terrified on going there.

Couple of so-so experiences and a couple of BAD ones: The younger of the vets has a terrible bed-side manner. I took two of my dogs in for rattlesnake bites, obviously I'm concerned. She made me very uncomfortable with a lot "Well this could happen... well we could do this...". It was a Friday so they couldn't give them IV fluids because they were about to be closed and couldn't be bothered... They could keep them overnight but no one would be there to check on them... then she went on a tirade about not giving them steroids. She gave them antibiotics and pain meds and sent us home where they cried and whined til I took them to the emergency vet in Odessa. There, an experienced, 30-year vet, told me she'd seen thousands of rattlesnake bites and that these were warning bites with little venom. She administered steroids and my dogs immediately recovered... My dogs have also been in for teeth cleaning and shots, those went well but a monkey could do that stuff. The issue with these is that they are very pushy about unnecessary tests. Dogs just needing their shots should get a heartworm test, their shots, and a physical exam (checking lymph nodes, teeth, etc...). They don't need a full blood-work panel, especially if they aren't even more than a few years old. I politely declined. This is how they make their money, but it's scumbag behavior to take advantage of people's love for their pets by playing into unrealistic fears... Plain and simple. This last experience happened today, another Friday. I had a terrible night yesterday as one of my dogs killed a family cat. It was unfortunately the third cat he'd killed in two months (second of ours) and he has a history of vicious violence with other male dogs, so I had to put him down. I was obviously very upset about it but he just can't be trusted around other animals or children and MASA would not take him. I wanted to peacefully euthanize him with my sister and I there for him, his two favorite people. I called the office at 9 am this morning, the receptionist Marisa told me she'd speak with the vet (not sure who was on duty) and return my call. At noon, I called back. Marisa said she'd spoken to the vet, and that she would return my call. By two, I had to start calling other clinics as this could not wait til next week. One told me to contact animal control which I did. They were very understanding and as hard as it was, we put him down. Now I would have preferred this had been done at mission clinic as it's more peaceful, i.e. no crying dogs, foul stench, and less fearful for my dog, but they never returned my call. I'm writing this review at midnight and neither the vet nor Marisa called to check on me or touch base. They simply do not care. That's fine if that's how they want to run their business, but I will not be using them for my other pets again. I suggest anyone needing anything besides shots and teeth cleaning to look elsewhere. Edit: I never did hear from them. I now take my business to Dr. Miller at Midland Animal Clinic and Hospital. Reasonable prices, prompt appointments, no long waits, great and very experienced service without pushy, unnecessary tests.

We took our Barrett in for his shots and checkup. They are the friendliest staff and are very concerned about your pet. I highly reccomend them.

We and our dogs had a great experience here. In and out in about an hour, the staff were very patient with our one that’s tentative around people and gave lots of love to our one that loves people. Affordable rates, friendly, quick, highly recommend!

I took both my dog and cat in to get yearly vaccines. I was told a total cost for all of their vaccinations. I paid the very expensive bill and left. Two weeks later I get a text saying my cat had a follow up appointment for round 2 of a vaccine. I called and inquired and found out I had to pay a full appointment fee again for this next shot. I told them I would have liked to know in advance that there was another round of shots so I could plan accordingly. I had the appointment and paid the fee. Then a few weeks later I get a notice in the mail that the cat needs a third shot and I would have to pay a third full appointment fee. At this point I wont be going back to them. They didnt fully disclose the total cost at the beginning like they said they did. They charge a lot for their services and dont fully disclose the actual cost of their services. When I called their office both times they just dismissed what I said.

They make every effort to get me an appointment same day or next day. They truly care with follow up phone calls.

We recently moved to Midland and had to put our 15-year-old dog, Rocky, down. Our daughter highly recommended this veterinarian’s office as she takes her dogs there. We were able to get an appointment in a timely manner. The visit was quick and, as much as we hate to say it mattered at a time like that, the prices were very reasonable. Most importantly, the staff were kind and compassionate. We received a sympathy card, hand-written by the veterinarian a couple days later. It was so appreciated after having to say goodbye to our little buddy who had graced our lives for so many years. We will definitely be taking our other dogs to have all their vet services done at Animal Clinic at Mission Square from now on.

I took my dachshund that was bloated and had a bad cough..the vet totally blew off the cough and gave him lasix for fluid in his belly. With no answers for the cause..few weeks later his cough now progressively worse second vet diagnosed him with Bronchitis with CHF... needless to say could have costs me my dog life. worse sworse

I absolutely love this vet clinic ... I use to bring dogs and cats here when I worked for MHC in Midland TX , and thats were I learned of such place . The staff here are so amazing , reliable and trustworthy , us as animal parents want only the best for our furry children . I’ve recently moved to Houston TX .. And I take the drive to come here when needed for Nixon .. I am extremely grateful with the doc and clinic Thank you ???? Hands down & 100% recommended _

Best bts in town. They treat there pretty and the fur family. They have helped me keep my great dane healthy for 9 years now.

The staff is always kind and courteous, (both in person and over the phone) the clinic is clean, appointment wait times are very reasonable, and I truly believe the staff really cares about our fur family members. They always take to the time to follow up after a visit or procedure, and are patient with us when we call with questions. Additionally, prices are way more reasonable than other places in Midland who do not have the same level of service. We will not go anywhere else as long as we can come here!

Dr. Doan should have her license revoked. The true owners of this place are wonderful, but after lack of initial care from Dr. Doan my 6 year old dog passed in December. Since then, I have investigated with other people who take their animals here they received the same horrible care from her I did. For routine shots and vaccines they’re great, but please save yourself the heartache if your dog is actually ill and take them to the Odessa Emergency clinic. I think my dog would have lived had I gone somewhere else first. Shoving her in a kennel for fluids did NOTHING.

So I absolutely love you guys. I moved to Dallas a year ago and me and cubs still go see y’all . I recently purchased my Daisi from West Texas and I called Monday and spoke to Mariza she set her appointment right then and there got her shots in a matter of mins. And I love the convenience of all it the girls in the office are just so freaking adorable, loving and so caring. I owe you guys so much we will see y’all in three weeks for her seconds set of shot yes five hours but it’s worth it . Y’all took amazing care of my Daisi thank you so much....

They were very professional, courteous, and competent. I took a rottweiler dog there once and did not have any problems with him as opposed to another place in town that was unable to handle him.

They are always great with our dog. Great service and they got him feeling better quick.

The vet was great with my Mom's cat. She is gentle, knowledgeable, and has an awesome attitude with the animals AND their owners. She understands that sometimes we have fur babies and treats them as such. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Couldn't get in soon enough. Went to Andrews. Love the staff anyway.

Getting a 1 star because I just found out One of the people that work there has had a sick kid with 103 temperature for days and the person is still coming to work Darren these times we have to take the appropriate measures to protect everyone this person with a kid 103 temperature should be at home Quarantine
