Wonderful staff! Nice new remodel place is awesome!

I highly recommend this veterinary office. I was new to Mckinney and my 11yr old calico wasn't doing well. They took me in immediately. Unfortunately it was my baby's time to cross the rainbow bridge. They were so kind and so accommodating to me during an extremely difficult time. The cremation services that they offer, they truly go above and beyond. The urn box is gorgeous, I was so surprised to find a plaster print of her sweet front feet and a condolence card signed by the entire staff.

Excellent service but a bit pricey. Can get my dog in same day usually if she’s sick. Everyone there truly cares a lot and are great at what they do!

The office manager, Beau, goes out of his way to help and has been so compassionate as I’ve dealt with the heartache of caring for my aging dog. I’d also like to mention Makayla in reception who is kind and helpful as well.

Great prices friendly the receptionist remember my furry friend from when he was a pup she noticed how big he’d got that made me feel good because at least someone is paying attention. I would recommend more People to come here clean environment great places to eat cvs next door get business done while dog get care.

Dr. Farmer was so informative, and compassionate. She is such a quality veterinarian. She educated me on medicine, and her findings. The vet nurses and administration were so quick and nice! It feels great to finally find a primary/clinic I trust with my dog. Thank you so much Perky Paws!

Edit to owner/manager: if you can ask friends to write reviews for you to counter act bad ones aka FAKE reviews, which is against Google policy as well and have been confirmed. I can let you know how I feel as a TRUE review. It is not only important for clients to understand how employees feel but important for future employees to know truth of the inside not by reading fake positive reviews that are only here because they were asked to write them. Also CURRENT employees are not supposed to leave reviews and a discount for reviews are not allowed as well. Future employees check indeed reviews. My review for the company: zero stars would be more accurate than 1. I can’t say anything I want to say because I keep being asked to remove it. Sad to say these aren’t false statements. There are previous employees reviews posted on Google. Mine was 5 star when I was asked by management to post one to get reviews up when I had only worked there maybe a month. So how a current employee review was accurate but this review isn’t, I’m unsure.

I've been going to Perky Paws for 5 years and the staff have fallen in love with my dogs along the way. I will never forget the visit in January when it became apparent my senior dog was approaching end of life. It was handled with empathy and delicacy. I had an ER that came up and needed to send pictures to help explain what was going on. Having befriended Beau along the years, I messaged him on Facebook and he quickly replied that he showed it to the doctors already. Sadly it was time for my dog to cross the rainbow bridge, and I was touched by seeing how the staff was hurting with me. After time passed, I mentioned to Beau I was interested in a kitten. He took the time to call me (without me even asking) to tell me he asked everyone he worked with about rescues and available kittens they were aware of. I was still a little tender over losing my dog and that small phone call made me remember there are still good people in the world.

Dr. Sager and the entire team and Perky Paws have been extremely helpful in managing my dogs multiple issues. I moved to Mckinney from Dallas about 6mo ago. When I moved here I originally went to another animal hospital and just didn't feel the connection/partnership in my pets care I was looking for. I started asking my neighbors and they recommended Perky Paws. So glad I found them and Dr. Sager. Thank you. Kari-ane, Dr. Sagers technician is so sweet and knowledgeable.

I am a relief veterinarian and live in Collin County. Perky Paws is pretty much the only practice I recommend and it is where I bring my own dogs for care. I have worked at pretty much every practice in Collin County. I recommend Perky Paws because of the quality of their medicine, their attention to detail, their caring AND the place is spotless! I see some comments on here about them being pricey. I honestly think they are very average for the area if you are comparing full service hospitals with state of the art equipment and DVMs who want to get to the root cause of your pets issues. Can you find low cost shelter service medicine and basic shot clinics in McKinney? Sure. But come here if your pets are sick and you need real solutions to complex medical problems.

Be fair warned—this review is coming from a true crazy dog lady and a former veterinary practice manager. So needless to say, I have some high standards when it comes to care for my pups…and it was all exceeded at Perky Paws! I recently relocated from Houston and had to leave the veterinary hospital I managed there. I have been in the veterinary field for 10 years, so being in a new city and also my first time having to trust a vet I didn’t know was a bit nerve wracking. The fact that it was also a curbside visit can add another level of uncertainty, but I can say the Perky Paws team handled things with the utmost care and empathy from the very first interaction. Every person on the team—from the receptionist to the tech to the doctor—has been incredibly thorough with explaining every aspect of the visit and what to expect next. My first visit happened curbside during a flash storm, and I still never felt rushed. I was incredibly impressed with the level of medicine that is practiced there. I feel that they go above and beyond for their patients, versus some other places that cut corners. I was given many opportunities to ask questions and really felt heard. Plus it was legitimately the first time my dogs were not traumatized by all the new people and places, and they even took the cutest photos (dog moms know!). HUGE shoutout to Shelby, MJ, Kari, Emma, Dr. Brassette and anyone else we have come in contact with there for making us feel welcomed! Such a great experience also speaks volumes about the leadership present in the practice with Beau and Dr. Farmer. I know getting through this pandemic has not been easy! We are excited to have a new vet and will sing their praises to anyone else looking for a team to love your babies like their own.

Hands down one of the best vets in McKinney! I have a dog and 4 (now 5 cats) and Dr. Farmer and Beau have always gone above and beyond for my pets. Last year my dog Ruby had to be hospitalized due to a food reaction. They were nothing but caring and supportive and resolved her issue and she’s been better ever since. If you are looking for a great vet that treats not only you but your pets like family, this is the place to be!

I've been bringing my two dogs to Perky Paws for several years now, and they are fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, they were able to diagnose and correct a stomach issue with my GoldenDoodle that several other vets had failed to do. This recent week, I actually had a less than ideal experience with them, and I cannot tell you how great the service recovery has been. Beau (a technician) reached out directly to make the situation right, and Dr. Farmer took the time to speak with me after the interaction on what I felt had gone sideways, and how we would correct that for the future. I also acknowledge that I am a difficult pet owner, and they took that in stride, and are very accommodating to take care of my dogs. Very impressed, will definitely continue to return here. Great job, 5/5 recommend Beau and Dr. Farmer.

Our family recently moved to McKinney with our pack of geriatric rescue pups. We have been proud parents to these fur-babies for the past 15 years. Shortly after moving, two of our girls (rescued from Hurricane Katrina back in 2005) had very severe health problems and it was time to say goodbye. We chose Perky Paws based on all of the wonderful reviews, and I need you to know, even the great reviews don't do them justice. The *compassion*, kindness, and deep care that Dr. Farmer took with our girls (and us) when it was time to say goodbye, will never be forgotten. We were gutted by this immense loss, and she was able to help us through it and show such love and empathy to all of us. The entire staff took the time to send us the loveliest card, and we felt such a sense of family and community at Perky Paws. We feel so grateful to have found them and please know you are in wonderful hands there!

Everyone is very friendly and they care about what they do making for a fantastic visit for my little girl. The doctor goes over everything in detail and they always follow up to see how things are going. Happy I chose them for my pet's care

Highly recommend Dr Farmer and her team! My 3 yorkies go for grooming with Lindsey (and she is so amazing!) and for all their medical needs Dr Farmer and Dr Brassette are outstanding! The entire team is attentive and friendly! ☀️
