My dog came out looking great, just not a very welcoming environment.

We have been using Oohlala for several years and four dogs absolute love out there!

Great location and great people. They did a wonderful job with our bloodhound. We will be back!

LOOK AT REVIEWS BY MOST RECENT!! I've been using the business for 4 years my dogs Rusty n Casper have had many visits. Since opening after covid things have gone down hill. The receptionist is not happy, until today I've just felt sorry for her. I called about a week ago and asked if I could just get the dog's nails done. The receptionist told me just bring them in, appointments are not made for nails. Today I did just that. I brought both dogs, by myself, since it would be a quick visit. I got there about 30 minutes after they opened and was told that they didn't have staff to do it. I asked if I could make an appointment to get their nails and she said no. I pressed and asked when should you bring dogs in to get the nails done, she said between 10 and 3. That should have been expressed when I made the original phone call. By the time I got home my rescue dog had pooped on the back seat and my other dog had stepped on it. It got into the seat belt and everything. Today I took down the good review I left that facility and now am posting this one. I will not be going back and warn others to not make my mistake I'm at the carwash $120 later, praying they can get it all before the summer heat hits dfw.

Well dog when in for a groom. Had badd matting had to shave it. still charge for the full groom . $55 to wash and save a dog that weigh 7 pounds.

Had my fiancé drop our dog off for a de-skunk grooming treatment a few days ago, when he brought her home her eyes were swollen and squinting. Within a few hours she eyes were completely shut and started to goop up. Had to take her to the emergency vet, since her normal vet was closed for the day... They said it was most likely that the groomers sprayed her directly in the face, without covering her eyes, with the de-skunk spray. She could, and will most likely be blind in at least one of her eyes...... We are on day 4 still trying to heal my dog from being particularly blinded by these careless groomers. I highly suggest y’all do your research and take your dogs elsewhere, I couldn’t imagine another dog going through this.

Do not go here!!! They will give you something completely different than what you’ve asked for. And will put a pink bandanna on your male dog. Worst place ever. Highly recommend anywhere but here!!

We take both out fur babies here. They're the best

I have taken my pups her for the last several years. The staff is always so happy to see my dogs and takes such good care of them. I recommend everyone here. It's a great place because you know they are treated so well.

Not highly recommend. They shaved too deep my dog skin. But they never apologized, the reception lady and owner are not nice and show arrogant attitude to customer. They charged way too much money even they did not good job. There are many more great grooming place in McKinney. I will never ever come back this place.

I've taken my dog here twice to have her nails trimmed and have had a great experience both times. Her nails have always looked great, and the staff (from the front desk to the groomer) have always been welcoming, friendly, and so sweet to my baby. She is pretty skittish around new people, but I'm at ease knowing that she is being taken care of. Definitely would recommend!

I have been going to this location since she opened and always been pleased. I moved away and tried other groomers and now drive over an hour to have my fur baby taken care of.

Our dog has been here many times for grooming or should I say fur styling? Haha We have been satisfied with the services provided. He’s a fluffy dog, without his longer fur he looks funky. Most places for whatever reason want to shave him off - regardless that he doesn’t have knots on his coat! Ooh La La Pet Spa hasn’t shaved him off, they actually listened to our super simple request. We recommend this place, make sure you explain well what you are looking for. Pictures of what you like from previous cut (if you have it) on your best fur friends can be helpful too. Currently, out dog only comes here for his style when needed. Nothing fancy here, but all that matters is good quality service to our pets. Please schedule ahead of time. We’re picky & recommend this establishment.

Best staff, work with pets with fears

Had a great experience. The groomer came out and talked to us before. We were very happy with the service and will definetly use them again.

They do an amazing job, even better than our old Vet did when he groomed our two shih tzus. My dogs legs and underbellies were matted and the groomers were able to remove the mats as well as gently, emphasize gently, shave the rest of their bodies. As an 18 year old I was hesitant to go with a dog groomer less than 5 stars because I have severe anxiety over what happens to my dogs, when I saw they had 4.4 stars I decided to give it a shot because the other reviews I read for high 4 star places had negative experiences and had to eventually take their animals to the vet due to the neglect or their pets weren't acting correctly. The moment I brought my dogs home they began acting like their normal selves and were beaming. For the condition my dogs were in they charged little to nothing (about $90), so far I've found no cuts or scratches on them, which was the main cause of my anxiety, and they've had no issues. I highly recommend this place, they are gentle to your animals as if they were their own and treat them with the best care they possibly can. I will be coming back on a regular schedule to keep my dogs groomed. The staff was amazing in handling them as well as calming them to finish the job right. The price is absolutely 100% worth it, they'll do the best they can for your animal and there they are in good hands.

LOVE this place. They are so sweet and affectionate to my dog. They do an amazing job. They took the time to as me several questions to make sure they were going to cut his hair the way I wanted. We have used them 3-4 times now and I've been happy every single time. And they dog seems to love them.

I have an older cat that has kidney issues and is very skinny. They do a great job of checking him when grooming and trimming his nails. They have even stopped grooming and continued another time to help keep stress at a minimum.

The one star is for the groomer who was nice. Their front desk help person needs to be replaced. She was very arrogant and rude. If you can't be nice at least act like one. Never going back here.

Let me tell you why I loved my experience: I love my dogs, but they are psychos. One of my dogs bit one of the groomers. Instead of freaking out on me, which would have been 100% legitimate, they were kind, gracious, and concerned about his fearfulness. They gave me suggestions for handling his grooming in the future - sedation by the way! That goes a long way with me. I will only take them here from now on. And their prices were the best I've found in Mckinney as a complete side note.
