They always take good care of me here. My dog had an rear infection and swelling. Was very nervous about having her ear punctured and surgery. But they did a great job as usual!

We used to bring our two dogs here a couple years ago, and were always very happy with the quality of the service and the amount of time and care given to us. However the costs were high at times, and we switched to a low-cost vet to save money. Well, we learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. When one of our 8yo dogs was showing symptoms that worried us, we brought them up at our annual visit with our new vet, but it was dismissed as normal behavior a lab can develop. We then made a separate appointment a couple weeks later to specifically discuss those worrying symptoms, and we were told it must be her old pancreatitis coming back, so just to give her low-fat food. There were ZERO tests performed. Something didn't sit right with us, and she didn't fit the symptoms of pancreatitis we had found online, so we made an appointment with Dr. Sue. Dr. Sue carefully listened to every issue and asked questions, did a full evaluation, and presented some options that she was concerned it may be, and recommended an x-ray and bloodwork. Later that day, she called us with the results that our sweet lab has cancer literally everywhere in her lungs. She was so kind during that difficult conversation, and followed up multiple times to answer questions, check on our pup, and even facetime us to show us some results on her computer. We are so grateful to have Dr. Sue through this process, knowing she truly cares about our dog and is providing advice we can trust. We will bringing our other dog and new puppy to her from now on. Thank you Dr. Sue!

I've been going here for 8 years. A friend from work who has an army of pets swore by them. Thank goodness I did. To say that they treat you and your pets like family is really an understatement. I had a cat with a rare kidney disease that was hard to diagnose. They reached out to specialists to help diagnose and get treatment options to extend my little guys healthy and fun life. I was sending pics and videos to them on call at all hours of the night and getting response on actions I should take. And when it was time to say goodbye to my awesome friend, they were right next to me providing the support I needed to get through that tragedy. I’m probably moving out of the Dallas area soon and my biggest fear is how do I find another group like Meadow Brook to be there for my new pet.

I have been taking my dogs to them for almost 2 decades. They really care about you and your pet.

I have been to Meadow Brook Animal Hospital now three or four times. Every time I’ve been there the staff isn’t super friendly they also don’t accommodate appointments as responsibly as they should in my opinion. I am a CVT CCRA Fear free Certified etc individual. And I’ve been working with animals my entire life, 6 of those years I worked at a specialty animal hospital among some of the best board certified specialists in the country. I have never in my life been so disrespected or had my knowledge questioned in the way that I did when I was at this establishment today. They sent out a nurse who Spoke down to me, made me feel like a bad pet parent when I am at the polar opposite of that, and proceeded to tell me that the medication I had ordered in May was no longer in the pharmacy and that they had given it to another client. And now it was on back order so they weren’t sure when they would be able to get that product in for me. (Btw this is a pain medication that my dog needs) I feel strongly that when there is a misunderstanding at the front desk with a client, especially not one but two, either the veterinarian or manager on staff should come out and speak to that client. I didn’t receive any of these options. Also just to put the cherry on top, they made me wait in my car until they had a “clean room” And when I got inside of said room, it was loaded with dog hair and filthy dirty. I wasn’t too surprised because the whole hospital is rundown, but how hard is it to wipe off a bench? Plus at an animal Hospital, or any medical establishment for that matter, it is not very sanitary. I called and asked that they email me all of my records, let’s see if I get a call from management about that! I will not be going back to this hospital, or any of its partners. I suggest you do the same. Also, just as Meadow Brook believes they can degrade my education, I know about two dozen Veterinarians who could dance around theirs; of which whom taught me how to care for my pets in the best way possible; the very way in fact to which you were questioning. Lastly, you lost a client who drops any amount of money on their pets without question because of your lack of education, organization and disrespectful employees. Update: I called management (like they asked) why they wouldn’t call me???? Idk. . Wasn’t really impressed with that conversation. My dogs insurance company has tried contacting them THREE, yes three, times now and they STILL haven’t send records or final invoice for my most recent claim. Also, I’ve been waiting for my pets records for over a week now to be emailed to me. Avoid the headache of this hospital and find a different vet if you’re looking.

Absolutely used to love this place. Capable practice with personalized small town feel. Reasonable pricing as well. I guess since (their much delayed) “re-opening” post COVID lockdown, it’s just not the same. Maybe it’s the ownership change? No idea. I sent my significant other there with her dog and the staff was unfriendly and disorganized regarding her initial appointment. She mentioned they seemed to kind of still be in a March 2020 mindset. Regardless your position on pandemic protocol in summer of 2021, their very mandated practices to “check in” (when it’s 95 deg outside) and then be masked in a place with dog hair and poop all over the floor seems to be pretty silly at this point in time. If you are someone who is currently very fearful of catching a virus, and still want to take your pet in to a veterinarian office, and then also want to participate in make believe theatrics to potentially help placate your worries, then this is the place for you. Hopefully this review drives more like-minded clientele to this vet (sincerely mean that). It’s their business and fortunately in this great state they can have whatever policies they’d like. We’d rather live life like normal and thus have switched to another of the many offices in the area with better reviews, that operate carefully, but also rationally and in newer, cleaner facilities to boot. I know this place will do just fine no matter what as it is in a prime location for any pet service provider. Wish them the best.

The doctors, techs and staff are phenomenal. They treat our fur babies with respect, care and love. Our dogs actually become excited they realize they are going to the vet. The team is like family. I could go on and on. I would recommend to treat your pet with the best and they are the best.

This place is the best. Kind and caring doctors and techs. Open on weekends as well. Didn't even charge me for a nail trimming for my Daisy dog.

We used the groomer behind the clinic and they are 5 star groomer.

The doctors and staff treat my dogs and cat like they were their own! I can not say enough good things about Dr. Sue, Dr. Mari and the entire crew here at Meadow Brooke. They go above and beyond every single time! Any pet emergency I have had (and there have been several), they are right there for my dogs. I have been going to them for well over 10 years. Dr. Sue and the staff there have taken such good care of all my dogs and cats from when they were puppies and kittens to when they were seniors. Dr. Sue and the entire staff at Meadow Brooke work so hard and provide my pets with quality care. I am so appreciative of all they have done for my pets these past 10 years!

I’ve had a great experience with this practice. The doctors are kind and professional. They provide the facts and options. I have senior dogs that need extra care and they do a great job understanding the needs and the risks. The staff is so helpful and kind. I have a disability and they always accommodate me.

We were most pleased with the service we received for our dog, Kobe. This was our first visit to Meadow Brook Animal Hospital and was during the Covid quarantine. The staff was very efficient and the phone conversations were so very helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of our pet.

The staff at Chastain Medical Group in McKinney is exemplary! Maggie loves going to see Dr. Mari and she takes excellent care of her!

I have used this vet for over 12 years. I have never gone to another! The Doctors and the entire team are extremely professional, kind and thoughtful. They never waiver on caring for my dog. No surprises because they -- including the Doctor -- go over the care plan and costs before and after treatment. I moved from Plano to Uptown years ago, and still make the drive. Eddie Hill and Jock

We've been taking our dogs and cat to Meadow Brook for several years. I've never had a problem with any of their services. They're all kind and gentle with the animals. They've cured both my dog's allergies, repaired one dog's ACL and put the same dog back together after he was hit by a car. I highly recommend this Meadow Brook.

I love the staff and treatment of my Great Pyrenees/Shepherd, Ollie. Meadow Brook is my pup's second home. They've gone the extra mile on several occasions for Ollie and myself. Make sure you remember when your pets are due, they sure wont remind you. They come up with some BS, well your pet was due last month, we are sending out reminder now. WHAT??? A MONTH AFTER THEY ARE DUE???? Save your money.. that's all they want.

This is my Veterinarian Office, my pet a Maltee dog has been going here since got him at two he is now eight. He loves all the Veterinarians there. They are so patience and friendly and knowledgeable and explain to you so you can understand what is going on with your pet. The Office Staffers are also friendly, helpful and always give you a follow up call to check on your pet after a visit. I gave them five stars would have given more. I am very please with the care my pet has been receiving in their care.

Meadow Brook Animal Hospital is the only vet clinic that I trust with my Flemish Giant rabbit. Dr. Samantha and Dr. Mari are both super knowledgable and very kind. They take excellent care of my bunny and always make time to answer my questions. The vet staff is professional and friendly, and the inside facilities are well-maintained. Vets this good are hard to find, so I highly recommend Meadow Brook Animal Hospital!

I've always had great experiences taking my 2 bullies here. They are caring, reasonable prices, and always call to check after your appointment to make sure things going well.

My dog receives the best care here. He just went in for his annual checkup and also had a teeth cleaning. Dr. Sue is a wonderful veterinarian and explains everything about my dog's health so well.

I would advise to think twice before using this Vet! My dog had unfortunately torn his ACL. After diagnosing that he needed TPLO surgery I was informed by the staff of the cost to treat him. It was communicated to me that the $3300 surgery cost included his 4 week and 8 week post op X-rays and check up. I even asked prior to surgery if the $3300 included everything and was assured, “Yes” by the staff. Not the case! They wanted to charge an additional $250 plus the cost of extra medication, and another $250 at 8 weeks. The office manager Tammy was less than interested in making it right. Please do your homework before going to this Vet!

Have been taking our dogs maverick and Kiko to meadow brook for as long as they have been with us, which is 7 yrs. The staff are kind and efficient and Dr Mari takes the time during a visit to really make you feel like you have her full attention. Highly recommend !!

Very disappointed .I recently took my 2 dogs their to be boarded for the weekend. When I dropped them off I told the nurse I only wanted the shots that were required to board them there.After looking at the bill I noticed charges for shots that weren't required . I called them to ask why they did shots that weren't required they said I signed the paper work allowing them to do the shots . I signed the paperwork trusting that it was correct didn't think I had to read it .Long story short if you use this facility make sure you read the paper work. I never plan on using them again I trusted them and they ruined my trust so sad!!!!!!
