I've been going to Highlands-Eldorado for nearly 20 years. 20 years, 6 dogs and they treat me like I'm a new client; professional, responsive and they know their business. Love the entire crew there.

I had an intern as the vet today. She was thorough and efficient. We liked her, and we'll visit again next year.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Taylor and his staff! I first came across their clinic a year ago when looking for CCL tear surgery options. Dr. Taylor walked us through the tightrope procedure and explained the process very clearly and walked us through the treatment plan. We live on the third floor and he offered to keep Caden under their direct care until he was able to walk up stairs again, roughly a month - month and a half long, at no extra charge. They knew from the beginning our dog was not the fondest of others not allowing anyone but us to touch him. He growls and snaps but they are able to sedate him safely and they take the steps necessary to not only make Caden the most comfortable as possible but us as well. They took their time with Caden as he worked to warm up to the staff. By the end of his stay, they were all best friends. So when Caden tore his other CCL just 5 days ago, I knew who to call immediately. They took us in on Monday and performed the surgery the same day. Caden is currently recovering with them and they allow us to come visit him every day. He will be with them until Thanksgiving, if not longer. The first few days he wasn’t wanting to eat or take his pills for the staff, which happened the first round. So they let us come in and spend as much time as we want with him so that he feels comfortable enough to take his meds and eat. I would recommend Dr. Taylor and his staff over and over again. The go out of their way to accommodate any needs you and your fur baby may have. The tightrope procedure is the way to go and much less costly and invasive compared to the TPLO procedure. 5 stars isn’t enough in my opinion.

I highly recommend Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital. It was an overall great experience from when I made the 1st call until after our appointment was complete. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Taylor and his entire staff. I found them when searching out options for repairing a CCL tear in my sweet girl. The tightrope technique Dr. Taylor recommended was different than the TPLO surgery most others offered, it was less invasive and had the upside of speedier recovery. He took extensive time to explain the differences, answer my questions, and plan out a course of action. In panic trying to get her in they got her in for a consultation and surgery the same week. They’ve gone above and beyond with the care and the updates of my fur baby. Being away from your dog for awhile really stinks but knowing she’s in the best hands is the biggest relief!! ♡So grateful for Highlands- Eldorado Veterinary Hospital I appreciate, 1. How quickly they were able to get me an appointment for Betsy. 2. The thorough details about each surgery procedures, the updates and letting me visit. 3. Everyone in the hospital is as kind as can be. ♡

Dr Taylor and his staff consistently show professionalism, care and love for what they do every day. I wouldn’t take my pet anywhere else! Dr Taylor takes the time to explain every diagnosis and procedure, whether they are small or involved.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Taylor and his entire staff. We found them when searching out options for repairing double CCL tears in our Berner, Leia. Christi at the front desk was so helpful in relaying our requests to Dr. Taylor, responding quickly to me, and squeezing us in for that same day. When your dog can’t walk at all every minute is appreciated! The tightrope technique Dr. Taylor recommended was different than the TPLO surgery most others offered, it was less invasive and had the upside of speedier recovery. He took extensive time to explain the differences, answer our questions, and plan out a course of action. We had been on a waitlist for surgery at another center for 5 weeks prior to Leia tearing the second CCL while we waited, so we were thankful that EHVC made room on their schedule for her in 4 days. The day of the first surgery they sent video of her “walking” on the first repair, they cared for her for that first week and completed the second surgery one week later. Again they sent me video of her afterwards, this time walking on two casts, but walking again! After one more week of “inpatient” care Leia came home in two casts, happy and hobbling. Those casts were off shortly after, and everyone at the office was so supportive throughout her rehab and when she had a few unrelated issues. No letter how busy the office was they made a way to get her the care she needed. She is now back to 99% of her old ways, running and playing and happy. EHVC has also helped us navigate issues with our older dog, always talking through care plans and explaining options. Veterinary care can be costly, especially when it’s surgery, etc… but they have been reasonable and conscious of costs, offering options as needed and never making me feel like less of a “pet parent” when I need to make a decision to hold off on certain things. We are grateful we found such a wonderful, knowledgeable veterinary clinic for our pets!

We were looking for a second opinion in a CCL case for our female boxer and Dr Taylor was able to provide detailed explanations about options, pros and cons.... Great advice and now -without the need of another surgery- our dog Letty is progressing well ! Thanks Dr Taylor and staff : )

After going to Dr Wes Taylor for 20 years, I would never even consider going anywhere else. He has welcomed my new pups, healed them when they were hurt or ill, and comforted all of us when it was time to send my angels to the Rainbow Bridge. The group at Highlands-Eldorado is family. These guys are simply amazing! My dog has a tight rope procedure on his rear left leg. His ACL was torn. He absolutely loves going back for his visits. He loves these people and they love him!! The care is outstanding! Dr. Taylor is so knowledge, very explanatory, and genuinely loves my Rocky. It’s about the animals here not the money! Highly recommend this awesome team!! Rocky and Shelly

I was recommended this place and as a first time cat mom I was really pleased with the staff. They took plenty of time and treated my little baby with care and kindness. They helped make me feel calm. I was allowed to go in with her during covid-19. The staff took all the precautions and had a very clean office!

They always take amazing care of our dogs. They know our dog by name and make us feel like they really care about our dog. It's a big improvement in service from the big box store vets like Banfield. We've recommended to friends who all say they had the same experience.

Such a great place! We take both our cat and small dog here. Cat is 13 years old, and dog is 10. They are very knowledgeable in caring for senior pets. Every staff member we encounter is friendly and accommodating. Our dog has trauma history prior to being adopted, and her vet was so receptive to her needs. I appreciated the trauma informed care approach in an animal setting. It was very genuine! Other pros: -They do take CareCredit which is SO helpful since vet bills can be expensive regardless of where you go. -Very good at answering the phone. I don’t think I’ve ever had to leave a VM during business hours. They may need to leave a message for the vet, but someone ALWAYS calls back. Good continuity of care.

We have been going to Highland Eldorado Veterinary for several years now. The folks there are not just our Vets, they’re our friends. Our German Shepherd has a non-functioning pancreas (EPI). She would be dead were it not for the team efforts of Dr.s Taylor and Kiernicki (and us). She now functions as normally as one could hope for. I am very comfortable recommending them!

We had a wonderful vist with Dr. Taylor and everyone at the office. Everyone was very friendly and informative and I felt very comfortable with my decision to have them do surgery on Bella's CCL. Soon she will be back to her normal self and no limping!

DR. TAYLOR and DR. KIERNICKI are POSITIVELY THE BEST of THE BEST. The staff is AS GREAT AS IT GETS! The entire office works as a team. AMAZING, CARING, KNOWLEDGE, ORGANIZED and then some. They’re warm people and they TRULY CARE. KRISTI, AFTON, ROB and everyone else, goes ABOVE and BEYOND. We’ve been taking our beautiful Westies here for over 11 years. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Kiernicki are so honest, smart and have never steered us wrong. I’d give them a million stars if I could. We LOVE the staff and DR’s soooo much! Thank you all from our hearts for keeping our angels healthy and happy. We LOVE YOU ALL! Zoey, Zack, Randee and Louie

Dr Taylor and his staff are amazing. We took our old boxer in for euthanasia and they were so Compassionate. I had been taking my dogs to vaccination station to save some money since we had 3 dogs, but just visiting them again makes me think twice. While we save some money, the care we receive from Highland-Eldorado is worth the price. Thank you for your compassion and taking the time to sit with m husband and I over this agonizing decision.

These guys are great! 20 minutes till closing time and one of my dogs gets tangled up with a great dane. It took 3 grown men 2-3 minutes to pull them apart. I called to check on closing time and figured I would have to go to ER due to the time, however, no! My dog was seen, meds dispensed and we were back home, 10 minutes after the 'closing time'. Great staff and work. I love them.

Love highlands veterinary!! They go above and beyond to take care of your pet. I don’t trust any other clinic with my fur baby. They are always there to talk you through any needs, make it easy to understand, and give loving care to every pet.
